Golden Shine

It is my pleasure to recommend Golden Shine Cleaning Agency Services to anyone who appreciates good old fashioned service, integrity and professionalism. Tony and Veronica are not only great at their job, they are warm and caring individuals. They are always cheerful and they go above and beyond to make sure that I am happy with the work. It's refreshing to find a company that really wants to provide quality service.

Extremely disappointing cleaning job and equally disappointing customer service. We contacted Golden Shine for a standard move-out deep cleaning, but when they sent their independent contractors out, they left the house visibly dirty. When the landlord went to the house, there was dust on window sills and hand prints on the floor. The master bedroom did not appear to have been cleaned at all.

The cleaners were supposed to contact us if they needed more time, so Golden Shine's contractors (they don't actually do any cleaning--they just hire the job out to people) apparently thought this was sufficient. When we contacted Golden Shine about these issues, we were initially told that the cleaners were out of town and could not be back around 8pm the next day (as per their "Fix-It" policy).

That time frame was unacceptable, as new residents were moving into the property. Based on that information, the landlord cleaned the areas that Golden Shine's contractor didn't manage to get to. After the landlord had already started cleaning up after Golden Shine, we were contacted and told that the contractor could actually come by 12pm. We of course told them not to bother since the residence had already been cleaned.

Golden Shine's management is now using this bait and switch to deny us a partial refund because "the Fix-It service was declined." The management (who writes the policy) is unwilling to issue a partial refund for the partial work performed by their contractors. They are ultimately unwilling to deviate from a policy, even going so far as to offer a Fix-It opportunity after we had already informed them that the landlord would have to clean it themselves.

This fix-it was offered seemingly only so that we would decline it, thus cementing Golden Shine's denial of any sort of refund due to their convoluted policy. The manager (who informed me that only the owner supervises them, and that the owner was "hands off") was unwilling to issue a refund even though their contractor failed to complete the contracted work.

Look elsewhere for cleaning services--even for folks with good reviews, there is no guarantee that you will get the same cleaners because Golden Shine contracts out to the lowest bidder. If/When your home is unacceptably "cleaned, " the company will do nothing in order to make it right.

Terrible organization on all fronts. I'm reporting this as an owner of an apartment unit requesting a move-out cleaning job and am on the verge of pressing charges. Requested cleaning remotely, with a friend doing a before and after check with pictures. 1.) Scheduled a cleaning 1 week prior, they confirmed the cleaning, but then on the day of the cleaning they forgot about the appointment.

The person who I spoke with on the phone, was not responsive during this whole ordeal. 2.) Cleaner came late even after rescheduling, on top of that, directions I gave to get into my unit weren't properly conveyed to the cleaner. 3.) Cleaner purportedly spent from 4pm to 2am cleaning a 2bedroom/2bath, 1200sqft unit, yet carpets in both bedrooms weren't properly vacuumed, showers and baths were untouched, baseboards untouched, and living room wood floors not dusted. 4.) Cleaner took items from my home that I specifically asked her not to take.

She had mentioned that she would finish up the bathrooms on the second day, and blatantly lied to my face when I asked her why they still weren't clean, telling me she didn't have permission to go into my unit. Somehow, she still went into the unit that day and took a room divider. Overall, horrible, horrible company. My only explanation for the 4 stars is fake reviews.

Shironi arrived on time was very pleasant, and polite. Her cleaning was thorough, I asked her to do specific things and she even had time to do some extra things for me. Very good value for money I would recommend her.

Absolutely the worst cleaning service. We used their at our home in Southern California. We purchased a 5.5 hr deep clean by 2 cleaning agents for one of our rental properties. Our first problem was when we got a call the evening before that only one of the cleaning agents would come to clean as the other one got sick.

Just had my exterior windows cleaned by Golden Shine on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. The overall experience was "okay, " but they probably would have gained an extra star or two if the cleaner had taken the time to actually clean our screens. With soot and dirt from the recent fires, the screens should have been removed and rinsed/washed. Instead, the cleaner simply wiped across the screens with a damp cloth.leaving dirt on the screens and the screen frames.

I've used Golden Shine on 3 previous occasions and was pleased with their service. Left word with Golden Shine today (about the dirty screens), and will update this review if and when I hear back from them.

Every time I have contacted Golden Shine Cleaning I've been impressed by their excellent customer service and their ability to handle large amounts of work even on short notice. You can tell they have an quality team and a I can only imagine they must have a high-tech backend to keep everything so organized. Its like they took the stone-age service of cleaning and modernized it for a new century.

The website is informative and their blog is always interesting. Plus they do green cleaning which is very important to me! In short, it's a good group of people doing a great service in San Diego and it would be foolish not to use them.

Golden Shine is wonderful! I have nothing but positive things to say about their service. They were very prompt in getting me a quote, booking an appointment was simple. I felt very comfortable with Tori, who came to clean. She was very nice and did everything I asked. I will definitely use Golden Shine again and again, and will recommend them to all my friends and family. I heard their "move out" cleaning service was great as well!

I was looking for a cleaning service because I live with the three little pigs(true story). My roommates are beyond messy and with my busy schedule I was finding it difficult to keep up with up-keeping our large house. I'm not sure why it took me so long to decide to hire a cleaning agency, but once I did I can honestly say I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

Golden shine is not only affordable, but they are professional and courteous as well. I had to leave midway during my first house cleaning but I was able to work out details so the housekeeper could come back later. Also, there was a slight misunderstanding on timing(my fault) but after calling Golden Shine they were quick to work with my schedule and accommodate my request.

I've had a couple different housekeepers so far, but I will be sticking with Maria. She is incredibly efficient with a great eye for detail, my house never looked so good. Honestly she went above and beyond what I expected and even took the time to reorganize my disaster of a kitchen. I am very pleased with the service I had and I will continue to use this company.

A friend recommended Golden Shine to me a few months back. I was looking for a cleaning service and thought to give them a try. They did not disappoint. The initial contact was very pleasant. They scheduled me for the next day, and were very detailed in noting any particular concerns or items I wanted cleaned in a specific way. When the housekeepers showed up they were on time, and didn't waste any time getting started.

They were detailed and thorough, but also very efficient with their time. I have already scheduled a cleaning for next month. When you find a cleaning service that does a good job, you stick with them!

My husband and I own several rental properties. We recently hired Golden Shine to handle both a move-out and move-in cleaning. They did great on both gigs. In the move out they took longer than originally quoted, a half hour longer, which I was initially going to dispute with them. But when I called their owner (Angie, I think) told me that the girls had found some spills in the deep corner kitchen cabinets, and that's what took them longer. As a landlord, I can certainly appreciate them taking a bit longer so that future renters will not complain about a hidden mess. Good job, Golden Shine!

BEST SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY. Cleaned my 3 bed, 2 bath condo better than I had asked for. Starting with the friendly and helpful customer service. Then the on-time personnel: well-dressed and mannered, with the right equipment and high quality cleaning products compared to what I have seen others use. The lady finished the job quicker than I had thought, and did a better job than I had expected. Things that I didn't want moved or changed around were left in their place, but clean nonetheless. All-in-all the best service one can find. I'm already recommending to my neighbors and friends. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GOLDEN SHINE
