Bailey's Heating & Air

Bailey's did the air conditioning system for my new home in Salida. From the start there were problems. No AC in the upstairs, it felt like there was no return air going to the upstairs return filter. They did tests, even sent a man out to do a repair. I was busy at my work and couldn't be there that day, but the repair did not work. We argued back and forth, but Bailey's refused to do anything further to fix the problem.

I was told I'm just not use to a two story home, and that's the best it will get. Ok, so time goes on, several years of high AC bills and I had enough. It's time to upgrade and get a new system. I did not use Bailey's. But my new installer agreed with me that something was wrong. We tore the walls apart and discovered there was no return tube going to the upstairs vent, where the filter is.

Nothing there! And Bailey's knew it, the repair guy that came made a half hearted effort to funnel air through a wall, but this was a terrible install fallowed by a worse repair. So we tore open the wall, fed in a duct line and now I have AC upstair. My electric bill has dropped by $250 the first hot month of heavy use. I wish I could go back and sue them, this was negligence on a epic scale, by Bailey's, the Contractor, the inspector. I will have to settle for telling everyone the truth about their service.

Logan was very knowledgeable as well as polite. If you don't know anything about the hvac area this is the guy you want at your house no joke. It's good to feel and know that there are still some amazing ppl out there that even though there working there willing to help you understand everything about what you need to know. I dont know about but when someone know how to explain and the why.

I had Bailey's heating and air install my entire AC unit after I bought my home and discovered the AC unit with the home was no longer functioning. They were very professional and did a great job redoing my entire ducting and installing insulation as well. They have always done my maintenance on my unit and I discovered over the last few days my house would not cool off and I reached out to them this morning and they came out immediately to fix the issue and replace the part that was under warranty.

We used Bailey's for our complete system replacement in 2014, and for twice a year checkups/servicings every year thereafter. Excellent service all around. They keep in contact, answer questions and concerns promptly and sure as heck know their customers and business.

I have used Bailey'for years. They did a fantastic job of installing my central air and heat. My unit is on the roof. They even replaced the roofing tiles that were damaged by my old AC. The repaired area matched the roofing I already had perfectly. It looked like it was brand new. They have been servicing my heat and air ever since. They go over everything they do each time they come out.

They are very patient and answer all of my questions. Bailey's service is reasonably priced and they really work with you to fit appointments in with your schedule. They also call or text me to remind me when I'm due for servicing which I love. I trust them completely. I wish all companies gave such good service. They are wonderful.

I had Baileys replace our heat pump 15 years ago and have used them since. Recently as our unit is getting older we've had them come out for their biannual check up and repairs. Their techs are professional, polite and punctual. They explain what's happening and how they repaired it. I know eventually we'll have to replace our unit ( they don't last forever) but I know I can count on Bailey's to help keep it running until then.

Our furnace stopped working after power went out at the worst cold spell of the season, pg&e was unable to get it working again so I called Baileys heat &air.' they were able to get out to troubleshoot furnace that afternoon! They fixed the limit switch quickly and reestablished heat to our home. Thank you Alex Magana for being honest and trustworthy.

Courteous customer service from receptionist to technician. Technician arrived early, diagnosed, and repaired my heater that was pushing cold air. We use Bailey's for semiannual preventative maintenance. It's nice that they call to schedule without us having to keep track ourselves. The technician seems to know what he's doing and gives us a report is finished. They also have made several recommendations that have helped make our house more energy efficient.

Asked these guys to come and give me a quote for 2 HVAC systems. They where curious why both had gone out at once, asked what tests had been done by the other company that i used to use for maintenance. During the conversation it seemed Baileys did a bunch more testing so I agreed to have their tech guy out. Well short story these guys just saved me $20k+ and all they got was a service call and to be my new maintenance guys.

Not sure how much their HVAC quote would have been (got plenty more quotes) but a company that wants a long term customer over a one off rip off gets my business anyday. We just recently had to replace our 29 year old HVAC 7 ton unit for our home. We were pretty impressed with the owner, Mitch. He was very thorough in reviewing our needs and in his estimate for our new 5 ton unit. His installers were very friendly. Once the new unit was installed they returned a couple of times to test it and made sure everything worked ok.

I would for sure recommend Bailey's to whoever looking to replace their AC unit, furnace and / or the water heater unit. Their services were professional grade from the start to finish. They even left the work place clean and complete after the job is done. I am completely satisfied how the installation process went.

I've used their service for my real estate investment business for several years. Service, repairs, and system installation. I'll look for another provider now. The last repair was a contactor switch for $335, which is way over what the industry considers an appropriate charge. $30 part and the rest is all labor for about a one hour job at the most.

The technician was new and misdiagnosed the problem so a second technician had to be called in to help. Two guys for 6 hours and the bill obviously reflected the time which was passed on to me. I was also never contacted with the job estimate, only contacted with the whopping bill for their inexperience technician. Research yourself and ask other providers their cost before you let these guys come out. Trust me, this $335 job should have been between $150 to $200. By the way, this is only a five year old home with easy accessibility.

This is by far the best place to have take care of your HVAC needs! I called to have someone come look at my grandmother's heater that suddenly quit working. They were able to get a tech out within hours. He replaced the thermostat and had the heater up and running, and my grandma warm, within 30 minutes. My parents have had work done by them on their AC, and have had nothing but amazing service. The woman in the office was so kind and patient. Even after I canceled the appointment and then called to see if a tech was still free! You will not be disappointed.

IVE HAD SOME ISSUES! The life of a 10 year old dual HVAC system is always in question when you start hearing things "hum" in the night. Baileys has been my "go to". They have been supporting and managing my heat and air needs for sometime now. I haven't a clue who these people are that provide professionalism and clarity around what they fix. But they do it very well with honesty and the integrity I expect. Thanks Candy!

I have only fantastic things to say about Mitch Bailey and his heating & air conditioning business! Mr. Bailey came to our house, HIMSELF, to assess our needs and give us a quote for replacing our central heating & cooling units. (When was the last time you called a company for service and the OWNER came to your house?) Just that blew us away! And he didn't just give us one quote, he gave us three and explained the pros and cons of each.

We also had two other companies give us quotes, but we were sold on the professionalism of Bailey's. We were extremely pleased with the products he sold to us, the remarkable punctuality & cleanliness of his tech's work, and the consistent pleasantness/politeness/professionalism of his office staff. If you have a chance, stop by his business and ask to see the lab. Mitch is a scientist at heart, truly, and he can show you different styles of money-saving whole-house fans: how they work, the different noise levels, and how much money he can save you on your summer cooling bills.

Just awesome! Heating & air conditioning stuff is pricey, no doubt, but equally necessary. When we're paying for home improvement projects, we want to know we're paying for both quality products AND on-going professional service. Bottom line: there is no one else I would want to do heating and A/C business with!

I had a problem with my AC in summer. I called Bailey's. One person came and changed one of the capacitors and charged me $180. The problem was not fixed though. I called them the following day. Same person came back and cleaned some tubes and charged me another $180. He said the problem was fixed but the AC still didn't work. I called them again.

Two different technicians came and told me that the motor needed replacement. They agreed to adjust the $360 that I had already paid and installed a new motor. About 3 months after the motor was installed it started making loud noises. I called the company and reported the problem. They said that they would charge $75 to come and check. I argued that it didn't seem fair and since I got the new motor only three months ago, they should check it without charging me, but they didn't agreed. So now I have found another business to help me.

I used yelp to get a quote and Bailey's Air Heroes responded immediately saying they had a technician available to help during the busiest hot season in the valley. An appointment was scheduled for the following day. The technician, Jeff, called saying that he was running early and came to repair our unit. He fixed the unit, and checked all the fluids. He even fixed up some wires that were coming apart. He was finished in less than an hour. I would highly recommend Bailey's Air Heroes.

We had a new Trane 2.5T Packaged untit installed on the roof. Converted from Electric/propane 20 yr old unit to a new Electric/Electric unit. We also had all new and enlarged vents, ducting and returns installed. These guys are top notch. Sales - Alfredo was very informative, laid out all options and looked for and found all rebate possibilities. He also came by during installation to see how it was going.

Office - Great friendly and accurate communication. They handled all the rebate paperwork for us. Installation - Lee went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with every segment of the installation. Even when there were a couple bumps in the road he made sure no shortcuts were taken and that the job was done correctly. The pride and integrity was very evident. My elderly parents hired Bailey's to install a new central heating and air system. After numerous problems with the system Bailey's admitted that they installed the wrong size unit. They eventually installed the correct unit.
