I can't say enough about this company & their staff! From the welcoming sound of Stephanie's voice on the phone, to the professionalism of Cody who has installed a hot water heater and sump pump at my house this year. They are outstanding! Stephanie goes above and beyond to be helpful in every way possible. Cody has been professional, arrived efficiently, explaining details well & works efficiently & quietly. My home has been respected by all employees & the work space is left clean. This is the plumbing company I will continue to work with!

I had them do warranty work almost a year ago and I thought the part was bad. Called to see if it was under warranty and it was not. They called me back explained this and as I was on the phone with the nice lady she says hold please. Gets back on and said owner called verified I had power vent they came out next day cleaned it for me and my hot water tank works again. Thank you.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This company worked well with the home warranty I had to not fix anything I had wrong. They decided to say my issue was due to faulty installation but they were just told to lie so the warranty company doesn't have to pay for any repairs. I will never call or recommend this company ever.

Our home warranty company sent Miller Raney plumbing to our home to fix a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Experience was overall horrible and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. The tech wore no shoe coverings and broke my Scentsy warmer and did not tell us (we saw after he left that he had cracked it in half and tried to put it back together).
We had access to the repair needed through the attic, but he chose to cut a hole in the bathroom ceiling instead. Without telling us first. We only found out as he left and said “Sorry about the hole in the ceiling”. The company said they would not repair holes created as needed for access to a repair. They said that they only cut into the ceiling as an absolute last resort, so the tech must have had a good reason.
But we had access through the attic, so this was not needed. When questioned, the tech said the reason it was “necessary” was because he was too big to fit into the attic access. He did not even look at the attic access once! Even so, the next logical step would be to get a different guy who could do the repair the proper way. Instead, he cut away the ceiling and left the dust and dirt all over my bathroom floor.
We were left with a gaping hole in the ceiling that was our responsibility to fix solely because this guy figured he would be too big to get into the attic (without even looking at the attic!). I talked to many people at the company, including the owner, about how I felt that this was unfair. There was attic access that he chose not to consider, so now I have to pay who knows what to get my drywall fixed.
It was entirely unnecessary damage! They never tried to understand or work with me, it was all “You can’t prove he didn’t try the attic. You can’t prove that he left a mess.” The company’s final response after that was “We have determined that we are no longer a part of this issue.” To top it all off, the leak came back not even a week later.
Horrible in-home etiquette, horrible customer service, overall horrible experience!

Unprofessional and incompetent. The office manager likes to argue and won't listen to you or let you talk. The plumber was rude and condescending and did not fix my original problem. Another plumber had to be called out two months later to fix what this Miller-Ranney plumber did not fix. They are not welcome in my home.

Exceeded my high expectations! We needed our water service line replaced. They showed up on time, were friendly and informative, and cleaned up so well I could barely tell they were here. Definitely the best condition I have EVER seen a plumbing company leave a yard after digging two holes with a backhoe. I couldn't find anything to straighten after they left! Spread some grass seed and I'm done. CAN'T BE HAPPIER!

We've done business with you for 15+ years, but no more. Our last transaction we were charged for a garbage disposal without giving prior approval for the repair. We called them to repair a leaky sink at our rental property. No call from them about needing to replace the disposal, which we were charged over $200 for something that we would pay $110 at Home Depot. AND, we already had a replacement disposal on site for emergencies.
If they would have called, they could have used that one and saved us $200. When we called about the bill, we were told that they never call about the repair before doing it. We can't afford to do business this way. Good thing there wasn't a crack in the sink because who knows how much they would have charged to replace that.with no call. Very disappointing.

I just bought my first house. There was a problem with our bathtub that one of the plumbers came out to fix. However they created a much bigger problem which caused a leak. They never came back to fix it. We hired another company who fixed the problem, but we were left with extensive water damage. This company has never returned any of my phone calls, nor has come out to see the damage caused to my new house. I will remove this review if the company fixes the water damage to both the wall and floor of my bathroom.

Miller Ranney is great! We recently moved into our home and have had several issues. Miller-Ranney is the company that has been contacted through our ABC Home Warranty. They have had to replace our sump pump and our sewage ejector pump. Each time they have come to our home, they have been great. They will definitely be our official plumbing company to contact with any plumbing issues. So professional. Really great and trustworthy.

I feel the one star this company is receiving from me is much more than they deserve, but unfortunately this will not allow me to do 0 stars. I had a leak under my sink, it was not a terrible leak, which is good since it took them a week to send a technician out, but it was covered by my home warranty so I didn't have a choice but to wait. When the technician finally arrived, he "fixed" the problem under the sink and went on his way, but that evening when I went to run my dishwasher, it didn't drain.
I assumed it was a problem with the dishwasher so I did some investigating only to find that when I disconnected the dishwasher drain hose that it drained with no problem, so clearly it was a problem with the drain pipe that the technician "fixed". I called the next business day and told them what was going on and they sent the same tech out again, who just said "it wasn't anything I did, your dishwasher is broken".
Now I have to wait for the appliance repair person to come out and tell me there is nothing wrong with my dishwasher only to have to wait for the home warranty company to send out another plumber to fix the problem this moron caused to begin with. Oh did I mention I still have a leak under the sink

Since purchasing and restoring an 1890 Victorian home 25 years ago, we have worked with a variety of contractors on many home repair projects. Some of those experiences were good, a few were great and a few were disappointing. Our recent selection of Miller Ranney Cantrell Plumbing to repair a major sewer drain problem however was one of the best contractor experiences we have ever had.
From our initial meeting with co-owner Mark Cantrell who clearly explained the proposal and steps needed to correct the problem to cleaning up the yard afterward, the entire project went smoothly and with almost no disruption to our family. Everyone on the crew was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, hard working, and clearly wanted to do the best job possible for us.
Even with a large project involving five workers and a giant backhoe, when finished the cleanup was done so well it was hard to tell anyone had been here. Our experience with Miller Ranney Cantrell Plumbing was one of the best contractor decisions we have ever made. We will definitely use them again for any plumbing projects and will highly recommend them to friends and family.
