Accent Hardwood removed damaged hardwoods from my home and replaced them with new flooring. The installation was efficient and well done and the employees are beyond professional. They kept the home incredibly clean throughout the process, cleaning as they went and before they left again each day. They were polite, professional, on time, and considerate, even going above and beyond to get a squeak out of my subfloor that they noticed on their own. These folks take pride in their work and it shows in their workmanship. I hired them to refinish the floors in the house that belonged to my grandmother. They preserved the character of the floor which was very important to me, and applied a beautiful satin finish. I coordinated with Matt and Robert, who were very responsive and experts at communication. The work was done by Jeremy, and he was exceptional. They met their timeline, and the final cost was exactly what was expected.

The workers arrived when scheduled did a perfect job of matching our very old oak floors in two bedrooms, redid some staining on the molding when requested, and had a very helpful and pleasant moving company to shift furniture. Outstanding in all respects. We had a large project - full refinishing of the first floor of our house. This included much repair and replacement due to stains. 8 days in total. The Accent crew knows what they are doing and are the best in the triangle. They have separate crews for repair and for sealing and all are full time employees (not contractors) - both of which aren't always true for their competition.
They have the reputation as being the best - our neighbors have also used them and were very pleased. We had the job quoted by 3 other firms and I was surprised that their cost was competitive with the others.

Edit to add: Not super satisfied with the response I've gotten over an area of my damaged floor that I feel was well within the scope of "fix the damaged floor by my bathroom." See *after* pic below. I'm told they did work here, but I just don't see it and didn't get any further detail. Maybe make sure it's clear your expectations before paying anyone anything here.

Absolutely beautiful product from a company so easy to work with! From initial quote to final product we couldn't have been happier with our experience. We had many questions along the way when considering refinishing our red oak floors. The folks at Accent, specifically Robert, did an outstanding job presenting our options, pricing, and timeline. They said to was going to cost thousands more to tear up the under flooring. 3 months into our project we had to send all the flooring back. Then we found Accent Hardwood Flooring. We decided to change from carpet to hardwood flooring in our master bedroom and walk in closet. I contacted Accent Flooring ( Genie Smith). She came out to our house and evaluated our project. She had the work completed within 2 weeks. The floors our beautiful and match the flooring throughout our home. Professional, dependable, and talented.

We had Accent refinish our hardwood floors before we moved into a new. Although we noticed some splatter from the stain in various places, we did not realize the extent of the splatter and poor workmanship for some time, as most of it was hidden by furniture/shelving. Upon closer inspection, virtually every piece of baseboard or trim that is near floor or shoe molding that was stained, there was varnish splattered.
In some places, it's even on the walls. And in hard to see places, like underneath built-in shelving or in corners of closets, the work is much, much worse. We are now having to have all of our baseboards repainted. We contacted Accent about this and got nothing but a half-hearted one line apology.

I had a contractor use Accent to refinish my parquet floors and after they began to buckle (the owner) first response was I should complain to the contractor. I convinced her to at least see what she could do to help, with an additional $200 they came out and did some re gluing and nailed down some of the squares (not what I would call tlc).
