I got a water leakage behind the kitchen wall, pretty bad. I found West Coast Restoration & Cleaning on Yelp based on reviews, I am glad I did that. Not only service was excellent, Albert and his folks started working on the damage same day I called. the most thing I like is that they helped me handle the paper works to send to insurance, there was no back and forth, 1 time sending all papers and it was all done. I received the reimbursement from insurance without any problem. The damage was fix smoothly and nicely.

After a relatively heavy rainy season (for San Diego) we noticed a patch of discolored drywall and contacted West Coast Restoration describing the problem. They had us send pictures and then scheduled to inspect the damage. Albert was amazing, thoroughly inspecting and using equipment to detect moisture levels in the wall and patient and able to answer our questions! We are completely satisfied and plan on contacting West Coast Restoration for any water damage restoration we need in the future!

West Coast restoration and cleaning came out after another company completely botched our mitigation. Nathan Raymond showed up two days after we contacted him to check out our unit. To our surprise, he found the floors were still wet and because the first company didn't do the job properly, we had mold too. He let us know how the project would go and what to expect when it came to our insurance company and their payments.
He was professional and answered all of our questions, never making us feel like we needed to rush. He and his team completed the mitigation and helped us navigate the previous company's charges to our insurance. We had questions about their job and he was quick to email and call us to make sure we understood everything. We were happy to have found him and his company.

This is a hard one to review. I had a small leak, 2-3 gallons, on to my neighbors ceiling. Called the guys at restoration & cleaning. They were responsive, fast, and courteous. They gave me some flexible options for getting an estimate. Technician showed up on time, was professional, explained the process in detail, and gave me a no bullshit assessment that was right around where I thought it was going to be in terms of price.
I was ready to hire them on for work. Then. nothing? No official estimate. No further contact. I sent an email, called, and sent a text to re-establish contact but received no response. I guess they don't need the work. Would have been a first round 5 star rating for sure if the work matched the service to this point. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume I just fell through the cracks. 4 stars.

Nathan went above and beyond for my husband and I. We were dealing with a difficult neighbor and he came in and handled the situation very calm and professionally. There are no words to describe how difficult our neighbor is but he certainly handled it with ease. He was very thorough in finding all of the damage and was reachable via phone on both his day off and after the job was completed. The process was also very easy. Instead of playing phone tag Natasha was very responsive via text and let me know each time she was sending an email over for us to review.

Nathan and his team were extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable and caring when a pipe broke behind our kitchen wall. Nathan arrived within hours of my calling him after the burst pipe happened. We discovered some damage after our home went into escrow! Time was critical to rectify it to avoid escrow falling through. Nathan and his team were wonderful. If you have Geico/Travelers insurance, my sincere advice is to stay as far away as possible from West Coast Restoration and Nathan Raymond. He will not keep his words and ditch you right when he gets his money. I called Nathan for estimate when I had a leak at my condo and wanted to not involve insurance. He gave me a verbal quote of around $1500 for restoration which made me go the route of filing insurance claim which has $1000 deductible. Nathan pitched me that 80% of his job is to fight for his clients with the insurance adjuster and that he will sort out all insurance dealings for me.
I had paid him a check for $150 for the first visit which he said he will apply towards the restoration if I employ his services. The day restoration had to start, he made me sign a document that I am personally responsible for paying to him and the dealing between the insurance and me are my problems. He sweet talked me that these are industry norms for paperwork and that he will personally help me.
The restoration estimate in this contract jumped from $1500 to $4000 but I didn't hesitate as now insurance was involved and I assumed there will be price adjustments. When the work was done, the final bill came out for $6351 (more than 4x the initial estimate). You can imagine what kind of ethics he has when the final invoice was 400% of the estimate.
His crew did a clean job of restoration though. From here onward, everything went south. He demanded that I pay him the full amount within 14 days of the completion date and he did not even want to speak to the adjuster. He gave me a harsh rude letter that I should sent to the adjuster trying to convince me that Travelers is a horrible company to engage with and that this is the only way to go forward.
Since I had signed a contract to pay him, I did pay him out of my pocket (minus $150 that I had already made out a check to him). His assistant chased me for the $150 and tried to convince me that Nathan tore that check. Based on my recent experience, I had little belief in him in any matters where money was involved but I finally gave in and sent him another check for $150.
He was not to be seen or heard after that and I had to work with my insurance on my own completely. In the end the insurance adjuster and Travelers turn out to be top notch people to work with and they covered me as much as they could. The only bad taste I was left in this whole episode was the sweet talking Nathan who only wanted my business and charged 400% of the estimate, did not even talk to insurance once (which he had promised) and left me having to figure out the insurance process which is the only reason I had hired his services for. Your mileage might vary but this was not at all a positive experience for me

I am a Floridian that has a condo in San diego where I spend a few months of the year to escape the Miami heat. I came back to an unexpected mold disaster a couple weeks ago after a neighbor had a flood and didn't mention anything to the association. I was referred to west coast restoration by a friend who had a good experience with their services.

When my kitchen plumbing began flooding my house I was referred to West Coast Restoration by a friend. It took them no longer than 30 minutes to get to my house, a few minutes later they were already at work trying to minimize all the damage. I just noticed this review sitting in my drafts from two years ago, 2017. So long overdue. If you are in need of the services of a restoration professional with white glove service, to feel like you're their only client and your interests are all that matter look no further than West Coast Restoration & Carpet Cleaning. It was Labor Day weekend and no sooner had I messaged West Coast Restoration & Carpet Cleaning did I receive contact from Nathan Raymond, CEO.
I had water in my floor seeping up through seams between the floorboards and in my garage. I was suspecting the source of the issue being my AC unit. If we didn't act quickly significant water damage and mold could set in. Nathan talked me through what needed to be done to secure my home and quickly came out to assess the issue and develop an action plan for this emergency.
Given I am the caretaker for someone who is handicapped, their wellbeing was paramount and staying in my home was the more palatable and feasible option. With the heat inside rising through the mid-80s and the outside temperature at a high, in a matter of hours Nathan made arrangements to have two portable AC units delivered and set up in my home. Nathan is a miracle worker!
I didn't think it would be possible given it was a Sunday and to make it an even bigger challenge, a long holiday weekend. Nathan's consummate professionalism didn't end there. Throughout my contact with him to address the emergency, he remained very attentive and responsive.

Wow, how a few years have changed this place. I guess I was lucky early on to find them when they were new. Since then, the prices have gotten ABSURDLY high. For example, they quoted me $0.75/sq. ft. of carpet cleaned! I mean, they did a great job the first time and I'm guessing they might still but these prices put them out of the realm of possible business with them.

I was referred over to West Coast Restoration for some water damage we had from the last rain shower here in San Diego. Natosha answered my call and was very understanding of my scenario. She reassured me that I would be taken care of and took the time to explain the next steps. Later in the afternoon I received a call from Nathan, the owner, and he let me know that he could come over the same day to asses the damage.

Used them last year and didn't get a chance to review until now. 1) overpriced and they won't give you a real quote before 2) Very cheesey "sales" approach to try to get you to pay for updates and 3 the guy was clearly upset I wasn't willing to pay insane prices for their sales pitch. The work was overall ok. My rating was for their add on sales approach in addition to the over pricing already. I paid over $400 for a 1900 sq ft home (carpet itself at basic was $260). Went with All in one cleaning and loved it. Total was only $180.

Nathan and his team are amazing! We had some bad water and mold damage in our second bedroom. Nathan came out and gave us a fair quote, along with advice on how to contain the issue until we were ready to move forward. When we were, he and his team moved very quickly and efficiently. They quarantined off the area with a plastic sheet door, and taped down paper in the areas outside of the room that they would be walking to help keep our home clean (amazing!).
They then got the room gutted and mold cleaned out in less than a day, and tested to ensure that there was no mold remaining. This was very important to us, as it will eventually become an infants rooms. Once we figured out our new flooring and paint, he and his team worked quickly to rebuild the room. replacing the insulation and drywall, painting the walls and door, and installing the new floor.
His team was extremely quick, but also had a great attention to detail. It was amazing to hear the team lead say that he needed to take an extra 30 min to touch up areas HE was not satisfied with. This demand for excellence really instilled confidence in us and made the room turn out wonderfully! I cannot say enough amazing things about Nathan and his team! We are extremely grateful to have the water and mold gone, and to have a beautiful new room that we feel safe to have children in! Thank you!

I called West Coast Steam Clean after reading all the great reviews on Yelp. I called and spoke with Naomi - she was so helpful and friendly, it really put my mind at ease (so many places have a hard-sell attitude, and this was a refreshing change). I had the company do both my carpets and air ducts. Overall, they did an excellent job.

I waited a couple months post-cleaning to leave an honest review. Customer Service: The team was very nice and polite; they were pretty much what you would expect from a service provider that you are spending hundreds of dollars with. They offered some booties to wear around the house while the carpet was wet and gave a free sample of cleaning solution.
That was very nice of them. Carpets pre-cleaning: The carpets were pretty stained. I moved into my condo and you could tell there was some stains, but it was hard to notice because the landlord had just cleaned the carpets. A month after moving in I could tell that the landlord really tried covering up just how many stains there were without actually having to replace the carpets. Had I known this prior to moving in, I would have told the landlord to replace the carpets or I would not be moving in. Carpets immediately after cleaning: The restoration company did a great job from immediate perception.
The carpets looked nice, I could not see any stains, and the place had a nice new feel to it. My place is small and around ~850 sq. ft. They were done in under an hour, which seemed a bit quick. Carpets two months post-cleaning: The carpets do look better, but some of those old stains resurfaced. It's such a shame too because I was really hoping that spending a lot of money to get these cleaned would remove those stains as none of them were pet stains and just looked like heavy traffic stains. Thoughts: I was initially impressed with the service, but now I am feeling somewhat disappointed. Had I known that the carpets would not be as clean as expected I would not have spent as much money as I did.
I spent ~$240.00 and tipped $20.00. I most likely would have purchased a rug doctor and tried it myself or maybe went with a cheaper restoration company. It's a shame too because I really enjoyed the customer service. I do not persuade anyone from trying this company. I do feel that they did a decent job. I will check with their customer satisfaction guidelines to see if they may be able to help me out based on my slightly dissatisfied experience.

Puppies will be puppies, right? And sometimes you need carpet cleaning because of that puppy. Well these guys rock. Honestly, I think the carpeting looks better than when it was installed. And since they were at the house, we had them clean the couch, too. Those nice bright colors came out again. We would have had them clean the dog too but she hid somewhere. Probably felt guilty. We recommend West Coast without any reservations.

Had my two bedroom condo, all carpeted, cleaned with West Coast Carpet Cleaning. Scheduling was a breeze, and they were on time, courteous and professional. They got out all the traffic stains as well as a large soda pop stain in the living room that I didn't think would clear up. Carpets look great now. Will use them again and would recommend them.

These guys are fantastic! Our carpets were so bad, I thought we were going to have to replace them. (New puppy and someone tracked in oil & grease). We called and didn't expect to get scheduled for a while because of the holidays, but they got us scheduled right away. Day of service, they called and asked if they could come a little early. They also made an exception to their hours of service just to deliver my rugs at a time that worked for me. And finally, the price for all this work was very reasonable. I highly recommend them to everyone needing services from upholstery and rug cleaning through entire restoration after a disaster such as a fire or flood.
They also clean the things we tend to forget such as air conditioning and clothes dryer ducts. I came home from a night out with some friends. And there was water coming out of my front door. I immediately panicked. Apparently a water line had burst and was leaking water all over my house. After shutting off my water, I looked on Yelp and found West Coast Restoration & Cleaning came highly reviewed and called them. Even though it was after hours, Ray and his team were at my house quickly and immediately got to work.
They were able to help clean and repair the water damage quickly so that wouldn't have a mold problem. Once they finished, it looked like new with very minimal long term damage (we had to replace one floor). I highly recommend them if you have a water, fire or mold issue. Or just need some general deep cleaning to impress the in-laws.

My dog of 9 years was having bladder issues and had some accidents on our apartment carpet while we were gone. I messaged the company through Yelp and Sofia responded. She let me know how and why they do what they do and made me feel very comfortable. There was a misunderstanding on the options and pricing, but Nathan was understanding. I was able to discuss the issue with Sofia and it was resolved professionally.
Their minimum price is approximately $200, but you definitely get what you pay for. I can't even see the stains anymore, at all! They did an amazing job and explained everything. You'd be insane not to call Sofia or Nathan and let them treat your carpet! I'll definitely be calling then back should we ever need them.

We had our carpets, upholstery, tile and grout and air ducts cleaned. What a difference! These guys are the best of the best. Our home breathes clean. This operation is professional from top to bottom. If you want the BEST, call these guys. You will find true, old fashioned Customer Service which is RARE these days. We would recommend this company and will use them again!

I have been dealing with West Coast Steam Clean since their inception, and I have never been disappointed with their service - and most of all, the exceptionally respectful and attentive customer service. Their technicians always come dressed in official company attire with what looks like gleaming brand new state-of-the-art equipment. My carpet (and kitchen/bathroom tiles BTW!) end up looking brand new, and I feel like I am dealing with experienced professionals rather than the rabble that used to be sent out by whatever random company I would call. Additionally, their prices are reasonable (especially when compared with the services rendered), and they don't show up and charge me a fortune when their representatives already gave me their estimate.
