Complete Hardwood Floors

Called Andy...he came out and gave me an estimate. I explained to him that it was a tight timeline as I am selling my house and getting it ready to out on the market. We agreed on a start date and I asked him how much for the deposit. He said "Just give it to me the day we start." This was another sign I should have picked up on.

I should have known that any contractor not willing to take a deposit will likely flake or didn't want the job. I shot him an email to confirm we were still on for the planned start date and surprise surprise, he said he can't do the job. He fumbled around with his words and just settled on..."I am starting a new job and can't do it". I take that to mean he had a better opportunity come up and didn't give two shits.

He gave me a couple other guys to try...neither have called me back. My timeline is totally screwed at this point. I had a couple trades coming in after this...and they will probably be screwed too.

Andy...if you didn't want the job....DON'T BID THE JOB. Thanks for nothing but a headache!

My In-Laws found Andy and they got their white oak refinished. I didn't think those floors could be salvaged but he did an AMAZING job on those. We just bough an older home with hardwood floors that has been carpeted and after seeing the results of my in laws floors, I didn't hesitate and called Andy up to get an estimate. We also had white oak and we actually wanted a red tinted finish to our white oak which could be tricky but it turned out amazing! Thank you Andy for make it took flawless!

We hired Andy to refinish red oak floors and pull up a bedroom carpet to lay down new flooring. He was completely professional and there was no dust anywhere. He was patient with our back and forth decision to go with a water based finish instead of the more toxic Swedish, since we have two animals that would be more sensitive to the lingering fumes than us. We are very happy with the results! Andy is a class act and really knows his stuff.

Our dining room, living room, and kitchen floors were in such bad shape we wanted to get rid of them altogether but they convinced us not to. They made all the necessary repairs, stained them all a beautiful new color, and sealed them all to protect them from future damage!
