Unfortunately, I had water in my basement and was faced with a waterproofing job I knew nothing about. several friends gave recommendations and I am thankful I called Mayer Plumbing. He came out immediately, assessed the job and it was well within my budget. Workers were on time, professional and clearly knew what they were doing. I would have no problem recommending Mayer. I know I'll call with any other issues I might have!

I love Mayer plumbing! I can't recommended them highly enough. I've had so many sewer/ heating and cooling issues since I bought my house and Mayer plumbing has taken care of everything. They're hard workers and it shows. They are very friendly and professional. Very efficient. A sewer repair that was schedule for three days they finished in one. I had missed an appointment for my AC and they offered to come out the next day. Amazing customer service as well. Again, I recommend Mayer plumbing for anything you might need.

Be careful of bait and switch tactics! Jason came out in April to give us an estimate on a two-stage project. Conversations with the main office and first stage went smooth. When they came back for the second stage, all of the sudden the project turned into "this is big money". It took multiple calls to the office to resolve the situation. Very unprofessional.

I needed the sewer line from the house to the sidewalk replaced. It was supposed to be a 3 day job, ended up being 2-1/2 weeks. A lot of down time due to smoke breaks and hours long lunch breaks. Even my neighbor commented on why wasn't there more work going on. However, the job was finally done and seems to be done well. Even though I was told no less than 3 times by the lead guy on the job they would come back in the spring to straighten out the dirt (over 100' of yard torn up) and several calls and emails to the owner of the business, I never got any help.

I was told they don't do 'final grading' but all I wanted was enough dirt to fill in the yard. They took too much dirt away and once all the settling occured I was left with huge gaping holes in my yard 12" to 18" deep. I had to bring in a load of gravel to backfill and 2 truck loads of dirt. Sad to see a company that won't stand behind their word anymore. I chose them because it is a local, family-owned business but I guess paying them $14,000 didn't matter once they had my money.

They arrived at our home as soon as they could, did estimations through the home, then started the work, the estimations were reasonable, but can be pricey, the work was done efficient and fast and solved our problem

We have used Mayer Plumbing multiple times at both of our homes (for installations and repairs). Most recently we had them come out and move the water hookup for our washer and dryer to be able to use the first floor laundry room. Adam has helped us with every project and is always very friendly and professional. Fair prices and good service keep us coming back. Highly recommend.

We had them install a water line and hot water tank. It worked for a less than a week and would not heat up. The tank is lucky to get skin temperature water and they have no solution and do not call back or respond to email or calls. First we had a leak in the tank and they said it was just a pressure valve. Problem so we had it replaced. That ended up costing close to $400 to repair.

Then the tank ruptured and flooded the whole room. It took a week to come out and replace the broken one and that one went bad after 3 days. It's been over 3 weeks with no hot water or solution. They just send tech out and they shake their head and say see how it goes. Wait it may get warm Later an hour or a couple days. It's not going to fix its own problem. We need a solution not excuses

Mayer Plumbing waterproofed part of an apartment building and were absolutely amazing. They were so mindful of our property and took extra care to not cause damage to our grass with their heavy equipment. Their employees expained what they were doing and were absolutely professional. Mayer plumbing did some work at the house, I asked the tech the cost of installing a faucet and garbage disposal, he quoted me $149. for each. Another tech came out for the installation.quoted me $199 each. I explained that the previous tech quoted me $149 and it was on the invoice. He called the office and verified it. Then he comes back with to install the sink mounting flange for the disposal it would be another $50.

It's only $149 if it's changed disposal for disposal. Now that's ridiculous, disposals are rarely changed with exactly the same model. Beyond that the assembly to install was included with the disposal. So, I agreed as this was being done for an elderly family member and I was not present. However, I called Mayer to speak with someone regarding this apparent bait and switch and my call was not returned. With so many elderly people in Parma be careful what you agree to.

Needed a shutoff valve replaced from house build in the 40's. Adam showed up in time was very polite. Did a fantastic job looks good.

Very happy with my plumbing experience with Mayer Plumbing. I would definitely use them again.

We've hired Mayer for a variety of services, and they've been wonderful. They're knowledgeable, honest, and do excellent work! I've had sewer line repair, gas line repair, reverse flow preventer valve installation, tankless water heater service, HVAC service, fixture installations, and I'm sure some other things I'm forgetting. They do it all, professionally, honestly, and stand by their work. Their pricing is reasonable, and they always have some advice on how to save a few bucks. If you're in Parma, get that valve put in and use these guys!

I called on a Friday afternoon requesting service as my air vents were full of water and my HVAC system would not work because of it. The woman I spoke to said she would page the on-call technician who then would call me to decide if my issue was urgent or if it could wait until Saturday. I never heard back from the technician on Friday. On Saturday morning around 10am, I still had not heard back and therefore called the company again. However, the line was "busy" for almost an hour. By Saturday afternoon I still had not heard back from anybody. If you need a reliable plumbing service quickly, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I give this Plumbing Company a 5 Star rating. I had them repair my faucets in my office restroom and replace my Hot Water Tank they did a great job and no more leaks! Jason, the owner and his Staff are Professional grade and I will highly recommend Mayer Plumbing to everyone I know! *****

I had many companies over for estimates. I used to be in the business years ago when I was younger so I knew what to look for. This one had Kevin doing the job. He was polite, professional and especially honest. He and Jason came in and did a remarkable job in a time that I thought could not be done. During this time I had Covid-19 concerns and they rescheduled without any problem.

I want to thank the office personnel for calling me on a Sunday to confirm. They ware remarkable. I think this is the best company in the business. Hats off to Kevin for being so forthcoming.

I got an estimate from Mayer for some plumbing in my rental unit. The tech showed up several hours late.twice, but he did excellent work. I received a call from Mayer telling me that the tech was running behind, which was okay. I switched my schedule at work to accommodate the estimate and the repair. My new valves don't leak like the old ones did and they're better valves.

I had six valves replaced, including one to my refrigerator and one pressure control valve for the whole house. It took about two and a half hours and cost $925 dollars for the work to be completed. Mayer installed my furnace back in 2001 also. Great work!

I could not be more satisfied with Mayer Plumbing and Heating! I needed a new furnace and A/C unit, and Jason came out to assess the situation. He provided me information on the models they offer, and sent me a quote the very next day. I also needed to have the units installed sooner than later, and they made sure to deliver. I was also very pleased with our installer, Chris, who was very knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way.

He was thorough and clean, making sure to tidy up before leaving. I would most definitely recommend this company to others who may be in need of similar service. There's a reason why they've been in business for so many years!

We've used this company many times for bathroom remodeling, grinder pump repair, furnace cleaning, hot water tank replacing, and more. We have found Mayer Plumbing to always be moderately priced compared to other companies. The owner is great to work with. I highly recommend them and have had many of my friends use them with the exact same feedback.

We just used Mayer plumbing for an extensive outside drain and water proofing job for us after receiving several quotes they were the most reasonable. The owner himself gave us the quote and was very professional and upfront. The entire process of the job went very smooth. Would highly recommend.

We hired Mayer Plumbing and Heating to move a bathroom commode and sink within the same room about 4 feet in distance from its previous location. We were in a remodeling project in our offices and this work alone cost nearly $8,000. We couldn't keep their workers on the job more than 2 hours at a time. They would leave for long periods, go across the street and smoked and used their cell phones.

We failed the building inspection for this bathroom after their work. The inspector gave them clear guidelines as to what code required. It took 4 visits from the inspector before things were done right. Shortly after the installation was completed, we had a sewer backup in this bathroom, something we had never had before during a period of 48 years.

We then had a power flush toilet installed (by another company) thinking that would help. It was to no avail. We finally brought in a plumber with a camera who found a 10 foot chain made up of 2 links tied in knots in the drain just beyond where the new PVC drainpipe that had been installed by Mayer Plumbing was connected to the original steel pipe. Of course, at added expense, we had to have the chain extricated. We have had no backups since having the chain removed. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Repair person showed up at the exact time he said. Very knowledgeable, very polite. We had a garbage disposal that was leaking. He replaced it quickly and efficiently. He drained our sludge-filled hot water tank for no charge.since he was here (they had installed it a couple years ago). Would highly recommend them.

We woke up to our expansion tank spraying water all over the basement. We were referred to Mayer Plumbing and they not only could come out in the same day they had all the parts needed to handle our job. Within 5 hours of calling for help our new hot water tank was replaced and completed. It was wonderful working with them.

I called and they were able to get someone out first thing the next morning to perform the work. They were on time, courteous and gave me options for service. The guys explained what would happen if they did nothing, bare minimum and recommended course of action.

This company did a camera scope on a sewer drain on a rental property we own. We live out of state. When we requested a copy of the results (DVD/video) they said they would get back to us. Two and a half weeks later I called back. They said they only provide it if the customer asks for it, they didn't have it anymore and wanted another $125 to come out again! Really?

We checked with several other companies (after the fact, of course) and every one said they either provide the DVD or send an email with a written report and attached video.and do so automatically! Unfortunately, we allowed our long-term tenant to choose this company. We believe it was the techs responsibility to ASK if a copy of the scope was wanted.

The tenant didn't realize they had to ask. How ridiculous! What poor service! Had they done the "right" thing, they stood a shot at a job worth thousands of dollars. Instead, they lost our business!

I appreciate your fast service & excellent help. I'm glad it wasn't a big problem & it was resolved quickly. Jessie was very pleasant & knowledgeable & found the leak right away. I was very pleased. I've lived in Parma most of my life & this was the first time I called on you for help & I'm glad I did. I will request Jessie next time I need a plumber.

STOP! Do not call unless you are willing to pay $1000 (Labor Only) to get a garbage disposal installed! Or maybe they will just not find time to call you back after giving you such and outrageous quote to justify.

This is to inform you that I was very pleased with the customer service your technicians, Roger and Kevin, demonstrated today. They made several repairs, including bringing our home up to code by installing an expansion tank which a previous plumber never told us we needed. They came back, later in the day, when we had a problem with water pressure.
