This review has been a long time coming. We got our windows a little over a year ago, but due to circumstances, I was not able to write a review. However, I feel like I should keep my promise to write one. I have been very happy with the windows. Where my basement was always freezing cold, even in summer, it is now comfortably cool in summer or warm in winter.
Our energy bills have gone down some, in spite of the rise in prices for utilities. The people who put the windows in worked efficiently, quickly and were courteous. Our special needs were taken into consideration. I feel I could recommend this company to anyone who is looking for new windows for their home.

Critical: Professionalism When soliciting the elderly. it would be a good idea to have the person reach out to family members. especially when dealing with tens of thousands of dollars. Glad we were able to stop any work before this company started ripping out windows and doors. In fairness they were quick to return phone calls after a bad online review.

We participated in the Home Energy Program. I get the impression Superior's main focus with that is to sell windows. The windows we got are fine, but I'm not interested in working with Superior ever again. From beginning to end this process had problems. I think the salesperson over-promised: he said the windows wouldn't be cold to the touch in the winter, that we would have the walls between us and our neighbors insulated (that was not done) and he also said the sliding door would slide easily with just one finger (it's not bad, but it certainly doesn't do that).
The energy auditor was great and recommended an interior door sweep and a change to the venting of the attic fan. Superior followed neither of these recommendations. The main installation process left a lot to be desired. Most of the workers were great, but the team leader not only didn't show up on time, he also didn't introduce his team or tell me the project plan. Additionally, he went about ordering supplies without referring to the notes he took on what we needed (he told me that when I asked why it didn't match what we had talked about), and showed up with an incorrectly manufactured window and incorrect light bulbs.
When the work was finished, I couldn't tell, because he hadn't followed up on the auditor's recommendations, and he also hadn't told me exactly what the plan was. He tried to get me to sign off on the job before walking through and looking at the work. I insisted on a walk-through, and he was very annoyed. During the walkthrough, each time I pointed out something that needed to be adjusted (window latch that scraped, incorrect window, no lock on the back door, no interior sweep, etc, no weatherstripping done on the front door, etc.) his first response was to blame me for not accepting the problem as "good enough" and to put me down.
He even told me that there is no such thing as an interior door sweep, implying that I was stupid to ask for one. Additionally, the stucco installer behaved in an overly familiar and physically inappropriate way as he was leaving, and the insulation installers knocked over our property and didn't clean up their mess, leaving us with insulation all over the hallway and stairs. Superior itself didn't communicate with me very well.
I was told that I would get a copy of the energy audit and recommendations, and despite asking, I didn't get it until after leaving a review mentioning this fact. After posting my review, I received a letter from the owner accusing me of lying about my experiences, stating that they have no control over the quality of the products they install, and offering to pay me to remove the review.
I was also very surprised to find that the loan secured for us through Superior in this program had a terrible interest rate, and no explanation was given for that; we were only told that we could get a different loan if we wanted to. I did get new windows and some attic insulation out of the project, which after all, I did pay for. But for the amount of effort and difficulty I went to in order to see the project to satisfaction was too much. All in all, if I had it to do over again, I would rather not work with Superior Home Improvement.

This company is great at installing windows and their products are superior. However the other work they do is not as professional. We experienced poor communication and slipshod negligence on multiple projects just to get the job done and we had to push to get satisfactory work. The worst of it was that we had them enlarge a window in our basement.
They had to cut into the foundation and dig up the yard around it. What we were not told was that our side yard would be torn up and that they would cut our sprinkler pipe that was in the way of where they dug out the egress window. We were not told that they would not be fixing anything they broke or tore up in the process. They told us several times after the window was put in that they had not had to cut our sprinkler pipe. Lo and behold a week later the secondary water was turned on and the pipe that was supposedly not cut started pouring water into the hole they had dug out and covered up.
We would have had a flood if our neighbors had not seen it and alerted us. They came out again and had to admit they did cut the pipe. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They may be the only company who does the Energy Conservation Program, but it's totally not worth the hassle and extra expense in fixing the mess they leave behind. If I had known this would be the result, I never would have done this.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful company. They have been the most professional honest company I have ever had to pleasure to work with. The work they have done on my home has been top notch. It looks beautiful and the savings on my utilities are amazing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. They are AMAZING!

We joined the Energy Conservation program with Superior Home Improvement and it was one of the best decisions we have made. Our utility bills have gone down quite a bit and the improvements we had done to our home look great. Very happy with the work they did. I would recommend anyone looking to improve your home and save money to join this program.

We recently joined the Energy Conservation program through Superior Home Improvement and we could not be more happy. Our home looks brand new and it is 40 years old. I cannot stress enough what a great company this is and the work that they do is amazing. And to top it off we are saving so much money on our utilities now. Rich and company has surpassed our expectations. Great, Great job!

One of the worst experiences I've had. Superior was recommended by my HOA president so I gave them a call. The first rep wouldn't return my calls and the second rep came out and gave me a quote that was a bit higher than average though he kept insisting that it was the greatest deal despite the fact that I had received lower quotes from other companies.
I requested the manufacturer's info and model numbers of the windows they use of which he provided a limited amount of info. I told him I needed to do my due diligence since it was a significant investment. I clearly explained to him that if I couldn't find out everything I needed to know before winter I would have to postpone until spring because of my schedule, weather, the holidays and heating my place wasn't an issue.
The rep, Mark (I won't leave his last name) simply would not listen to me. He kept telling me there was no benefit in waiting despite me telling him why I wanted to wait. Then he told me that they were increasing the prices so If I didn't do it right now they wouldn't honor the quote even though I told him I absolutely wasn't interested in doing it this time of year.
I told him I would revisit the matter at the end of February and to leave me alone. Yet he continued to press insisting he wasn't being pushy which only contradicted himself. I told him that if he contacted me again I would not just request a new rep, I would take my business elsewhere. Yet again he continued to contact me. The rep turned a yes into a no and to be frank, after all the research I've done the company uses AMI windows which are good but you can find as good or better for the money.

Superior is an amazing company, they know how to take care of their customers, Rich is such a hard worker, and the staff is amazing. I'm very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them! The Energy Program is as basic as 2+2. It's super efficient and adds value to your home! I honestly think the other people who gave this company a bad rating did not have the patience required to see the beautiful sunrise after the dreadful hike. Superior, thanks for all you do.

My experience with everyone at Superior Home Improvement was top notch all the way around. From the estimator, the install crew- they all did an professional, fantastic job. My new doors were large in size and it took much planning to make sure the job was done right. I highly recommend their services!
