First and foremost, they responded to my request for a quote. I was planning on spending a lot of money on this project and wanted the best. Another reputable landscape company showed up, were rude and then blew me off. I was expecting the same.but Taylormade was AWESOME. I will admit, there was a miscommunication once, and that was quickly rectified. The ownerJamel, the lead on the crew that worked on my yard Fermin (I think is his name), and ALL the other were fantastic. Thank you gentlemen for your great work.

I've been a Taylormade customer for four years at two different homes! Jamel, Michelle and the rest of the team are responsive, accommodating and professional! Having recently moved into a new home I worked with Jamel directly to enhance our landscaping Wich turned out beautifully! Most recently Taylormade did a sealant treatment on our driveway pavers, pulling out the bright natural color. The result has neighbors asking how and who. I appreciate the professionalism of the Taylormade team!

I highly recommend Taylormade Landscapes! We met with Jamel to design our back yard (new construction). He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He made a few suggestions that we didn't even think of, walked us through different paver/plant options, and provided an itemized quote (which is really nice for budgeting after buying a new house).

His crew was professional, efficient, and fast. Back yard turned out even better than we expected and we're really happy with the results! Will definitely hire again in the future.

Would highly recommend. We had interviewed with 3 companies and we chose to go with Taylormade Landscapes. We had both our front and back yards done. What we appreciated: 1) itemized quote/invoice. It was easy too see what we were paying for. This made it easy to make adjustments to our plans before we came to an absolute decision and signed the agreement. 2) When the workers showed they all had uniforms with the Taylormade logo. 3) Easy way to make payments over the internet and 4) everyday the workers cleaned up after themselves. 5) What was really nice were the daily emails (from the office staff) showing the progress of their work. We recently had our backyard designed and landscaped by Taylormade Landscapes and cannot be more pleased. We had a half done backyard, the done part was our swimming pool. Now the whole yard is complete and beautiful. It is so pleasant to spend time out there now. Jamel and all of the crew are amazing to work with. Any problems or concerns were immediately dealt with. They deserve more than 5 stars!

As a favor to my neighbors, I parked my car in their beautiful paver driveway while they were away on vacation, only to discover that my car had leaked power steering fluid all over those beautiful pavers!

I have known the owner for 20+ years. He is an honest and hardworking guy. Father and husband that has been landscaping for as long as I can remember.

We moved into a new home with an overgrown and muddy backyard. We contacted Jamel who walked through the yard twice to recommend an approach. The outcome was exactly what I was looking for. His team was very hard working.

He did some work for me about 6 years ago. Great response time and workmanship.

We love our backyard Taylormade Landscapes remodeled for us. Before landscaping, half of the space in our yard was unused and very unpleasant to look at. Now we are enjoying the whole yard and spending time daily there. Jamel and his crew are very professional and highly skilled at what they do. All work was done discreetly, fast and well. Jamel was able to design the space so it is very functional, beautiful and perfect fit to the other half of the yard that did not get work done.

Also it is a perfect fit to the size and lifestyle of our family. He was very informative in the design phase with options for the right materials and design so the cost of the project stayed in our budget. His estimate before the work started stayed very true to the final amount.

I found Taylormade Landscapes online and got a free quote. After discussing ideas, Jamel Taylor (owner) came back the next day with a detailed computer-drafted graphic to make sure we both had the same understanding of the plan. He itemized all costs to make it easy to understand and easy to decide if we wanted to modify any of it based on price. I also got a quote from a competitor company.

The other company had a fancy website, but the prices were much higher, not itemized, and the plans were not drafted, but instead quickly drawn on a scratch piece of paper. I am very glad I went with Taylormade. The workers were prompt, meticulous, and clean cut, complete with uniforms. They were very detail-oriented and it was obvious they knew their trade.

We got artificial turf, 3-ft stacker wall, a paver patio, and xeriscape. Jamel always had time to discuss questions or concerns. The crew cleaned the whole area upon completion including rinsing dust off the street! The whole thing was done very professionally and timely. I highly recommend Taylormade. ---------------------- We previously had our entire back, side, and front yard beautifully landscaped by Taylormade a year ago.

The experience from start to finish was professional, prompt, clean, and professional. Did I also mention professional? We recently called Taylormade for a springtime yard cleanup. This included pruning the dormant plants, trimming back trees and bushes, and general overall cleanup. The work was scheduled the same week that I called. I wasn't able to meet Taylormade at home for the work, which was no problem at all.

The crew came in, performed their work as promised, and sent me both before and after photos. The difference was amazing. My husband commented that there was not even a single leaf left on the grass of the front yard. I worry about sounding like an artificial commercial in an online review, so I'll just write it exactly as I said it to my husband a moment ago - "Taylormade is the single best experience with a contractor that I've ever had."

We had Jamel Taylor and his crew re-landscape our backyard. Trees, bushes and rocks were removed and synthetic turf was added. The crew knew exactly what they were doing, were always on time, were very professional, and the job was completed to our specifications and on time. Even though we had a contract, I believe this job could have been completed by handshake only.

I found Jamel to be very honest and upfront and explained everything that was to be done and how it was to be done. I highly recommend Taylormade landscape to anyone who wants a quality landscape at a reasonable price, professionally done and finished on time. PS: I seldom write reviews but I was so impressed with his work and with the man himself, that I felt I must write a review.

In todays world it is not very easy to find a company and workers who you can completely trust. But I found Jamel to be an honest man with excellent customer service skill. His workers were all very nice and hard working as well. I had a complicated plan for my backyard. I had 3 other landscape companies come out to bid on it. Their bids ranged from $30,000 to $50,000 to do the work.

I then had Jamel come out. He listened to my plan and looked over the sketch I made of what I wanted. He told me what in my plan was doable and pointed out some of the problems I might find in it. Then he told me the bid for the work would be $18,000. During construction on the backyard we ran into some issues with a subcontractor and Jamel was very good to communicate effectively to me about it and bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied and that the job (even the subcontractor's job) was properly and promptly done.

I had never met Jamel before he did our backyard and now I consider him a friend. In the almost 2 years since he did our backyard I have called him several times with questions or for minor service needs and he is always good to help me out or drive all the way out to my house just to do even a minor job. I will be using him again when I decide to do my front yard.
