This company is the worst if I could give them a 0 I would. I have been waiting for them to complete service ticket that they messed up. Home Depot needs to get rid of them as a service center. my 1st claim was on 11/6/21 it took 3 months to come out to put a motherboard in that they said was needed. After putting the motherboard in the washer door does not open. they started the cycle staining everything was OK and they left.
After cycle was complete 5minutes later I went to open door and it would not open. I have asked Home Depot protection plan to get give me a new service center, they refused. I am told this IS Appliance is the only repair center for my area which is sad because that only means IS Appliance can give u poor service and there is no conquence. That is poor business ethics. Just note today they told home Depot protection plan that they called me yesterday and left message. A bunch of lies! I WANT MY WASHER FIXED!

SCAM ALERT. Do not use these people they tell you they will show up and don't. The cancelled my warranty claim with Home Depot before they even showed up. I even got a text stating "on the way in 30 mins" and they never showed. Scum of the earth, don't use them. This has nothing to do with Home Depot but rather Asurion which is the warrant company.

There isn't a rating low enough on this site to fully explain how terrible this company is. The voicemail associated with this phone number doesn't even list the name of company. They NEVER return calls. A man walked in my home, didn't provide any identification or even leave documentation to indicate the work done. He said a part needed to be ordered and 6 weeks later, no one had called us back or returned any of the numerous messages we have left. Be warned and do NOT use this company!

If it was possible to leave a negative review I would. This company is contracted by the Home Depot Protection Plan. They came out in September to start a repair on our Kitchenaid Dishwasher. They showed up unannounced a couple of days after we started the claim with Home Depot - thank goodness someone was home! No phone call no nothing. Just showed up at the door.
Not a complicated repair - the top rack of the dishwasher is broken. They ordered the part and received it (according to Home Depot) in OCTOBER! It's December and no one has come back to repair the dishwasher. I have wasted HOURS of time on the phone with the useless Home Depot people. Do not let anyone assign this company to make repairs on your appliances. They will not show up!

Home Depot extended warranty assigned us this company last week, for our most recent dishwasher repair. Never got a call to confirm my appointment, rearranged schedules to be home Monday between 4 and 8pm. Felt uneasy, so called to confirm at 1pm, voicemail, 4pm came and went, no repair person. Called IS again at 5pm to verify they were coming. Again straight to voicemail, left another message. Called Home Depot warranty people to make sure everything was good, while on the phone with them trying to call the service provider, we got a text stating the repair was completed and service ticket was closed.
I informed the person on the phone this wasn't true, nobody had been here. They looked into it and the notes claimed a tech arrived at 4pm, nobody was home, nobody answered the phone, so they left after 10 minutes. I have a Nest doorbell, no video of anyone coming to the door. Checked my phone, no calls since 2:30 when my mom called. There were 2 cars in the so called empty driveway, 4 people and a dog who likes to bark loud and proud when someone comes to the door, so this person lied boldly all around.
Get online, to check the company out and found 17 1 star Google reviews saying the same exact thing. Then found 13 1 star yelp reviews, and a F rating with the BBB. Escalated our repair to get another company, only to wait 2 days to be reassigned this one again. Called, no answer, so back on the phone to the warranty people. Explained everything again, escalated again, and am now waiting again. I'm guessing The Home Depot must pay very little to the repair companies since this is the ONLY one in our area. It makes the Home Depot look very bad and unreliable. Stay away from this company, because they obviously don't care.

Tried using their service only because it is who Home Depot uses for their extended warranty work. I had original claim in and they closed it claiming no one responded to their phone call. No phone calls ever received, not to confirm appt. nor to tell me they were at my house. Had to submit a new claim for two days later. Still no confirmation call. I've left 4 voicemails with them with no response. Will definitely be calling Home Depot on how horrible this company is.

DO NOT use this company. If Home Depot warranty department gives you this company name - demand they give you a different company. They do not answer their phones, they do not return phone calls - I've called 6 times over 6 days and Home Depot called them twice and emailed them once with no response at all. They never showed up for an appointment and did not call. I'm now waiting on yet another day for a service call and nobody has called, nobody has shown up. Run away from this company!

We were supposed to have the repair done today between the hours of 8a-12p. By 12:15p I asked my wife if anyone had called or come to make the repair. Of course she said no. I checked my email only to find out that our ticket was marked as completed.
This company indicated that they were at our home at 10:00am and no one was there. This was a LIE because my wife and daughter both were home all morning! We never received a call from IS Appliance Repair to verify if anyone in fact was home or not. I called Home Depot to make sure that they placed my repair with another subcontractor. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!

Horrible service. They are the company Home Depot and Asurion send for service under the extended warranty. They on multiple occasions mark the service as complete without ever showing up. They then claim they came and no one answered the door. I filed a formal complaint to Home Depot, so they finally came, but left with my refrigerator in worse condition than when they came.
It appears the replacement part was damaged in shipment or storage. We were told it wasn't there fault, they just install what was sent, then left. I'm working with Home Depot to find anyone but this company. It is shocking they have been allowed to remain in business.

I had the same experience as everyone else, first unable to fix the problem and after that a no show, but lied about it to Asurion. However I got a resolution from Home Depot. I opened a case with the Better Business Bureau and they did respond to that. Called me the next day and got me connected directly with Whirlpool (I have a KitchenAid appliance). It stinks they could not solve the problem the first time, but at least there is a solution.

The company was supposed to send a technician to our home, through a Home Depot warranty repair. They did not call to confirm, nor did they show up. Yet, they completed the work ticket stating they called and came to the house. We have a Ring doorbell doesn't have video of the entire day at the entry. They did not come. Plus, we called multiple times in the afternoon, as did Home Depot. They did not answer their phone. Do not allow Home Depot to send them to your home. Very disappointing.

If i could give this a minus rating I would! They are the worst! They either don't show up or if they do their technician is extremely rude. They are contracted through Home Depot extended warranty service so I had no choice. I have had to use them 3 times. Twice they just didn't show up and once the tech was there for less than 5 mins and was so rude he may as well not have showed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This.company came twice to fix my dishwasher. First dishes on top shelf were not drying Technician told me to let them air dry. This is a new dishwasher. Second time 4 months later suds was in the bottom of my dishwasher after washing dishes. Technician told me to buy Dishwasher Magic and he was ordering me a new electrical unit plus some type of strip and it would be in a week and they would call me to set up a time.
A week later I called to see if it was in no answer voicemail stating they would return calls next day same thing no return calls. Last call was made two weeks after Tech came out. Still no answer no return call. I contacted Home Depot since this was who they had sent. I was informed I S Appliance had never ordered the part and said service was complete. I would rate them a -1 if there was such a rating.

Unfortunately Asurion, which handles service for the JC Penney Protection Plan, uses IS Appliance Repair in Jacksonville. They don't ever answer their phone or respond to texts, and they don't return calls when you leave them voicemail messages. If you can ever get them to show up, they're OK. First scheduled appointment was a no-show, but they said they came and nobody was home, a bold-faced lie, and they cancelled the service.
After several irate calls to Asurion, another service call was scheduled and the tech showed up this time, took a look at my problem and said he needed to order a part. For 3 weeks after that, I heard not a peep from them. Then, after several more VERY irate calls to Asurion, I finally got another call scheduled. This time the tech showed up on time and I even got a heads-up text saying he was on the way, the first time they ever initiated contact with me. Bottom line is it took more than a month to get my ice maker fixed on my Samsung fridge, which is totally unacceptable.

They won't answer phone calls, return messages or return texts now. Home Depot needs to reconsider recommending this company. Terrible customer service! Still no working oven. Come on people Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Not to mention i paid for a warranty.

Terrible service. Was a no show for two straight appointments. Never returned a single call (called over 8 times). Kept saying that I had given the wrong number, yet I left my correct number every single call. Lied to Assurion multiple times saying they had reached out when they never did. Said they would call as soon as the part arrived. Part arrived on Tuesday and I called Assurion on Thursday. They claimed they were just about to call me.yeah right! Lying sacks of s. Looks like I am not alone. If you don't want to do the work, dont accept the job.

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. This might be the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. There isn't a person that will speak to you on the phone no matter how many times you request it. They will only text you back and forth with a rude attitude like they are doing you a favor by texting me. The 1st time someone came out they said it was fixed yet that night when I went to use the washer it was the same error messages and problems.

I was home all morning and actually out in the yard when I received the text, no tech was ever at my house. I reschedule for today from 10-4 and no one shows up.
I text the number only to find out the tech can't make it and wants me to give up another six hours of my life to wait for someone. Terrible service. would never recommend to anyone Home Depot, your reputation is on the line for contracting with the place. If this is the service contractors you use for warranty work, I'll never buy an extended warranty with the Home Depot again and will certainly let everyone I know about this experience.

I would give this company a negative 10-star rating if this was possible. I cannot believe that Home Depot does business with a company that has an F-rating with the Better Business Bureau, and up to this point 13 0f 18 scathingly critical reviews on Yelp. I think the ones that are positive (all from 2012 and 2013) must be from family members. I've now filed 2 complaints with Home Depot against this company and will continue to do so.

I was told that the technician said he came to my house and no one was home. This is a bald-faced lie, and was easily verified since I live in a gated neighborhood and EVERYONE who does not have a resident sticker and bar code has to pass through the Guard Gate, where the license plate and Driver's License are recorded. There is no record of this company coming into my neighborhood yesterday.
So all you people who had similar experiences; yes, they LIE. I have the contact information for the Home Depot executives (easily found on a google search) and will be starting a letter writing campaign to get IS Appliance Repair removed as a Home Depot service provider. I urge everyone who has had problems with this shoddy, fly-by-night so-called-business to join me. I am determined to put them out of business.

Wish I could give ZERO. They were contracted through my warranty. They were supposed to show up between 8am and noon. No call no show. Called the number to get what sounds like a private cell. Called Home Depot and was told that IS had accepted the work order and that when they tried the number they got the same message I did. Was told they re-sent a message to them. Nothing! Called the warranty again the next day to be told that IS had stated they came to my house at 7pm, called me, and then left after 10 minutes. BOLD FACE LIE!
I have a large family and would have walked through FIRE to get this dish washer fixed. Now I'm waiting till Monday for some other company. Fingers crossed. Maybe they can figure out what between 8 and noon means. These morons can't!

This was dispatched through Assurion for Home Depot. He claimed he showed up at my door at 9 am and knocked and sat out front for 10 minutes. Which was a lie. My whole family was there at that time. My husband was outside doing the lawn and myself and my children were inside waiting for instacart to show up. When i originally made the claim i was very explicit on saying east.
There is a house with the same number on a different side of the street. The claim had the correct address so i dare this man to use that as an excuse. I tried to call him at 2:30 pm that day and i got a generic vm that is full. I then sent him a text asking him to call me. told him we were waiting for service. He never called. If that man truly came to my door and sat outside of my home he should have called.
I would think that would be standard for any repair person. I have filed a new claim and have asked for a different company and i have filed a complaint against this man for false claims of coming to my home.

I set an appointment up with them through Home Depot and proceeded to call them 11 times. They NEVER called me back. They had allegedly ordered parts, but had not even seen the dryer. Then an appointment was set up and we weren't notified even though I called them 11 times, pleading with them to call me back. The lack of courtesy or basic human decency is completely missing. I told Home Depot they were not welcome in my home because of their total disregard for me as a human being and a client.

Apparently someone other than a customer wrote the above review. This company is not worth a phone call. However if you do call it won't make a difference because all you get for your trouble is an answering machine. No one returns calls so consequently you have to look elsewhere for service. So save yourself the trouble and skip this repair service company
