Competition is the best thing for an industry. When multiple companies are competing for your business it promotes efficiency, lowers costs, drives innovation, and helps the industry evolve. When an industry is monopolized, and competition is eliminated, the monopoly loses it's incentive to cut costs, innovate, and provide good customer service because they know their customer's have no other choice.
The energy industry is a prime example of how monopolies can be damaging. We've been using the same methods for nearly a century and costs continue to rise year after year. We at V3 are thrilled at the opportunity to provide a better option to power your home.

Oil, Coal, and Natural gas are not limitless. These will continue to increase in cost, while solar power gets more efficient and more affordable. The sun will be around for another 5 billion years, and by capturing a fraction of its energy we can power all of humanity forever. No more oil tankers, coal mines, moving parts or power lines.

Sales person came to my door in Diamond Springs and got my name off the package at my door. He was trespassing as the sign to enter the neighborhood clearly states no soliciting. He scooted off on a hoverboard like a character out of southpark. If you knock on my door and try to represent yourself as a "electric provider" then state, "you're not trying to sell something", you are clearly a liar sir! One should ask themself before continuing a relationship of commerce with this company; when do the lies begin and do they end?

If you are looking for an honest solar company you need to contact Brett Tighe at V3 Electric. I had my solar installed in 2019. Prior to my installation I had my attorney review the contract. He was very satisfied, so I made my decision. I had a very honest and knowledgeable young man, Brett Tighe, meet with me. He spent several hours explaining the advantages of having solar.
He was not high pressured but rather wanted me to fully understand the product. He reviewed my PG&E bills and showed me just how much I would be saving by switching to solar. I have not yet regretted going solar. Besides saving money, we are helping the environment. I volunteer with our CERT Team in Napa County and am very aware of power outages due to fires.
It makes sense to have solar for so many reasons; not only for the environment, but if you, or a family member, is on life support and the power goes out your backup battery can save their lives. I highly recommend V3 Electric for your solar needs, and please do not hesitate to ask for Brett Tighe. You won't be regret your decision.

We installed our solar May 2021 and June 2021 it was up and running. It has almost been a year and we've saved at least $800 from not having solar at all. We had another company put in our first panels and that was costing up $1200 a year at tune-up. Plus the other company told us we could not add any more panels when in the beginning they told us they would if we needed it. So we had V3 install more panels and we have saved so much.

V3 is awesome! I can be a tedious customer, but V3 did not shy away. V3 did not get impatient with me. I took them through quite a few scenarious, just to be certain I am getting exactly what I want. And that's what I am getting. I am totally confident in my decision. Thank you Ronnie! Thank you V3! I look forward to meeting all of you.

WARNING - Be sure to ask V3 about True-Up costs before agreeing to use them. I was told that based on V3's calculations that I would save money each month on power usage. As result, I pay severely more each month with a $3k per year true-up bill. I have asked them for help and they advised me that I need to cut down my 100+ year old trees in order to cut my $3k true-up costs by 25%.
Even if I did cut trees down (which I am not), I am still losing money each month with V3. Instead of taking accountability for their mistake in miscalculating my projected energy production, V3 blamed me for using too much power. I got screwed using V3. BE CAREFUL.

We have been so impressed with V-3 employees and services for the installation of our battery backup. Everyone has been knowledgeable, prompt and helpful with any questions we have had. The installation went very smoothly and on time. It was refreshing to work with a company with such professionalism and wonderful service. Thank you.

January 2019 We wanted to have solar installed. It was to be a ground mount. We received all the paperwork on line. Our rep. came out to talk about the terms and when it would be installed. He came out one more time to put up signs for V3. In July I called to see what was happening. I was told they were waiting for a work permit. I was on line and the permit was granted in Feb.
I asked what was the problem? We are very busy. It may take up to a year. I canceled for non-performance. This is January 2022 they have not canceled the work permit. I called the phone # on the on line add, it does not answer. Not a good company. They are part of SUNRUN group. Be careful. Edith Heller

Awful! No follow up. No follow through. Nothing but lies. Nothing but issues. Like others I jumped at the chance to ditch PG&E. Long story short, I have a battery backup that has never worked, both V3 and Sunrun never call back and it takes months to resolve any issue. Constantly getting the run-around from everyone I talk to. Then, end of the year we got our true-up bill - $600 extra we had to pay for a system that never works.
Now I am being told my roof doesn't have enough space for the solar panels I need for our energy usage, and that the sales rep who sold it to me was new and likely wouldn't have known that. Just stay away!

This company is a fraud! I met with their team a couple months ago and was initially impressed with the concept. I told them I would do some more research and get back to them. I called them yesterday at 11am and spoke with the person I initially spoke with at my home. He seemed pushy and kept referencing that I have my electric bill? He said first he had no appts till later around 6pm I opted for that one and then he kept saying he wanted to come in two hours?
That made me skeptical. I met with him at my home at 6pm and things went well then in the middle of the conversation my bell rung and the guy I was speaking to said it was his associate? No notice or anything someone else entered my home. This guy was a total idiot! Totally arrogant and got loud and disrespectful to me. I threw him and his buddy out of my home.
They lie about the system.they take your tax credit for solar and tie you up to a 25 year agreement that essentially is a LEASE. Don't do business with these people. YOU are warned.

Absolutely horrible company! If I could give less than one star I would. Promises, promises. Buyer be ware. Read EVERYTHING and UNDERSTAND it. They will try to modify your original agreement to suit their needs. Horrendous communication. Billing is constantly wrong. Just don't do business with them and avoid a world of stress.

If I could give zero stars I would. They use a bunch of sub contractors who did poor work. Never fixed any of my concerns and then tried to get me to sign a new contract once panels went in at over 15k more. Once I started to voice and document my concerns to V3 they never even sent an actual V3 employee to check things out. Now they can't even tell me when PG&E will come out and bless the system so we can start banking for winter. Jerry

Last week my system passed the county inspection. This morning three V3 guys show up unannounced to replace a disconnect. They turned the power off, and then discovered they need different fittings, so they run off to the hardware store. I'm sitting here with my generator running, so so far it's just like PG&E. I have no complaints with any of the V3 installers that have been here, but the scheduling is terrible.

10/10 Would not recommend. V3 came to us as new homeowners and sold us on this grand way to escape PG&E pricing. As a Northern Californian, who doesn't hate PG&E enough to jump ship? Should have stayed. We were told by our sales rep, Nick Russo (who conveniently is no longer with V3) that we would have a fixed payment of $154/month, no true-up bill (and if there was one, they would pay for it since their company didn't accurately account for our usage) and if there was a credit, WE would receive it and that they would also apply for government funded solar battery backups.
Absolutely none of this is true. After MONTHS of just trying to get service with V3 up and running, we were finally successful.then came the billing issues. We have now learned we don't have a fixed monthly payment of $154 as promised, and if there is a true-up at the end of the year WE pay for it. Oh, and the deadline was missed on the battery backups so if we want those, we'd have to finance that on our own.
When contacting V3 I was essentially told there was nothing they could do for me and to contact Sunnova (the financer) about my billing issues. Even though it was their representative who misinformed us through the whole sign up process. I just spoke with Sunnova and if we want to change our contract to fixed (which it should have been already) its $250 and yeah it won't be $154/month. Please stay away from V3 and Sunnova. Neither one of them is going to stick to their word or help you.

V-3 Electric was the company we finally went to after years and years of research kept showing that solar panels would be something that was always cost prohibited. V-3 finally showed and proved to be the best direction to go to get solar panels on our homes roof. Zero out of pocket for installation and monthly payments on top of getting electricity WAY below PG&E's outrageous prices during the day and over charges during the hours that most get home from work and run their AC to cool the home down, cook dinner and relax before ending their day.
For zero money, V-3 Electric's company sends an engineer to determine that best panel placements for maximum sun exposure. Then they contact the city or county building department to obtain a permit for the job. once the permit is obtained, they send their expert team of installers first thing in the morning and by the end of the day or earlier, the install is complete and has been inspected by the building inspector.
The next day they contact your power company and arrange to have a representative come and inspect the wiring from the home to the power company's grid connection. Once completed a date and time is set for the home owner to call V-3 and they stay on the line with you giving step by step instructions for turning on the panels. And let me tell you that is a wonderful feeling turning the switch.
You don't hear anything at all but the feeling of just knowing that you are now getting power for your home from the sun and any power that you don't use is sent to the power company's grid. For our home and family, our monthly power bill went from $400+ monthly to a third or more less. Contact V-3 electric and have their representatives come by your home and explain how it all works then discuss everything with your partner and do more research, but I think that you will see that V-3s the best way to go.

These sales people are nuts! They came tuesday of this week. Spoke to my better half and made an appointment for Friday. We decided we don't want solar now so she cancelled the appointment on Thursday morning. They still showed up. The cancelled appointment was at 6, I got home from work at 7 to find them in my yard. They had been waiting a whole damn hour!
Beyond pushy when I told them no we don't want solar and I just got home from work and I want to be left the hell alone! We will eventually get solar but it sure as hell won't be through them

Had the system put up about a year ago. Still hasn't been authorized by Edison. Had neighbors get systems put up by other companies and they already got their rebates. Have no help from v3 to push Edison. Also had roof damage when the system was setup. They was asked for pictures, quote, and the manager even came out and said yes he will send a check to repair it. Sent that in right away and still haven't heard back from them. I have 3 other properties that need solar system but questioning if this year long headache is worth it. I shopped around and they had the best flat rate.

V3 Electric installed my solar panels in June of 2016. From start to finish the process was smooth. All of V3 associates including the office staff are extremely qualified, efficient and helpful! I've been extremely pleased with the efficiency of the solar panels and the work that was performed to get everything running. I highly recommend this company. Thank you V3!

I wanted to add my compliments to Regional Sales Manager Eric Corbridge who was our primary contact throughout the purchase, the installation process, and his aftermarket assurances. Eric was professional, courteous, patient and very thorough in demonstrating the nuances of the process. My wife wanted to save the planet and I wanted to save money.

I checked out several solar companies before finally settling on V3. Their sales rep Joe, was extremely helpful and up front with all the details on how the system operates and what the rates are and are going to be. They went above and beyond what I expected from a solar company. They delivered on all their promises.
