I own Citrus Heights Car Wash and was having problems getting support from our previous camera installer. We looked around and found Alert 360 and have been very satisfied with the quality of their cameras, NVRs, customer service and tech support. Anyone can sell you video cameras - but will they be there when you need support? With Alert 360, you'll receive a comprehensive support network.

From our initial sales contact with Andrew Kealaiki, to technical support and installation with Jim, Joey and Travis, everyone at Alert 360 has been very responsive, positive, professional and knowledgeable and helped us create an elaborate system of 31 cameras. Most importantly, their "after care" has been excellent! Whenever I've had a question or technical issue, I can easily get a hold of Andrew, who makes sure that someone gets back to me quickly. I would highly recommend Alert 360!

I listen to a daily consumer podcast show and on today's podcast I learned of a situation where this man had a security system through a monitoring service company that he went to cancel. Supposedly the monitoring company sent him an email to which he was to follow instructions on how to go about canceling his service but he never got an email. For about 6 months he was being charged for monitoring services that he never needed and when he found out the monitoring company said they can't refund him because he never answered the initial email.

They sent another email to which this time he got and was able to cancel but as for the months he no longer needed that service he STILL had to pay for the other "monitored" months. Well folks that was what exactly what happened to me with Alert 360! I canceled my service and was supposed to have received an email to do so. I never got an email and even had my internet provider (AT&T) go back an check but no email was found.

I had to end up paying about $40 a month for a 5 month period of monitoring services that I did not need. This is precisely the reason why I do not like giving my bank account out to someone like that to get auto-charged monthly! The person who hosts this podcast said "there are several monitoring companies out there that are just as crooked as that people they profess to watch out for!" I can't help wonder if that's what happened to me with Alert 360.

The podcast host also added 'never sign a contract to have your house monitored." Well, I'm happy to say that's what I now have; I'm with Simply Safe, there is NO contract and monitoring only costs 8 bucks a month! Apart form that cancelling is not a hassle either. Top that, Alert 360!

I just deleted my old review because I had given 4 stars instead of 5 only because there seemed to not be a way to add a couple of cameras without the requirement of another 3yr contract. I've been a satisfied customer for 6yrs and didn't feel I should have to start the 3yrs all over again. Since my post only a day ago, Drake resolved my issue & I will be getting my 2 cameras.

One happy camper here in Sonoma, CA! Many thank you's to DRAKE for resolving my issue. I would recommend this company! Efficient, friendly, prompt, clean, helpful & knowledgeable!

We have never had a security system before. Aaron, account manager assessed our house and recommended what we needed without adding extras that would just be over kill for us. Dillon, our installer was very pleasant, knowledgeable and explained the operation of the system quite well. All in all, we are very pleased with the service and we like that the system is locally monitored.

My sales rep, Garner, was very knowledge about the equipment and the process. He was not pushy about getting my business, but was informative and professional. Once I decided I wanted to move forward with this company, he was so fast and was able to get the technician out the next day to hook up my system! My technician, Joshua, was also very professional and knowledgeable in his trade.

The preexisting system ended up having a few issues but Joshua and his management were able to fix the issues with no problem and they really helped me out! I've been very pleased with this company, their work, and the operation of my system!

Great experience with Alert 360! Joel their tech came out today to trouble shoot our system, install a cellular dial up modem and a video doorbell. This guy really knows his business. He was very personable, knowledgeable and went over the top when it came to showing us how to work the new products. Kudos to Joel and Alert360 360!

THIS MATTER WAS RESOLVED TO OUR SATISFACTION BY DRAKE FROM SOCIAL MEDIA SO WE UPDATED OUR STARS IN THE REVIEW: we closed down one of our locations and cut all the power, internet, and phone lines and they continued to bill for 2 years without notifying us that they were not receiving any signal. they somehow convinced us that it was our fault for not sending in a cancellation request. this was from 2016-2018. now, in mayof 2020 we had to leave another location due to covid. we contacted them to upgrade services in one location and cancel location on another. a rep came to our office and we clarified everything we needed. upgrade one location and cancel the other. now its november 2020 and they'r still billing the location we communicated was closed. again trying to place the blame on us for not sending a letter. i explained the rep came to the office and we signed a new contract but their greedy motus operandum did not want to release the account and want to continue to charge us for another 30 days. still no monitoring, no contract, and this greedy company wants to pry money from long term customers during a global pandemic scenario.

The technician called before he started and provided an estimate when he would be here. Arrived a little before time which was great. He took care of what was needed for the call, checked what he did and made sure everything worked prior to leaving. He also wore a mask in the house which was very much appreciated, as we are older.

Blake is an Audi Tulsa customer of mine, so naturally I wanted to give him the first shot at our security business. After a comprehensive phone interview, he emailed an Alert360 bid. After reading poor reviews of competitors and glowing reviews for Alert360, it didn't make sense to look anywhere else. Pricing seemed very reasonable, and follow-up for scheduling was faster and better than expected. (I had to put them off a couple of days, so quick installation is a priority.) Jacob - what can I say?

He sent a message that he was on his way AND HE SHOWED UP ON TIME! That NEVER happens. He gave me a realistic time estimate for the installation and spent time answering questions about other coverage I wanted (fire protection). He adjusted my work order on the fly and had most of the parts on his truck. We added an extra motion-activated video camera to ensure coverage of our pool because of the design of the back patio. Hidden wiring was required and he tackled difficult access areas very creatively. Everything I was promised, including in-depth training, was delivered professionally. I have no doubt this was the right solution for protecting my family and property.

Upgraded my security system with cameras. Very nice system. Keenan the tech did a great job installing the system. I appreciate his hard work. Also Sandy new exactly what we needed. I have been to mention Bryan as well with his added expertise! Great team, thank you Alert 360!

Our videos keep getting paused and isn't catching anything we need! The first time we noticed was a month ago when my car was broken into and there was no video. We called and were told it was paused for getting so many videos. We have it on the lowest motion detection there is! So we didn't catch the people. Now we check again, it's paused! I checked it because two babies are missing in the neighborhood next to us and someone caught them on camera.

Well I have a camera and they were seen at a convenience store next two us so let me check. Our videos our paused! Last night a woman came to our house pretending to be def to get money. Nothing. All three of these events having our video could have been very helpful. But nope. By the way when my car was broken into A supervisor was suppose to call us back. That NEVER happened! This sucks.

Alert 360 in Roseville / North Highlands CA was awesome with the install of my security system. 2 guys came for initial appointment, and explained every detail including protecting areas I hadn't thought of. They set me up with the perfect system for my needs. The day of install, I expected a guy in a truck but instead got 3 trucks & 4 guys, each responsible for a different part of the system.

My consultant, Noah was also there. Thanks to Daniel & the crew for your patience, great work and pet-friendliness. I feel very safe and honestly sleep easier knowing this system is at work 24/7/365.

Horrible experience. With Covid-19 affecting us all, most companies are doing everything they can to help their customers so they can either retain them or insure the customer will come back after the pandemic is over, but not alert 360! I will be taking a massive pay cut so I needed to cancel service at least temporarily. When I called to cancel, they wanted me to pay for the rest of my contract.

How does that help?!?!? I had already fulfilled a 3 year contract and am 3 months into a contract that I was auto renewed for without my knowledge. They told me I initialed something stating this would happen 3 years ago! How am I supposed to remember that? When I complained they reduced my cancelation fee by $100, which would still have me paying 300 and something dollars! after speaking to a supervisor, they gave me a buyout option of $150 and said that was the best they could do!

Absolutely ridiculous, I didn't even realize I was under contract as I said above because I didn't know about the auto renewing contract deal. that's not a deal by the way! Then I get a call from "the office of the CEO" what ever that is, and they said they heard I wanted to cancel, I told them the story above and they said there was nothing they could do.

Well why did they call me then!?!?!? Instead of just taking a temporary break from them during covid-19. I'll be taking a permanent break from them. I'll never use them ever again, and I'll tell everyone I know never to use them. Any place I can find to leave a review, I'll be leaving this same review so I can get the word out that they don't care about you at all, they just want your money, even during Covid-19! Update: after seeing this review alert 360 called me and did a much better job working with me.

UPDATE: ALERT 360 defines "reasonable" as holding customers to a contract even when THEY CANNOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE SERVICE. As a consumer we are required to pay no matter what, and once they get your banking information they will just take money every chance they get. I had to close my bank account to stop these vultures from taking my $$$. As a provider their stance is they are not required to provide anything.

No service, no response to emails or messages, no resolution for the faulty equipment their company installed. In order to get the equipment in working order, they will apparently only come out once the new home owner signs another 5 year contract. Even though they've already taken my money for the next year of service. I told the new residents to stay as far away from this pathetic company as possible!

And you should too! Buyer BEWARE! I would give ALERT360 ZERO Stars if I could. I contracted with V3, who was bought out by Alert 360. Ever since the change, the service has been HORRIBLE. Faulty equipment and I am charged each time a tech comes out. They don't show up during the time frame given, and the issue was not resolved. They auto draft payment and Tamper alarms chronically go off at all hours. Dispatch dispatches sheriff on an unarmed system with a tamper and I am billed by the county.

Despite all of this, I have honored my commitment to the contract and pay each year in advance. Now I am moving and they do not provide services to our new area. I was told I have to find someone to take over the contract or they are going to immediately bill my account $779.88 for period 2/21/21-2/21/22 even though I JUST PAID $779.88 on 2/21/20 for period 2/21/20-2/21/21.

So I am expected to pay in a two month period for two years' worth of service that I am not even receiving. This is the most unethical, immoral, an malicious company I have ever done business with. Especially during this time of tension and uncertainty with the COVID-19 and multiple businesses shutting down, they have no problem taking over $1500 from my bank account knowing full well they will not be providing any service whatsoever.

They emailed confirming that they will terminate service 3/31/2020 but I am still responsible to pay through 2/21/22 for NOTHING and they took the first payment in advance and threatened to take the second payment immediately so I had to go close my bank account to stop them from stealing from me! UPDATE: I emailed Alert 360 back and they have been NON RESPONSIVE which prompted me to post this review on yelp.

And I was not worried about financial difficulty until they threatened to immediately draft another $779.88 from my account less than 30 days from their last payment. Their offer is to keep my money for NO SERVICES PROVIDED. And I never had a contract with Alert 360, my contract was with V3, a vendor who had morals and ethics. I am very sad that V3 was bought out by such a nasty company.

A reasonable basis for cancelling is the fact that this company Alert 360 CANNOT provide services to my home. Is it reasonable to pay for something I am not receiving? I also asked if they would continue to provide service to the new owner and tenant and they have not responded to that request. If I have to pay for service, then someone should at least receive service.

Because of how they have treated me, I don't even want their service on my home or anyone else's. This is pathetic. Or course they disagree with my narrative. They are incapable of doing anything. Including providing adequate service, reasonable response time, effective dispatching, or equipment that actually works. I was so silly to think they could actually admit there is a problem when they haven't been able to provide anything of value since they took over V3 yet I have kept my account current and paid for nothing since my alarm system hasn't even been activated in over 2 years and two separate points are on permanent bypass because after multiple attempts to get their tech to fix the problem, they failed at at that too, although they did draft my account for the trip charge.

So again, this company has chosen to keep my money and threaten to take more when they are fully aware that their service is failing. And they do not provide service in the area where I am moving. Somehow that's my fault from their perspective. People, this shows the level of unethical business practices. As I said, BUYER BEWARE! I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau.

So sad that these vultures care more about money than doing what's right or providing something of value. UPDATE: Now they are saying they want to offer service to the next homeowner. AFTER I received an email stating they would "Credit" me and when I wrote back confirming the refund, they have been non-responsive via email. This is what prompted me to utilize yelp in the first place.

When you decide to upgrade your windows, but doing so means that you have to re-alarm each window, you want Travis. Travis spent the entire afternoon out here getting our home secure again. Not only that, he was thoughtful about what he was doing and the cost that I the consumer was facing. He worked his magic and made the whole situation a positive for everyone.

On top of that, he was excellent with how mindful he was with the baby's nap and was sure to take care of her window first so she could rest and hold off on the loud testing until she was awake. Just a great tech and overall good person. The kind of tech you'd send to your mom, for sure. Thanks Travis, and thanks Alert 360 for sending him.

Great experience with CSG I'm happy I went with these guys. Great experience with technician, Jim, he did very clean work and was professional. My situation was abnormal and he handled it and took care of the alarm system. Also, recently had a great experience with Travis. Everything was working great but had a small issue with playback and he took care of it no problem.

Fast and easy. I am extremely happy they completely took over he The Alarm Guys accounts in regards to my system. It makes sense that TAG closed their Brentwood office. I am already recommending Alert 360 to everybody who asks and will continue to do so

I called Vik at central security needing a second panel ASAP. She schedule an appt for me the very next day. Travis the technician came out, he was so nice and professional. He set up every door and sensor in my house, so I knew what window or door was opened. First let me say I had canceled my alarm before contract was done because they could not accommodate me, I was a 5 year loyal customer.

My windows and doors were not assigned in a way it was easily known. When the batteries died it was a challenge to locate sensor. The technology of the system is monitored through a app where I can do everything from heat and air, door locks. When the alarm is set it automatically locks door. My kids have forgot to lock doors so this is a extra mind at ease. Thank you again Vik and Travis for a wonderful experience you have a lifer with me. Loyal until the end.

I would highly suggest finding a different security company to use. Currently renting a house that has a security system through Guardian. Called to turn the service off because we didn't feel the need to use it anymore. They made note of it in their system and said that the owner was the only one that could turn the service off, but that there was nothing else we needed to do and that they would be in touch with the owner.

They never contacted the owner, so the service didn't get turned off and the monthly charges continued which we weren't notified of. $154 in back charges were due. We called the alarm company and were told that there were several notes where we had called trying to get the service turned off and the issue resolved. The owner is the only one who can retrieve these notes, but when they called Guardian, they told the owner there was nothing in their system saying that we tried to cancel and that we never called.

Highly unprofessional, terrible customer service. Guardian doesn't want to be out $154 because someone on their side messed up so they lied to the owner and now we have to pay it. Run fast, run far.

Tina H. was extremely helpful in troubleshooting a system problem I had. She was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to share information about security systems. I mentioned that I needed to do some remodeling in the house and she said it would be easy for me to relocate my security panel. As a result I had Tina come back and do that additional work. She's the engineer I want on my job. I'm in customer service and Tina is the type of employee that I would love to have work with and for me. Central Security Group should never give her up.

I reviewed this company, made a complaint, then the "customer service" made a big deal about how much they care. I followed their instructions and emailed them my concerns. They did not respond to my questions and "countered" my review without speaking to me- claiming that their records don't show any service done to my system. We did make a complaint, I emailed them twice, they have replied neither time.

Now they are claiming that they just don't see it- BUT have not responded to the email they asked me to send. Here is the key- they are trying to show they care on a public platform like Yelp but can't be bothered to work with a customer on email or privately. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I was a 4 year customer for Guardian. The first year we had a carbon monoxide detector go out. They came to repair it. Didn't have the parts and disconnected it saying they would be back soon. Never returned despite repeated calls. We had multiple issues with the system but could never get assistance. Then we cancelled service. They declared we had a contract (we did a two year contract but they say it automatically renews annually). It mean despite their incompetence you owe for the year. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We tried to work with them but they refused to even assist.

Woman technician are very rare. I was very impressed with Tina. She is professional, courteous, patient with a senior citizen (myself) and explained to me what she was doing and how to avoid future mishaps with my alarm system. She made me feel very comfortable and I definitely would request for her to come back. Thank you!

I am so very happy with my EMG system. Had it installed in Sept of 2013. Bruce the salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. Felt very comfortable dealing with him. Installer also was super. I was dissatisfied with ADT system from the first day I had it installed. EMG system has worked great and the couple of times I accidentally set it off, EMG called my house within minutes.

Guardian has been a great company for us. They provide excellent service and are always very fast! They are not the cheapest in town, but they do a good job in staying on top of problems we have with equipment and are always courteous and respectful of our home. Their phone callbacks on alarms are fast and thorough!

I had the most horrible experience. I have a business and walked in with this awful, disturbing noise, echoing throughout my building. I called guardian and was told the problem is with my heat and air unit and not the alarm. called my heat guy and begged him to come right away as with this noise I can not do any business and have to shut down. he was nice enough to come and the problem was not with my heater. called back guardian and finally had my guy talk to them. long story short it took 4 calls, me paying a service call to heater guy, loosing two customers, being called a liar, threatening to cancel my business with them, for them to send a technician that same day. No I am not happy with them and would not recommend them to anyone.

Recently my house was broken into I have a security system but never turned it on I called my company out to have them take a look if everything is working right they sent out a technician named Jim Cassie he was so knowledgeable and professional I highly recommend if you need protection to call this company Jim Cassie is awesome

I have been with Guardian security for over 15 years and there have been some issues with my service of late. I just submitted my survey from the company addressing those issues and plan to give an accurate review on the outcome of those issues. They had a good thing going or I wouldn't have still been with them. Let's see if their survey really matters and I'll get back with you.the jury is out!

We had Tina as our installer and I can't say enough good things about her. Extremely knowledgeable and patient walking me through just the basic operation of my alarm system. I had a full house with my grandkids over and she didn't mind the chaos, interacted with the kids and was very personable. Awesome personality and knows what she's talking about.

WARNING for anyone using this company or thinking about using them I have a word of warning with elderly parents. My mother was talked into buy their security system on a 3 year contract, my mother's health had been declining and passed away within that year. My mother paid for all 3 years ahead of time and I cancelled her system soon after her death.

This company kept ALL of her money and did not refund the unused amount this is stealing and taking advantage of the elderly. I did file a complaint with the BBB and with the Attorney General. Food for thought.

Had problems at first with company when cameras wouldn't work after a year and a half installed. Talked to Justin, Supervisor who made sure my problem was taken care of and personally came out to make sure they worked. They installed a box to keep my cameras working and they have been working since 10/12/17 with no problem. I appreciate that they made the effort to correct the problem we were having.

Great customer service. Travis provided is with fantastic service today finding and fixing a number of issues we had been stacking up and waiting to correct until our schedules aligned. He was courteous, respectful to our home and knowledgeable with the systems. We're all back in action. I was receiving regular reminder calls from CSG with each person offering immediate help, we just couldn't accommodate the time until today!

When we get activations while away from home, they call us very quickly for a status of our well-being. While we can monitor they system through an iPhone app, it's really nice knowing that someone else has got our back.

There are many companies offering protection for homes. CSG stands out from all other companies I have used in the past. Their offerings of the latest security technology, 24/7/365 live monitoring, and damn attentive customer service make amazing investments in safety for you and yours. For those curious about pricing, CSG beat out even ADT's advertised sale prices. Research and see what works for you. CSG definitely works for me.

This is the notice I sent to Guardian to cancel my service. DO NOT ever use them! This notice is to inform you of my wish to cancel my service with you. I have been unhappy and dissatisfied with your service since the 5th week of activation. At that point the system started malfunctioning and sending false alarms resulting in my receiving several calls a day from your team and then them putting me on hold to transfer me to someone that could "help me".

I then found out that the service warranty had expired after 30 days. I do not believe it was a coincidence that the alarm started malfunctioning soon after the warranty expired. The system would then beep, randomly, for no reason causing us to have to get up, activate it, and then cancel the activation to get it to stop. This happened every single day and night for 2 months. Then, at the end of my rope and completely fed up with the poor customer service and the fact that you wanted to charge me to come out and repair faulty equipment that you installed in our house, I ripped the equipment out of my wall after being woken up in the middle of the night by the smoke detector going off.

This happened not once, but twice! Calling me and putting me on hold, installing faulty equipment, poor customer service, inability to cancel my contract by CALLING YOU AND HAVING TO WASTE TIME TYPING A LETTER, these are all reasons I am canceling my service. I will never recommend your company to any of my family or friends and I will be writing not one but several reviews about your company and your service on every web site I can locate that takes reviews.

I understand I am responsible for $439.40 towards my contract for early cancelation and I will gladly pay anything to be rid of you. However if you feel that your company and representatives could have handled this situation better by providing your monthly paying customer outstanding service I will gladly except a credit on the cancellation fee and any and all months for which I did not use your service.

Please make sure I am off every mailing list and email list as I do not ever want to hear from you or any representative with your company again unless you are informing me that you are in fact not going to charge me for canceling my service. As expected I received a bill today for $439.40. I made every attempt to contact Jimmy A. with no response back from him. Don't let their responses to the other bad reviews convince you they are a good company. They will not take care of your issues and charge you for unusable services. Good luck in your search for a reputable home monitoring company, I'm going with COX.

I just had a technician come out and rewire my alarm I had installed from a different company and he also replaced the battery! I wish I remembered his name but he did a great job and was super friendly! I would definitely recommend this company and I am happy they are taking care of my alarm needs!

Constant technical issues. Poor customer service. We'd been calling for months about sensor alerts. Different sensors would alert and they kept telling me to change the batteries. Finally I said "All the batteries have been changed" you need to send someone out. Finally, they sent a tech out and he found we needed a signal repeater installed.

Problem fixed. But then they charges us a $115 service charge. We had to call to get that removed. Also have constant issues with the cameras staying connected to the network but we don't have wi-fi issues with anything else. To me, it's a beating just having to call repeatedly to correct billing issues and technical issues and the hardware is not great quality and it's overpriced.

Guardian has the worst reviews and we're being treated horribly by their company. The customer service people are rude and ignorant. The supervisors, especially Eric have been dismissive, argumentative and completely lacking in any customer service etiquette. After originally posting this review I got several calls from a few different people who are employed to run interference, but no amount of kissing up will make up for Guardian's unethical and rude business practices. Just recently starting using this company. So far great customer service. Mark the consultant was very helpful and informative. Matt and Gabe were excellent initial installers. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I and my family all have had EMG for many years. Everyone there is fantastic from the salesman who always helps us all with our security questions and system design, the fast courteous operators who call us whenever our alarm goes off, the customer service that works so hard to schedule a skilled technician service call to our convenience.

Update to my original review- I did get a call from Lisa at corporate who was pleasant and seemed happy to resolve my issues. We reached an agreement that I could deal with. Though I was content after talking to Lisa I was genuinely impressed that about a week after speaking to Lisa I received a follow up call from another gentleman from the CEO office, can't remember his name, that was calling to ensure things were resolved and let me know that they were taking steps to address some of the concerns I raised.

As I stated earlier, I had Guardian for years and hadn't had a problem til now and though it started rough they earned two more stars from me for caring enough to follow up. Customer service is making the customer feel they are being heard & that their issue is important, apparently someone in the CEO office understands that. Hopefully they address some of the customer service rep issues they have but all in all after this experience I'd consider using them again.

Customer service does not get back to right away. When you call it's take several times Rings before someone answer the phone. And to reach service department leave a Message and hope they call back.

I have been a customer for 6 years now and I can't say enough good things about your company. Everyone there is very professional and thorough from start to finish. I have had alarm systems installed by your company in 2 homes. My townhouse was pre-wired, however I needed additional work done in order to get it ready for service.

My experience with emg at the moment is horrible. I just transferred my system to another location a few weeks ago. Since the new install one of the sensors keep tripping. Causing Emg to call at all hours of the night.

The alarm system is great, customer service not so much. After a power outage I was having difficulty getting the alarm to set. Two different representatives (Leslie and Angela) were rude and spoke down to me for no apparent reason.

EMG has been supportive and responsive. When I've had unusual events, they have always been able to resolve the issues or explain the problem (if resolution has occurred). Their prices are right and we are happy with EMG!

Had to have our alarm upgraded and were in a hurry. Installer Brian Chidester rearranged his scheduled to help us out and completed the work in about 1.5 hours. He trained us and was very knowledgeable and helpful. thank you.

We have been with EMG for about 7 years now. My mother and I both have accounts. After my father became ill 8 years ago, my mother did not feel safe living alone, so she started using your services. After I saw how much she liked it, I decided to get the service for myself. We always recommend your services to others that are thinking about an alarm service.

Had this company for years. I got tired of the continued rate hikes and switched to simplisafe, which doesn't have contracts. When I tried to cancel with guardian, they said I had to give them 30 days advance notice to cancel, and charged me for an additional month after that. I called and complained, but they said I signed a contact (over5 years ago) and that they must have advanced warning.

Interesting that the 'contract' allowed them to increase the price monthly without asking me first. I brought this up, and the rep immediately said he would talk with a supervisor. They refunded my 27 dollars. I would suggest going with another company.
