I had a solid wood custom made garage door installed a few years back. Last month I noticed that it started closing with one side still about an inch from the floor. I didn't want to let just anybody mess with this garage door because it was pretty expensive. I called Garage Doors inc. and Don came out to look at it. He gave it a thorough check up, then pulled out his tools and went to work.

He adjusted the rails and reset the springs. I don't know what all magic he did, but about 15 to 20 minutes later my garage door was closing perfectly. He then went further and sprayed lube on all the moving parts. It is so much quieter than it was before. These guys are the experts. I'm sure they do a great job on the standard door, but if you've got an expensive or custom made garage door, I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Last week the spring on our garage door snapped, dropping the door and trapping our cars inside. We quickly checked with a couple of local places; both had full schedules. One sent a technician out, who noted that the service clearances made it too difficult to replace the spring - we sent some phone photos to the second vendor, who said it looked too complicated, and didn't want to get involved.
