Brandon was great. Very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. He not only fixed our ice maker, but he took the extra steps to insure we didn't have a repeat problem. I have used other home appliance repair companies in the Omaha/Lincoln area, and there is a definite difference in how they care about customers. I highly recommend Nebraska Home Appliance and Brandon.

Great folks to work with - from the scheduling, to the email reminders, links to see where you are in the work queue and excellent service when they arrive. Mark took the time to diagnose the problem, didn't try to upsell, was clear in the description of the problem and what was fixed. I know who I will call if any other appliance needs repair. On time and efficient. Very knowledgeable about my stove. Dillon explained how my home warranty would pay for my new one since parts were no longer available for my very old stove. Since my old one only had one working burner and a barely working oven just before the holidays, I appreciated how quickly I was able to get an appointment.

My new LG washing machine, because my water softener broke, and the resin leaked out, and stopped my washer from working! Ali from NHA came out and replaced the unit that caused it to stop working! all under warranty. He was the best repair person I've ever used! A really great company! I will use again for any appliance repair. Even the local office person, was very kind. Thanks

I love the great communication we received! They even moved our appointment up when they had an opening in our area. Our technician didn't hurry through the process but kept after the problem that three other guys tried to fix over the past 3 years but failed. We are hopeful that the ice maker on our Samsung is now fixed once and for all! We so appreciate the ease of scheduling and knowledgeable technician who took the time to find the problem!

I have an LG refrigerator that gave up on us. I called LG directly and the closest "authorized" service center was an hour away from Des Moines and wouldn't travel this far. I desperately called a dozen different places for service, they all said they wouldn't touch LG or they were over a week out.just to assess the problem. Nevermind ordering parts.
I called Nebraska Home Appliance repair (NO affiliation with Furniture Mart). They had an opening within a few days. I accepted and agreed to be on call for any cancellations. Received a confirmation email the day before and then a call later that day saying they had an opening. Mike and Alex showed up promptly. Mike knew the problem just by hearing the fridge running sounds. Confirmed his intuition and went to the van to get the correct part which he had preloaded in anticipation of my issue.
He spoke with my home warranty company regarding my problem (other repair companies said they would NOT deal with a home warranty company). Buttoned the system up and slid it back home. Now I just have to contact LG to get these guys on the "authorized" list. And Yes!, Nebraska Home Appliance Repair is in Des Moines!

I appreciate the rapid response from Nebraska Home Appliance (NHA) to my repair inquiry on their website, which was the next day (after I submitted on their website the previous evening). Someone from NHA called me the next day to set up an appointment for the following day (this was not an emergency repair). I also appreciated that the NHA Technician, Derek, both called and texted me as I had requested about his impending arrival at our house.
I am currently working from home, so the heads-up was helpful. Once he arrived, Derek was extremely friendly, professional, efficient, and effective in diagnosing and fixing our refrigerator water leak problem. Would not hesitate to return to Derek or Nebraska Home Appliance for any future appliance repair needs.

Had a Dryer on the fritz after almost 9 years of service. Called Nebraska Home Appliance and scheduled them to work on the dryer, as well as check a drain hose on the washer. Our repair man, Mark, was very friendly and gave us a well worth it estimate for repairs. Could change the drain hose and the part for the dryer would be available the following Monday (it was friday that he came to give the estimate).
Also besides replacing the drain hose, he noticed the tall drain the hose runs into appeared to be clogged and asked if we need a plumber referral. We rent, and he gave us an invoice that had great detail of what needed to be done. In addition, Mark also went as far as wearing booties over his shoes as to not track grime over the carpet. I would highly recommend Nebraska Home Appliance if there are repairs that are over your head, because they know you need something affordable and done in a timely manner, done right the first time.

GE dishwasher was out of order and the kids were getting tired of in engaging social dishwashing hour so it was time to call in Nebraska Home Appliance. They have serviced our washer machine in the past at a reasonable price with great Cust care. Please note that I'm a DIY where it makes sense. Derek arrived and was personable, respectful, and stayed on task to address the dishwasher in a timely manner while holding a great conversation. I will use again and recommend.

A Nebraska Home Appliance "Technician" came out and charged $101.00--what did he do? Well, he told me the dishwasher "control panel" was not working and, "Unfortunately they are not being made anymore and you can't get a replacement". No, you can't return any of the parts you already bought. (almost $300 worth) He suggested several other better made dishwashers.
After he left the house and before he drove away I found several stores on the internet that would send me a new control panel for my dishwasher. He didn't put the cover of the dishwasher back on he didn't clean up the dirt and dust under the dishwasher. He did call later after I called his manager to tell me he found a part. The part he found was more expensive than the one I found.
He could not install the one I found (from the manufacturer) because it wasn't "certified" He didn't know when he could install it because "Ebay is unpredictable". If some appliance breaks down in your house, don't call Nebraska Home Appliance. If they treat you like they treated me they will charge you $101 to tell you your appliance is broken and can't be fixed. After having a bad experience with another company I was on the fence about ever repairing anything again. I am sure glad I found Nebraska Home Appliance. Its better for the environment, and your budget to buy quality up front and fix what you have. The tech (Jake) was on time, polite, knowledgeable and thorough. Found all the problems and now my dryer is running good as new. I will be using these guys for all my future repair needs.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment online to have my Whirlpool brand dishwasher checked out. The technician Jake was prompt and very professional. After a minor fix, he was on his way to the next call. The service call was about $90 but there's a 30-day warranty in case anything should go wrong with it again in the next month. I felt confident in their work and would use their service again in the future.

My dishwasher started leaking and my normal repair man wasn't able to come over. He recommended Nebraska home appliance. From the moment I went to the website and did online scheduling to the minute the technician arrived at my house, I knew what was happening every step of the way. Their communication was deliberate and timely and their technicians are extremely knowledgeable and certified in almost every appliance brand out there. Had a problem with a dryer. They called before arriving and the service person was fast and efficient. He took apart the machine quickly, diagnosed the problem within 15 min, and had the parts with him on the truck. He gave me a quote beforehand on the repair and completed it in short order. I don't have much to compare service prices with, but we had frank discussions on when is it best to repair a machine and when to buy a new one. Also which brands were best for future purchase. Overall a good experience.

Our washer was making an awful grinding noise and we had Nebraska Home Appliance come and take a look to see if it was worth trying to repair. I feel they gave us an honest opinion and estimate. Repairs would have cost $319.93 so we decided (and the technician recommended) to just buy a new one for only like $100.00 more so we would have a brand new machine.(Our machine is about 7 years old) We called on a Friday to set up an appointment and they were able to get someone out here by Tuesday.
I was pleased with how quickly they were able to schedule service. I received an automated call saying the technician was finishing up the previous job and would be there shortly and he showed up soon after. If we ever have to have anything repaired again I will definitely be giving them a call.

If you want honest service from a local company to make repairs to your refrigerator, I highly recommend this team of professionals. Mike Marnik, is the certified technician, that helped with replacing my LG refrigerator compressor. It my worst fear as a homeowner to come across a scam artist, but when you get someone honest like this, you can't help but to write a good review.
He got the job done in a timely manner, he was kind, professional, and didn't add any problems to the list of possibilities that could be wrong with my LG appliance. Thank you, Mike and Nebraska Home Appliance, for all of your hard work. I will be using in the future.

We had Nebraska Home Appliance out to our home to service our ice maker back in November. They came out 3 times before they finally replaced it. It still never worked correctly and finally shattered and broke this May. When I called the company, the manager stated that they only guarantee the ice maker for 30 days. Good to know you may need to buy ice makers every month!
This isn't the first issue we have had with this company. I have taken off work several times and left to be screwed out of a working ice maker! 0 stars! I'm sure you can get better customer service elsewhere!
