I just had an amazing pool makeover, entire pool decking, stairs and liner. Each and every AquaRama employee involved with my project was more than polite, professional and friendly. It was a pleasure to work with them. Everyone kept me informed and was never bothered by my curiosity and questions while they were working. The pool looks amazing, what a transformation! Thank you again.

UPDATE: One of the managers, Sandy, called me to do damage control after seeing my review. After someone magically making it out to clean our pool after being told no one was available, we were also magically put back on the schedule for Fridays like we were originally told. I was then asked repeatedly over multiple conversations (well practically bullied) to remove my review since the problem had been "rectified" and told that Aquarama would NOT be continuing services until my review was removed.
I explained to Sandy that I would be happy to do that once consistency in communication and reliability had been established. Sandy did not like my answer and consequently became irate, proceeding to talk over me and argue incessantly with my reasoning. Still very much do not recommend if this is how the company chooses to handle their business. I am attaching pictures of my pool's condition AFTER someone came on Monday to "clean". Horrible, horrible, horrible.

After our initial pool clean we were told someone would come weekly on Fridays for maintenance. This past Friday rolls around and no one shows up. I call Saturday to see what happened and was told that our ticket had been moved to Mondays without our knowledge.
I made it clear that our house was being professionally photographed on Monday to be put on the market later in the week so the cleaning would need to be completed before 11am. Was told this was not an issue - called Monday morning at 11am to confirm it was completed and was promptly told that the technician had called out sick "only an hour before" and there was nothing they could do.
I would have never found out this information had I not called myself and now we have a dirty pool prior to pictures being taken. DO NOT recommend if you expect timeliness and thorough communication from a business.

Recently purchased a home and the previous owners used this company. So we contacted them to do an orientation since we have never owned a pool before. The appointment was scheduled for Thursday and I received a text Thursday morning at 8:23 asking to reschedule due to them being behind because Of bad weather. I replied that we could reschedule for Friday as long as they were out by 2pm because we were leaving to go out of town.
She said she would put that on the ticket. I sent a confirmation text Friday morning and was told the technician would be here between 1 and 1:30. At 1:33 no show. I called and they said he was at least 30-45 mins away so we would need to reschedule again. Not a good look for a new client who has a pool and hot tub that we were going to use them for. Read the Yelp reviews. They seem more accurate that the reviews here on Google.

Check the Yelp reviews. The good Google reviews are probably fake. To clarify, my rating here is purely evaluating the business behind the service. I think their employees did a great job cleaning. HOWEVER, they have a policy of overbilling in sneaky ways. They pulled into my driveway at 11:53 and rang my bell at 11:57. They were done at 1:24 and dropped an invoice at my door at 1:32.
The invoice billed for 2hours, because it rounded up 1hr 45min (11:50 - 1:35). It's scam based on a lie, and all of this is on camera and timestamped. They were here for 1hr 39min and work for (at most) 1hr 27min. They're charging me an extra 33% for 18 minutes when they weren't actually working. I called them immediately to clear up the issue, and they stood by their billing practices.
Instead of fixing the bill, they attempted to distract me with other services. They started by offering free classes, which are obviously an in-person sales pitch for supplies and services. Then they started using the fear tactic that using someone else's filter sand is gross, trying to sell me on changing my sand. I was planning to do weekly maintenance with them, but now I can't stop thinking about how they're going to be scamming me each week. Congrats, you're missing out on $60/week, because you want to steal $70.

I am giving 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. I have never had such a horrible experience with a company before that I felt the need to post it online. I have tried since October 8, 2021 to have someone come out and look at my spa. I have made 12 - yes, 12 calls to them from Oct 8 to Dec 23rd and only received 2 calls back within that time frame.
I moved meetings and customers around in my own business waiting on a repair technician who never showed up on multiple occasions. No one ever called me to tell me he wasn't showing up. I was promised a technician on December 20th, today is January 5th. I'm still waiting. So, if you have nothing but unlimited time and fairytale dreams - feel free to give them a try. Otherwise, steer clear.

UPDATE: Ashely who is the Service Manager called me the evening I posted this review and left the store a voicemail. She apologized for the inconvenience and wanted to work on the resolution. Robert and coworker came the very next day in the morning and did a wonderful job cleaning the pool while it was raining. Ashley, Robert and the coworker who I didn't catch her name rectified and turned the customer service from negative to positive. THANK YOU Ashley, Robert and his female coworker for resolving this on a rainy Sunday! ---- If I was rating this business just for after effect of the pool cleaning service, I would give it a 4/5.

This is the 2ND TIME I was told by the store the service techs will be there between x time window. This is the 2ND TIME they didn't show and I left voicemail once again. I called this business because I needed help having my pool cleaned in time before pictures of the house were getting done before it gets listed.
The business knew this and told me it was written in my request. Now being pregnant I need to figure out how to clean my pool in 24 hrs! My pool vacuum broke and the part I needed was going to take weeks to come in and what's the point of buying a new vacuum $$$$ if this business had good ratings. I will never use this business again and recommend to the readers don't bother using this business if you need service techs to show up when their supposed to and for any special reasons/events.

My experience with Aqua Rama has always been great. Foxx pools installed our inground pool 20 years ago and have always been professional and able to always fulfill our needs. We purchased a Polaris pool vacuum this week and as always received great help in choosing the right one for our pool. The staff has always been knowledgeable in every case we have brought to them. I would recommend Aqua Rama for any and all of your pool or spa needs.

Excellent customer service! Aquarama was able to expedite servicing our pool after our previous pool company dropped all of it's clients with our particular contract type without our knowledge. Our pool thus unknowingly went without service for a long period and we are so grateful that the team stepped in to help so quickly (next day)! The techs that came out were extremely friendly and experienced (our tech has worked with the company for 15 yrs).
He was willing to take the time to explain their service plan and make additional suggestions. The office staff is also extremely helpful and courteous. This was not our experience with our previous provider, so it is not a current industry standard. After our first service, I sent a text the next morning regarding a concern and they sent out their tech within an hour, before they even opened.
I have an extremely medically fragile child who swims in our pool and it is paramount that is remains safe and impeccably clean. It's nice to have the peace of mind that an experienced professional is taking care of our water quality and keeping my vulnerable child safe.

While the 3rd Generation owner Ben did my pre-purchase inspection (he did a thorough job), that is where the good news ends. My Pentair chlorinator had a known issue (salt level readout) and after some persuasion, Peantair agreed to have a local company address the issue. AquaRama called to schedule a service appointment and Barry the technician showed up to replace the unit.
As I was observing the installation (which leaked even after he left) I noticed that he cut the cable slightly with his snips intentionally as if thought he was cutting the cable on the old salt cell so that it couldn't be resold or reused. Not believing what I just saw, I let him finish working. As you can see from the photos, he tried to hide the cut cable under the chlorinator and when I confronted Barry about the cut, he said he would just put some electrical tape on it.
I already knew that the copper cabling was exposed and I demanded a new chlorinator. After a few weeks the new cell was installed without issue. Barry messed up, he knew it, and he tried to cover up the fact that he almost rendered a brand new $800 chlorinator inoperative. If I wouldn't have been watching, no telling how long before the unit failed and I would have been scratching my head figuring out how the cable was partially severed (and getting someone to believe my story). Edit: I spoke with the Owner Ben regarding my review, he made note of the issue, apologized and said that he would use it as a "teaching moment" and counsel his employees.

Aquarama built us a fantastic unground Pebbletec finish pool and spa. It's better than I could have imagined. My wife had a lot of ideas and a good design concept l but Rob put his expertise to great use to really carve it out (pun intended). It's incredible! Christian and Barry have been servicing our pool weekly since construction was finished back in December.
They do a fantastic job, highly professional, and they're great guys. I highly recommend Aquarama for pool / spa service and if you're in the market for a pool I'd call these folks first instead of wasting your time talking to other companies. They're one of the longest standing pool companies in the country and they do great work! Thanks again Aquarama!

I can not explain how awesome this table is for my Big Green Egg. Leslie Frye put this beautiful stain and finish on my table that I paid for at such a low cost. Which I kind of feel guilty because I feel like the customer service she provided was exceptional and the tables look like they are worth over a granted.

Had a leak in pool behind pool light. The service tech asked me to drain pool that day and that he would be back the next day to patch it. He did not show the next day, I did not receive a phone call saying that he was not coming, I called the store and they said they would have him call, but he never did.

I used AquaRama recently to replace my pool liner and renovate the pool deck. They really strive to make their customer happy and I have found them to be very competent. As with most larger jobs like this, there were a few bumps in the road and the way they dealt with the issues is what makes them great to work with.
