I know lumber has gotten more expensive, but they robbed me blind. I've always gone here to replace portions of my cedar fence. After the insane price increase, I looked around, and you can gett lumber significantly cheaper elsewhere. Also, after paying for 10ft cedar posts, the guy around back gave me 9 footers. After I requested that he change them, he proceeded to do the worst notching job I've ever seen. I will be going elsewhere from now on. Have been getting cedar here for almost 30 years.

Not happy with this company. Had problems since they put up the fencing 6 years ago. They do not back up their work. One of our gates is rubbing and we can't use it. Called them twice and they said they're not doing repairs.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I'm in a process of spending $16,000 on a privacy gate. The lady Amber single-handedly lost my business there. There's a million places to get a fence and her attitude is not appreciated

The owner, Kevin Watson came out on Monday, May 9, 2022 to quote the job. We have a large firewood pile along the fence line. He asked that I move the wood before they come so I said, just let me know when the job is scheduled and then I'll move the wood because I didn't want the wood to sit on the lawn for a long time and kill it if they couldn't come out soon. Kevin told me to go ahead and move the wood and call him when it's moved and since it was a small job they could send a crew over in between jobs. Kevin gave me his personal card and I called the next day to tell tell him I'd moved the wood.

The receptionist told me I couldn't speak directly to Kevin but that she would relay the message. It's now one week later, May 17, 2022 and noone has contacted me or come out to do the job. I tried to call Kevin again today but Amber who answered the phone said he wasn't available. She put me on hold to talk with Kevin and per Amber, he said he told me a couple of weeks which is absolutely not true.

I never would have moved the wood onto my lawn if I thought it would be there for two weeks. She then told me that I'm not on the schedule and that the only guy who can make or change the schedule is out until Thursday and that there is no guarantee that I will be on next weeks schedule either and that two weeks is just an estimate; it could be longer.

I told her about my lawn and she said their contract doesn't cover lawns and that I still couldn't talk to Kevin whom she had literally just spoken to herself while I was on hold. I asked her to please have Kevin call me. She told me she would and to have a nice day.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality Don't recommend this company at all. Please read all the other negative reviews before choosing this company. Had fence installed in which I had issues with and they were not willing to take care of. Seem like once they have your money they could care less about you. Also the owner was very rude and unprofessional when speaking with me.

10 out 10 would NOT recommend using this company. Customer service must not be a requirement to work here and deal with the general public. After several deflections from "Amber" to get our previous quote validated and to get our appointment made, we finally chose to spend our money with a more responsive, honest, professional, and even more expensive alternative fencing company. Do not let these people waste your time if you are in the market for fencing needs, they're horrible to work with and don't stand by their word.

Wind storm took down part of the privacy fence Upright Fence installed 28 years ago. They came out the next day and it repaired quickly! Professional. Pleasant. Quick!

Started working with this company for a full replacement of a fence back in May. From May 27th-September 29th I call 7 time in regards to insulation dates. I was rescheduled every time and told a further date but never given a reason. On September 29th I received my first call from the company stating that the document given to them in may were not filled out properly.

It took 4 months for them to notice this. Very unorganized and unprofessional. On October 2nd I received another phone call stating that the owner is now pulling all current contracts and quote "because of an issue with another customer" all current contracts now need a state permit which will cost an extra $1,000. Note this is not required by the city I live in or the city they are based out of. Amber at the front desk has poor customer service, and is quite rude. I do not recommend having this place do any work for you. Go anywhere else.

Great customer service! After weeks of looking for a throw over loop latch- I was able to find exactly what I needed. I've been back 3x already- the owner was so incredibly helpful. He anticipated my needs for the project I'm working on at home and was happy to school me. There was a lot I was hoping to figure out as I went along but now I don't need to worry- I was informed of the materials I would need but also the methods of instillation to make the job easier! I highly recommend this store. I will definitely be back!

Very happy with the job my crew did. Upright was able to get my project done this year where others would only estimate to a possible 2022 start! There was great communication from start to finish.

I am the Service Manager at Door and Gate Company in GR and needed some parts first thing in the morning. I called and spoke with Kevin right at 8am and he was able to gather all the part I needed on short notice and the pricing was fair. He was professional and easy to talk to and work with. We will use Upright Fence for our parts needs on the East Side moving forward. ***Business Earned***

I had a great experience with Kevin and the team at upright fence. I installed a white vinyl rothbury fence on my own. Kevin was very informative and helpful along the way. Highly recommended

0 - Stars Bought nice white vinyl fence with steel gate. Fence is nice, but steel gate shows through the corners. Unlike the picture on their website that does not show any metal. Tried to have it fixed, but salesman Ken was no help. When called the office they referred me to the salesman Ken. Was told after the install it would have looked good if I would have had it swing in.

Since it swings out they don't know how to fix it and do it right. All they would have to do is move the hinges parallel with the driveway and move the vinyl pole over on the gate. Not that hard to see what needs to be done. I'm not even a fence expert and can see what needs to be done. Called the office and asked for the Owner Kevin Watson left a couple voicemails and he never returns calls. Have to take this to the next level. District Court here we come!

I absolutely loved working with Upright Fence this past year. I decided over the winter that I needed a new fence and immediately called them. Their staff was so professional and was out as soon as the ground thawed to put in my fence. It took about 2 days and I could not have been happier.

Very happy with Upright Fence. I had a small job, so small in fact that I was concerned it might be too small for them to do. I needed a new self-closing gate for an existing fence at a house that I recently moved into. The current gate would not close, and it was a safety issue because of my swimming pool. I called Upright Fence and spoke with a very nice person who promptly scheduled an estimate.

The estimate happened the next day and the representative from Upright Fence showed up at my house on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. The price was great so I ordered the new gate. It took a couple of weeks for the new gate to be installed because it needed to be custom made to fit my specific dimensions. The company kept me informed at every step. Upright Fence just installed the new gate last Saturday, which surprised me since the gate was done faster than I anticipated and it was a weekend.

The installation crew was professional and did a perfect job. And they cleaned up everything before they left. I have used Upright Fence several times over the years at different properties for a variety of different jobs, both large and small. Upright Fence has installed new fencing for me, repaired storm-damaged fencing on multiple occasions, and also provided maintenance. Each and every time, Upright Fence has done a great job for me. Upright Fence did an A+ job for me again this time, and I will use it again.

Called to request a quote. Lady on phone stated very busy and would have a salesman contact me. She asked could I email the dimensions. So I did and also included photos. Did not hear back, and after about 3 weeks I emailed her and said nobody had contacted me yet. And that if job was too small to please let me know so I could move on. Days later and still no response from her or sales. I'm in sales myself and this is VERY unprofessional! To not even respond to a request for quote? Looking elsewhere! You should too! A few years ago, I had a lovely vinyl fence installed. I loved it, and even recommended this company to others. The installation process went just fine. It was, however, this last year trying to get service under their 5-year warranty that has led me to this bad review.

I called several contractors and got many different quotes. Upright was by far the highest recommended and although slightly higher priced I definitely got what I paid for. The nearly 200ft privacy fence with gate looked better then I had hoped and when it comes to aesthetic projects around the house im extremely picky.

Nice place. Good prices. I needed a lifting latch for a double swing gate and they had the piece I needed when The Home Depot, Menards and Lowes did not. And they had it at a low reasonable price. Theirs was half the price of the place I first inquired at. Be forewarned though, they just instituted a $25 minimum charge for credit card payments. If they hadn't let that slide for me, I wouldn't have purchased there.

I think it's unreasonable to have such a minimum at such a small and specialized business that carries items under that minimum price. Overall though, very happy with the service.

So far everything has been perfect. Everyone has been very helpful and prompt! Couldnt be happier.

I am very happy with Upright Fence. There estimate was perfect, they explained the whole process and were honest in their estimate to install. They called a few days before they came out to install and did a very neat job with high quality.
