How does a company with this kind of service stay in business? I called, no one answered, left a message and was assured I'd get a call back. Two days went by. No call. Called a couple of times in between and there was no answer. Decided to go in person. The opener I wanted wasn't in stock but was supposed to arrive the next day. She told me what the price would be.
The person took my number and said she'd call when they arrived. Three days later, no call. So, I called. No answer. I went in person. They had the opener I needed. I did get the opener and the price wasn't really very close to the original price quoted, but it was less, so OK. THIS PLACE NEEDS A NEW MANAGER ASAP. THIS IS A MANAGEMENT PROBLEM.

The Garage doors at my new home were installed by D&D. House is 3 years old. One of the doors was making a lot of noise when opening when they were under warranty, they came out and supposedly addressed the issue, I did not notice much change. I was pulling in the garage with my AMG a few days ago, as I started to pull in the garage seemed to come lose and slammed down on my hood and now I have a nice dent in it. Needless to say, I have another company coming out to assess the issue.

Absolutely the WORST customer service! They installed a Clopay premium impact door with a damaged panel. It has been almost a YEAR waiting for the replacement. First replacement was damaged; as they found out when I requested them to check it out prior to appt for install. So now waiting yet again for the replacement part. Updates from D&D.forget about it!
They don't call, update, respond readily to voicemails etc. I can't figure out how they are still in business! Thought the reviews were the odd person not being satisfied, now I see that the reviews are the norm!

Still waiting to hear back from D&D regarding a scheduled appointment from Monday (January 3, 2021). I was informed that my initial service appointment for December 29, 2021 needed to be rescheduled due to a technician calling out sick. I completely get the need to reschedule due to illness. What I am less understanding regarding is a technician failing to show up during the rescheduled service window, failing to contact me regarding the missed appointment, and the office failing to return my phone call from Monday more than 48 hours later regarding when the service call would be rescheduled. I should have trusted the other reviews that claimed similar problems.

We were told that our doors we ordered had a stucco appearance, not woodgrain. It was a new offering from Clopay. When they arrived, they had a truly hideous woodgrain appearance. The salesman came out and said there must be a mistake as they looked terrible. Later, he stated that Clopay told him that's what we ordered and we were stuck with them.
I would not recommend D and D as the only thing that matters is money and certainly not customer satisfaction. Take a look and see if you'd like these ugly doors on your new house?

After seeing the not so great reviews. I still went ahead and scheduled a service call. Technician never showed up. I called the office an hour after my time window and was told technician may be running late. So I waited and still no technician arrived. Office is now closed and never got a call to say no one will show up. I even left work early today. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.

This is the first time I ever wrote a review about a company. I called to schedule an appointment to have my Garage Door fixed. They were supposed to show up on Tuesday between 2-4pm. They never showed up or called. The next day I called them and they gave me an appointment for Thursday between 12-2pm. They never showed up. When I called them back they said they couldn't get a hold of the technician and wanted to set up another appointment. Their horrible reviews speaks for itself. You will see numerous reviews complaining about the same issue.

Lost a customer*******I'd rather go zero stars but not an option. I will not patronize this business again. They do not stand behind their word. I had them out because my pull cord broke while trying to open garage. When he arrived he said it was my spring. No problem I can deal with that. I asked him if he could replace cord because it is needed in emergencies.
He said that he would. It took almost 4 weeks to get the part. I had to call twice to see what the hold up was. I was told that someone would call me when it arrived. They did not, I ended up calling back and they finally scheduled me. This was back in December and January. He repaired the door but he did not replace the pull cord, I was working from home so I was not monitoring him and I just realized it this week.
I called and explained to the young lady and she said she would get someone back out to replace it, she said she was going to send someone that works the area so that he's not going out of the way. She never quoted me a service fee of any kind. She made it seem like he was just going to stop by on his usual route. When he arrived today he did no work until he stated that it wasn't under warranty which I knew.
The previous job cost me over $200 dollars, so I knew that and at the time my house was 3 years old. He then quoted me the price of $5 for the cord and a service fee of $99. I asked him how long it would take and he said 5 mins. I want to know why would you charge a possibly returning customer $99 for 5 mins? To me it's not worth losing that customer but if this is how you do business, I no longer want any part of it.
I will never use this company again. Even if I had to pay more, they won't receive my business because of the dishonesty. I know what he told me when he first came and then today he flat out lied about the conversation. Then I call to complain and all he cared to tell me was we do charge a $100 service for 5 mins of work..

Excellent service, unfortunately didn't catch his name. But he was early to the appointment. Gave me options of how he could fix my issue. Then quickly repaired it under the hour he said it would take. Very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend if you need any garage door installation or maintenance.

Will never use this company again. They did a lousy job fixing my garage. I've had numerous problems with my garage since installation, and the company refuses to take any responsibility for the work they performed. In 4 months I have not been able to get into my garage on 3 separate occasions. I had nothing wrong with my garage until these people jacked up my garage. I can't take out my trash, do laundry or anything else I need out of my garage.

I'm just going to leave this comment here so that your business understands the time sensitivity with responding to my complaint that I made today over the phone. Whoever was driving your truck in Winter garden at 4:30 today in vehicle 304 purposely tried to run me off the road at the intersection of Stony Brook parkway turning onto Avalon. you know exactly what you were trying to do purposely turning your vehicle into the lane so I couldn't turn in after cutting me off at the previous light.
I was probably moments away from having a child in my car at my daycare. I hope your business takes this complaint very seriously and responds accordingly. This person should not be doing business or representing your business and using your company vehicle as a weapon.

Well, I wanted to write this review so others do not get caught up in the mess that I have been. I ordered an expensive Clopay door from this company which I later noticed a small ding in the right hand corner near the bottom almost on the ground.(Keep in mind no paint was chipped etc) I notified the company who spent months sending different people out to get pictures.
They then told me the Salesman would have to come out. (Charlie) He was very absent minded, would forget to call and come by etc. I contacted Moe in Customer service and she tried to help but the saga continued. I finally told them after many months to send another rep out to talk to me. He advised that the Company nor Clopay the Manufacturer would cover my issue. It's terrible when the customer is left with a problem and neither the Manufacturer or the Company is willing to back the product and give the benefit of the doubt to the customer.
They agreed that they do not know if the installer caused it but still refuse to satisfy the customer.(Note: 1 man was trying to maneuver heavy panels which more than likely caused this damage or it came that way from the manufacturer.) Please do your homework when dealing with this company so you don't end up like me. There are many other Garage Companies to choose from so please take your time and do your due diligence.

Your better off paying a little bit more and having the piece of mind that the company and the manufacture care about you and their product. Ferdinand from D & D came out today to take care of a home warranty issue to add 3" screws to the frame that the garage door is attached to. As it turns out, this was not a garage door issue but rather a framing issue. The framers that the builder hired didn't do their job correctly & only installed 1 1/2" screws. Fortunately for me, Ferdinand not only changed out the shorter screws but also added extra to correct the framers work (or lack thereof).
I am extremely appreciative of Ferdinand going above and beyond to get my situation resolved. I would definitely recommend D & D for any garage door needs you have. They definitely go the extra mile! To bad my builder never did in building these condos.

Not impressed with the quality of service. Never received a confirmation call prior to the estimate or to the day of installation. Tech arrived 2 hrs late and gave excuses. Didn't take proper measurements beforehand so when the part was finally installed, it didn't fit. I got an uncomfortable sense of incompetence and lack of professionalism. Thankfully there was no charge since no repair was made.

Stay away from this company if you are able. Sadly we had our garage door openers installed by D & D as part of new construction and had no choice of vendor. The garage opener broke within a year and a half and they will not cover it under warranty. You would think a company wild stand behind their work and products with pride, but not D & D. If you have a choice use someone you can trust and rely on.

Just bought a new home in Sanford. Builder used D & D for the door, opener not included. Door was very easy to open manually and is of good, sturdy construction. Builder included a coupon for $25 off for opener w/installation. Tech came at time promised, was quick, courteous and professional. Would recommend them to anyone.
