Outstanding response time and customer service. Stuart is my tech and he is so knowledgeable and honest, it is refreshing. He respectfully advised me on my options and it was a great experience. Ive deleted all previous AC related numbers out of my phone because this is the company I want to use and I know I can count on in the future. TL;DR: Replaced a HVAC through ACE. Big shout out to Skylar, Caleb, Andrew and Tim for going above and beyond to provide the best customer experience. Goods: - Skylar coordinated with the management & install department to rush our install to next morning - otherwise we would have had no AC for 4 days. - Caleb and Andrew went beyond their scope to do the installation right - the furnace & evaporator coil dimensions were slightly different from the original plan but upon request, they installed the new system right without cutting corners. - Tim boosted the morale of the install crew during his field inspection.
Could be better: - ACE Home Services should consider re-evaluating their policy of 50% advance payment for a customer to get on the schedule. Several companies accept 100% payment after completion of the job, some accept 50% while starting the job and 50% at the completion of the job. In our case, we were decided upon ACE on Tuesday morning but couldn't get on their schedule until Wednesday evening while a new credit card was being rushed.

We had maintenance service of our air conditioner 2 days ago. We never had such a perfect service. We are very impressed by the technician Brandon Bates. He was highly professional, supportive, paying attention to details, just excellent. He discovered 3 cables, which were molten and could produce fire in the future. He saved our house from the danger to get fire in the future.

Technician was on time, respectful of my home and pets. Skylar diagnosed the air conditioning problem and offered three different tiered solutions. Even eased my mind about efficiency, quieter new unit, and bonus of increased home resale value! My new unit will be installed tomorrow morning, in the meantime Skylar injected my old system with Freon to keep us cool. Amazing experience 5 stars

I have used Ace for 5 years. They replaced my system initially when I first used them. They have always been very professional. I have had Billy Stringer as an on-site technician twice. He is very knowledgeable and a true professional. Being a technician myself in the heavy construction equipment industry I very much respect him for that. On top of his professional ability he is a good human being. Ace is lucky to have him. The fact that he has been there for so long tells you everything you need to know about the company he works for in Ace Home Services as well.

I moved into this residence 15 months ago. Getting ready for the second summer the a/c unit needed it's annual maintenance and checkup. I had read about Ace Home Service giving veterans a discount. I set up an appointment. The technician that did the service call was Daniel. He is a professional at his job. He explained everything he was doing and what was wrong with the unit.
The unit turned out to be 21 years old and had lots of problems and needed replace. He went over all available units that he could replace it with. Daniel was very honest on all units and did not try to sell us the most expensive one. He has very good customer service. He is a very big asset to your company and you are very lucky to have him as a technician. I do have to make a comment to the people who work in your office. We would just like to take a moment to think Ace home services for a recent call out for our air conditioning units. We placed a call to Ace because our air conditioning was not working correctly and they had a technician (Ron) come out on the same day we placed the call which was amazing. Every place else we called was not available to help us same day. Ron did an amazing job at helping us understand what was going on with our air-conditioning units he was very professional. Ron was able to replace the part we needed and to get us back cooling in the same visit. We really appreciate the quick response and professionalism that we received. We will use Ace again.

Stuart has serviced our home for the past 7 years and has been absolutely amazing. Always very quick to diagnose any of our concerns. I had a leak in my shower Friday and I called Ace. They were friendly over the phone and made my appointment for the same day which was nice. Later towards the day my wife called me and told me she wanted us to go to a birthday party. I immediately called Ace and asked if there was a better ETA on when the technician would arrive. I was told that they were set to arrive around the time I would have to leave my house to go to this party.
I asked them if we coulf reschedule for Saturday because of this and was told they absolutely could, they said they understood that sometimes plans change and that could have someone to my house between 9-1 Saturday. I was relieved because the water in my home was turned off due to the leak and I could wait an extra day. Now this is where my review turns into a 1 star. Saturday morning I get a phone call from Ace at around 9:30.
I answered the phone and was shocked to hear that my appointment will have to be pushed till Monday. Apparently they don't have plumbers work on weekends. I informed them that this appointment was rescheduled because of a change of plans I had Friday and that if I would've known that plumbers didn't work weekends, I would've kept my appointment Friday.
I also told them that I have 4 kids and that going without water for the whole weekend wasn't going to work. Very frustrating because I would've kept my appointment Friday if I would've known plumbers aren't available on weekends. I also don't understand how they can advertise on their website that they're available 24/7. It's alright though.
I ended up calling Parker & Sons and told them what happened. They sent someone out 2 hours later and repaired my shower. They even went above and beyond and cleared my drains for free and replaced the part for free after my supplied part wasn't working. They didn't break my bank and still provided me with the military discount.

Dan was on time and very professional and thorough. After cleaning and maintaining my system he spoke with me about the condition of my unit and how to keep it running effectively to meet my needs. He was informative without pressuring my to purchase plans or upgrades and even gave me time to confer with my husband, most places don't do that anymore! What a wonderful company to do business with. Our technician was concise, very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. After Dan gave us our options, we weighed the pros and cons, I knew I picked the right company to provide us the services. Also, ACE provided a text message with a picture of Dan, along with a short bio letting us know who would be walking into our house. I am very confident in ACE and will refer them to anyone looking for service. If we could, we'd adopt Dan! What a wonderful, caring person.

Buyer beware. Horrible customer service. We had taken 3 bids last year to replace our air conditioning unit. Our current unit was working but older. Ace came in and gave us the best bid. Work was completed quickly. After my last 2 encounters in the past year with Billy I called to complain. No one is calling back. I'm worried about this and if we have issues am I going to get the same run around.

Replaced my HVAC system in January 2021, just had the annual maintenance preformed by Don and I have to say he was very thorough. He had no problem with me hanging over his shoulder and explained everything so I would understand. I was very impressed with the install and annual service and would not hesitate to recommend Ace Home Services.

In edition to annual maintenance and duct cleaning, Billy installed a new UV air scrubber in our unit. Ace is a great company to work with. Reasonable prices, solid service and, very importantly, great people to work with. I have used ACE for years and have no plan or reason to change. Services: Clean ducts & vents, HVAC maintenance

The repair man was very nice. Knew what he was doing. We thought for changing the wax ring the price was very high for one half hour of work. But when you get to 80 and can't do it your self you have to pay. Was surprised when I made the appointment, I told the man I was gone between 10 and 12:30. He made the appointment for between 1 and 5, which was good.
There should be a place to write that I was not available between 10 to 12:30. At 11:35 there was a message that I should call that is something you can't do when you are in Church.

We called Ace to fix our AC. The first visit we were told it needed cleaning; we paid them to clean it. The second visit there were two issues; we paid to have those issues "fixed". The third time (still the same issue) we were told we would need to replace the unit. After spending $4500, we decided to have a second opinion, especially since the issue had never really been fixed.
Another company came out, replaced one part ($400 TOTAL) and 2 months later, still running like a champ. Don't waste your money--call another company besides these yahoos at Ace.

Ian is always personable, professional, and friendly. He greeted me and told me wanted he needed to do. Afterwards, he took the time to show me photos of what he found when inspecting my unit and gave me detailed explanation of what he found. I've been with ACE HOME SERVICES for two years and have always been treated with respect and kindness.

BE AWARE! This company is shady and unscrupulous. Zero stars if possible. Their warranty is garbage and you are better off paying someone else for repairs. Tried to convince us we needed a new AC (to replace our 8 yr old one) that they installed. Have gad nothing but issues with the new one they installed.

Despite repeated visits and ineffective attempts to solve my problem. I have a brand new Ace installed ac that struggles to keep my house at 80 degrees. They are very responsive at getting a tech to you. They just can't solve the problem. I have used them for years but never again. Management is totally unresponsive can't even get calls returned.

Don't call them! Scheduled a routine annual maintenance with coil cleaning. After 5 minutes the tech said the unit needed to be replaced and never finished the service. He spent plenty of time with the pitch to sell a 7500 new unit. I called a second company for a second opinion. My condenser pan was clogged - works great Should have been addressed with the annual service. Further, when I called for a refund on the service, they were condescending and I got banned from calling them again; F$%k these guys

Ace installed my A/C unit 10 years ago. I had several issues with the service but paid them what they asked. I was naive. Do to finances I skipped some service. They said my unit would malfunction soon. It didn't. This week was my last service visit by Ace. The tech said my coils were leaking and should be replaced. Also I had micro-spores that would make us sick eventually and I really needed a new unit.
My choices were $1500 to clean and patch for this summer or $3200 to add a different ultraviolet cleaner for better air quality or a new $10,000 unit. I said I needed a second opinion and the tech left. I got a second opinion today from a 5 star company who inspected my unit and said it was within spec and would be fine and there was nothing wrong with it. They charged me $70 for the house call. Be very aware of Ace air conditioning. Do your homework. Chose another company.

A few weeks back, I had a technician come out bc one of my AC units weren't working. The tech was a nice guy but clearly is working on how much he sells. He spent a ton of time at the house looking over the unit and creating quotes for new units and the repair. He pushed hard for us to get new units, basically making it sound like repairing possibly might not work and we'd be out that money anyway so might as well replace.

Scary experience with a tech. He was friendly and professional for the first 2 hours during a maintenance visit. But when he tried to upsell us on a maintenance agreement, he became belligerent when we said we weren't interested. His demeanor changed to a very angry person who did not want to take no for an answer. He told us we were "wrong" and irresponsible as home owners.
When my husband told him to leave, he started calling him names. He screamed at us all the way to his service vehicle. It was beyond rude. I've never experienced anything like that before.

During the first service call the technician (Skyler) determined that w/o a common wire, or battery-powered thermostat, he could not install the Honeywell smart thermostat I purchased, nor the Nest I purchased as an alternate for that matter. I can understand that. With his manager on his phone speaker the mgr. recommended an Ecobee. I was not charged for this service call, and a follow-up call was scheduled for 2 days later.
I must say I was pleased I wasn't initially charged, but fully expected to be. Promptly after this call concluded I purchased an Ecobee in preparation for the follow-up installation call. We were informed the service call would be between 11:00am - 1:00pm. At 12:53pm I received a text from ACE that Brandon was on his way. 1:00pm came and went and I soon called ACE and was informed he's on the roof.
Funny - since neither a service van nor ladder was present at the time. Near 2:00pm I called again and was informed he's 5 minutes out. After Brandon arrived he informed me his work order was for a maintenance vs. an installation call - while it was a thermostat installation call from the get-go. It appears he successfully installed my new thermostat at a charge of $300.00 which I paid.
I believe this to be an exorbitant charge for this service. I w/have expected no more than $200. He informed me that had I purchased my Ecobee from ACE I would've received a 5yr warranty on it. I think this was a missed opportunity by ACE. I w/have ordered from them had I been informed earlier - if just to save me the time. While ACE appeared capable of providing the needed service I'd feel hesitant using ACE again, or providing ACE as a referral. I feel there was poor communication, I was provided false information, believe the charge was excessive, and I did not get an overall feeling of confidence.

ACE just finished replacing 2 air conditioners and putting new insulation in my attic. From purchase through installation, the process was quick and easy. All of the ACE staff is professional and friendly. They took special effort to ensure to protected my home and left it in the same manner as when they started. I can't say enough good things about Sky and the other team members at ACE!

I used this company to install a new AC unit about 8 years ago. Fast forward to Aug 2020 when AZ was SUPER hot! Our AC went out. We called Ace out since they installed the new unit prior. We were charged almost 2k to fix the unit! We felt under pressure to get it fixed due to the heat, plus this was the company who installed the new unit, so we agreed to do the work. Afterwards I had questions regarding all the fees, but I have yet to receive a straight answer after numerous phone calls and emails.
I keep getting the run around. It's terrible customer service when you call a company and can't speak to a Supervisor to get answers. I WISH I used Yelp BEFORE I used them to install a new AC unit.

Use at your own risk. Tech (DANNY) showed up for routine HVAC maintenance, found there was a problem but he was "at a loss" to go any further. DANNY promised to have his office get in touch with Trane. After I received no follow up the next day as promised I called ACE and found that DANNY never reported that my unit needed service. WTH? This is my second (and last) "incident" with ACE Home Services and my experience both times was horrible.

I purchased my AC unit from Ace 10 years ago, this past Saturday my unit stopped working and I called Ace to come check it out. Senior Technician Skylar Lundburg arrived about 4 hours after calling, He very quickly informed me that my unit is just out of warranty and that I needed a new one. I knew this wasn't true and anticipated being told this before he even arrived, I sent him on his way after being charged $80 for nothing and immediately called Goettl They showed up within an hour and in less than an hour I was up and running. I will never use Ace again this company is just out to make the most money possible very dishonest I strongly recommend staying away from these people.

I wish we would have looked at the reviews first We were just priced gouged by this company The tech took less than 5 minutes to seal off a pipe Charged 395.00- unbelievable This job should have been 100-150 max They had us over a barrel because we couldn't turn on the water to the house without this pipe being fixed The part he installed was less than 10 dollars at Home Depot

Very likely the "WORST" decision I ever made was to hire this firm. They pay their techs for jobs only if they find something to work on and charge you for. We had a new A/C installed and the tech did not close the door properly on the unit which then rubbed up against a sensor, wore it out, and the A/C failed. Lots of money later. I turned them in to BBB but they faked their way through that and got by with screwing us. DO NOT, DO NOT do business with them.

I purchased an entire heating and AC system to replace an existing one about 4.5 years ago. It was not cheap, a bit over $9k, it came with a warranty and I even purchased an additional maintenance agreement. I have been happy with the system and the service.until today. Part of the system was to replace a ceiling mounted AC grille/vent. This grille is 40" x 20" and houses 2 20"x20" filters that are changed every month.
The grille swings open and closes using 2 clasps that are very cheaply made and about a year ago stopped holding the grille closed, it would slam open at any time of the day and the filters would fall out. After using duct tape to hold it shut for over a year, I decided to look into replacement. I reached out to Ace as it seemed the grille should be under the same warranty as the rest of the system. So, I left an e mail and I received a call.
No it was not under warranty. I asked the cost of a new one, just the grille, I can install. I was told the grille was $324.00. I almost fell off my chair. I had looked at them on line and the same model, by the same manufacturer, on various sites including Amazon was $96 with free shipping and no taxes. How outrageous can you be, how can you treat good customers with such contempt and gouge them with inflated prices, especially when the equipment they want to replace is that which you supplied during the installation process.
If you deal with Ace, be sure to look at the options that are available, do not believe what they tell you when it comes to the cost of equipment or parts. I am disappointed, I thought maybe they would be different.

I have to agree with the negative reviews unfortunately. Stay away for their service calls and stay away from their business. Yelp reviews are only superficial and I encourage others like I will to report ACE to the BBB. It's the only way they will practice honest business. We woke up to find water marks on the ceiling of our first floor. After scratching around I determined the water was leaking from our second floor 8 year old carrier unit.
I found a small crack on the condensate drip pan so we called for a quote. A repair guy shows up in a few hrs which was appreciated. He gave it a quick look and then Proceeded to tell us that we will need an completely new unit. I was perplexed buy this as the unit cools our house and runs great without a hitch. Hey but they will knock off 350.00 if we paid cash right then. Vague quotes are given to fix it but they would not give any real estimate other than to replace the unit and the condenser outside also 8 years old. Suspicious of this figure I said I would think about it. Later that day I fixed the crack with a small patch of epoxy and discovered that the condensate overflow line was clogged with sediment.
To think a clogged line and a small crack could have cost us this much money. On top of all this they tried to use the safety of our children in this heat in attempts to persuade us to purchase basically inferring neglect by not buying new. We have two ac units mind you. I'll admit this was a quick fix but a crack in a condensate drip pan and a clogged line does not mean you need a new unit. Please report to the BBB if you have the same experience. These people prey on the unsuspecting.

He gave it a quick look and then Proceeded to tell us that we will need an completely new unit. I was perplexed buy this as the unit cools our house and runs great without a hitch. Do NOT use this company. Our AC went out this week and we called them because they bought the company we previously used. The technician informed us our unit was going to cost $1600 to repair or $10,000 to replace. (They dropped the replacement to $8900) we decided endure the 108 temp for a night and shop around. Environmental Air looked at the unit the next day, diagnosed in 15 min and charged me a fraction of the originally quoted fee.
I posted an image on social media (attached here) and a friend said she had the same situation. This company is just trying to up-sell the customers. I've already spoken with management which was pointless so now I write this review to hopefully prevent others from being swindled. I'm also going to follow up with the BBB. To wrap up. This is NOT a reputable company!

My AC was out when I got home from work- I called Ace Home Services and they had someone out very quickly. Francisco L. was VERY professional and courteous, he took the time to explain what was going on with my unit and went thru the process of elimination to figure out what was wrong and now I am cooling.
