I used Total Construction for my patio in my backyard. Their price for the work was competitive but what I was most happy with was the work that they did. They moved all existing pieces of the patio, framed out the new patio and poured all in 3 days. They were very responsive and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Would 100% use again for future projects and would 100% recommend to anyone.

I would give 6 stars if I could! It is rare to find a company that is so responsive and provides the quality that Total Construction does. This was my first time using the company and they performed flawlessly. They did a wall repair in my garage that I needed done quickly. Keith arrived on time and completed the task faster than expected. The wall looks perfect and he even cleaned everything up afterwards. The owner called me to follow up and insure that everything was done to my satisfaction. Excellent quality and fast service! I highly recommend them!

I recently had Total Construction replace my roof and address a damaged ceiling area in my atrium. I could not be happier with the results. Ryan fixed my damaged ceiling in one day. It is a flat ceiling and you cannot tell where he cut out the damaged area and repaired it. He covered everthing in the room, repaired the area, repainted the entire. ceiling and left it looking fabulously in one day!

I highly recommend Total Construction. They are very professional, show up on time, get the job done right and are knowledgeable on addressing homeowner's concerns. I will call them first whenever I need help regarding home repairs or updating. I honestly wish I had about known about this company previously. I had Kevin put me on the calender to address some window issues in the spring. I give them 5 stars on both projects.

A tree fell on my garage and privacy fence and these guys got it done for an awesome price. The bad reviews about these guys on google and Facebook seem a little far fetched and the people seem like they are disgruntled about something that was not Total Construction's fault. I had no problems with the 2 guys (Dan and Steve I believe were their. names) that did the job.

Those 2 did an extraordinary job! They took their time and still got it done pretty fast. They were really quiet which was nice because I work over nights so they didn't disturb my sleep. The area where the tree fell looks as good as new and I highly recommend these guys. They definitely have my business for years to come.

These guys are hard workers and are doing it right! I was hit in Iowa by the land hurricane. I needed a garage, new roof, wiring, and inside stuff from water and wind damage. Remember to take of the people that are taking care of you. I live in a small town also, nowhere to really get lunch. I'm cooking for them.

Horrible company and owner to do business with. Kevin Jackson is petty, rude and dishonorable. After taking a $2500 deposit they did not even start doing work for over 6 months later. They painted over my brand new gutters and will not reimburse for it. I have had to have them come back out several times to fix mistakes and each time it was not done correctly.

I was given a bill for items they never completed or did work on(Billed me and likely my insurance for a door they never bought or replaced). They wont give an itemized receipt because they cant, its just a scam. Each sub contractor that came out likewise said this was the first and last time they would work with someone like Kevin Jackson and Peggy O'Neill.

They put a lien on my house while the work was still being completed and then after they were paid in full Kevin said he wants $60 more before he would remove the lien. I only picked them at first because they had good reviews. After looking into the company more it looks like he makes his own employees write reviews to show them favorable.

Horrible contracting company. Kevin will take your money and leave the work unfinished and in worse shape. Do not trust the reviews on this site or the other ones. He makes his employees post reviews. The receptionist is Tonya Stinson and you can see her giving bogus 5 star reviews on this and google. Stay away at all cost!

Our Experience was great from the beginning when they helped us with updates to remodel our kitchen. They gave us better ideas then we presented and stayed well within our budget. We were referred by a friend and were pleased with their professionalism and craftsmanship. The sad part is their reviews were not all good but we went with our feelings on how they presented themselves. We love their work prior, felt listened to during the process, appreciated how clean they kept our project and we will use them again!

I highly recommend Kevin and Total Construction. Back in September 2018, i had a tree fall on my roof and put a huge hole in it. It happened at night, but Kevin had a crew out the very next morning. They removed the tree ( which had to be cut into pieces and then the remaining had to be removed with a crane). They fixed the huge hole and put a. tarp over it.

When the claim was ok by my insurance company Kevin had a crew start on it right away fixing the problems and reshingling the roof. Once they were done with the roof. they started fixing the problems on the inside. Kevin, the workers and the people in the office were all courteous and professional. They always kept me informed what was going on and if i had any questions they were always answered. Like i said at the begining, i would highly recommend Kevin and Total Construction.

This is by far the best home repair/restoration company in the Midwest. Kevin and his crew does an amazing job from start to finish. Kevin gives his honest and professional feedback with each job he has done for me and my family. I would recommend Total Construction above any other. Thank you Kevin and your team for everything you have done and will do for our family.

They were very proactive in helping me take care of the flooding that occurred at my house. Immediately sent their crew over with fans and got my place dried up. Thank you!

When my wife wanted our kitchen remodeled. They gave the most detailed estimate, listened carefully to what we wanted and helped us stay within out budget. They were not the lowest nor the highest bid and we liked that they came in right in the middle. They gave us the assignment to go out and pick the materials we wanted and instructed us on. how to not go out of our price range.

My wife had fun picking the colors and items they used. We are thankful for their craftsmanship and the complete project. They kept our home clean during construction, made sure they stuck to the schedule and often asked if we were being inconvenienced. In my opinion I would strongly encourage them for any interior considerations you may have regarding remodeling your home.

During one of the bigger storms in 2013 I had roof damage. Total Construction was the one to replace my shingles. After everything was done I had paid my deductible and they said the rest had gone through my insurance so we were good. YEARS later. they send a bill to tell me I have an outstanding balance of around $900. They got a "new" accountant person who found it.

They said they'd do me a favor and take off the fees & a couple hundred dollars. Never ONCE did I get a bill or a phone call about this until this point. They don't believe they're in the wrong at all for not contacting me until this point. I now have a few new things I need done to my house and will NEVER use this company again! Poor account management on Total Constructions part.

It's not almost 2019 and were still dealing with this issue. They don't send out monthly bills either.just an e-mail to an old account telling me I need to pay the bill or they'll send it to collections. I think a company would CALL to tell you something like this. not a random e-mail.

Seen what job that need to be done, states will e-mail a bid, nothing more was heard from them, wanted to start with small job, if work was gd, then would do a kitchen remodel

I have never been more disgusted with a company and its owner, (Kevin) It took just over 2 years for them to break ground on our project, thanks to the lying estimator Chris. The fact that an owner could be unaware of this project and just let it sit for that long without questioning it is beyond me. Once they started work they said it would be an 8 to 12 week job, it took almost 6 months.

Not to mention when they started the work, they had a permit to break ground and we were told all was good with what we wanted. Turned out, that was completely false. Nothing was built the way we thought it would be. We were told one thing then got a call after they started saying the city would not allow it. So we were stuck since the work had already began.

When things were going Kevin's way in the beginnig things seemed ok, but when we started noticing issues he became unresponsive and when he did respond he was rude and hostile. It was a terrible experience, so incredibly stressful for my husband and i, and I would never recommend using this company. Side note, I've looked through some of these other reviews and I'm always suspicious of people that give 5 stars to a company that have only reviewed them and no one else.

I saw at least 6 reviews where total was the only company they reviewed. And Total Construction has only replied to my review on the BBB, saying they want to sit down and talk, that we have a outstanding balance, and they apologize to us and say they want us to be pleased with their work. That is what I call narcissistic behavior. They will respond to a BBB review but won't call us. not to mention they were given a packet of pics and a statement of everything that happened.

I have included just some of the pics of things we have had to deal with and we had to ask them to correct these things. When we did show concern, we were not met with kindness and apologizes from Kevin, it was frustration and annoyance.

Total Construction put new gutters on my home. They did an awesome job and took care of it in one afternoon. They had a machine that made the gutters right there in my back yard. As I had already purchased new gutter guards to install myself, the crew went ahead and did the installation for me. Work was efficiently completed and the workers were very courteous. Thanks Total Construction! Would definitely use them again and refer my friends.

A disappointing, and discouraging experience to say the least. After having a house fire nearly 3 months ago I have yet to see any substantial progress with my home. I have been very patient, but the lack of effort on their part is unacceptable.

All through the project we were having done there was great communication between everyone involved. I am very pleased with the services we received. When we do our remodeling of our basement they will be the first on my list to call. I would recommend them to all our family and friends.

While I don't agree that hate should describe anything, if I were to grade them on my current project, I would give them a D-. My 8-10 week project is now in month 6 and I have not heard a word in 3 weeks.

David Cisar was fabulous to work with us and our insurance State Farm to get our roof replaced after the hail storm last fall. I'm glad we had it in the pipeline before last week's storm. Now there is a backlog.

I had the great pleasure of working with Total Construction Services after suffering from a large hail storm. They are a preferred contractor for Nationwide Insurance who sets very high standards to become a partner with them. They did quality work that is also covered by a great warranty. Ricky and Kevin were very professional and knowledgeable. No hardball selling, catching problems that other contractors never caught.

They went above and beyond with service, product and workmanship. I would highly recommend using their company that provides fast quality service. Their office staff was awesome to work with as well. Great people to work with.

I hired Total Construction Services to replace my roof and gutters after a Spring hail storm. My salesman, Mitch Stringer, was a pleasure to work with. He was thorough, honest and extremely knowledgeable.

First, the good. The work is completed very well and quickly once they actually got started. New roof and gutters look wonderful. The bad: 0 communication about dates. Nothing provided on when shingles will be delivered.

Don't waste your time. We have tried to contact them numerous times by phone and either left voicemails during business hours when no one answered. Once they had a receptionist answer the call and schedule an appointment during our work hours. One of us took time off and also was not able to attend a family event because they waited for them.

No show. Called again and never responded to messages. This is not a company I would ever consider using and they obviously don't care about any of their potential clients. One can only imagine how they would treat actual clients.

Total Construction and their crew were absolutely amazing! They were on time, courteous and our replacement roof was done exceptionally well. Will recommend them to any of my neighbors and family who ask!

A note of sincere appreciation to Total Construction for the timely repairs to our flooded basement this past year. Your immediate response resulted in avoiding further loss to both the carpeting and furniture.

If you want damage to your home and no responsibility taken these are the folks for you. If I could give negative stars I would. Positives: the crew did not smoke or leave trash around. Negatives: materials show up unannounced and sit in your driveway (for more than a week).in your way.so you have to go around it. the crew also shows up unannounced. they don't so much as tell you what day or week they are coming.

The crew was non-english speaking, were 30 feet in the air with no visible safety devices and blocked both our garage and front door. I didn't realize the front door was blocked until I tried to leave by it and almost got hit in the head by flying materials being thrown off the roof. For some reason, they moved items from my yard (that were not in the way.plenty of places to access the roof other than my little bitty garden) and then left them thrown there.

They also moved a wood table out from under my deck into the yard and because I was out of town the second day they worked and through the weekend it rained on it and the table is completely ruined. They damaged my window, my ceilings and walls on the interior of the house and were slamming the sides of things and the roof so hard as to knock draperies and their holders off the wall even though they were put up with those grapple things that go through the wall.

They said- read the fine print. we aren't responsible for these damages. The insurance adjuster says most of the ceilings and some of the walls need repaired and completely repainted. Probably 3k of damage. My home is in good repair. I am not happy to have to go through this. The roof they replaced. I paid to have better shingles put on but have no idea to know if they did because they wouldn't confirm.

They left exposed roofing nails, gaps in the shingles, yanked cords that had been nicely affixed to the side of my house and pulled those off and left them hanging in the yard. Where those cords entered the house they laid a shingle over the top without cutting around it so they would lay flat. While we were trying to work through resolution they doubled my invoice, sent me a bill and said it I didn't pay it they would file with the city. I had already paid the initial invoice but they said we needed to pay double. This is a really horrible, unethical group of people. Find someone else!

My husband and I had a wonderful first time experience with Total Construction. Our 18 year old roof was in need of replacement. Our first thoughts were who do we entrust this job to? After our research we chose Total Construction for this project. They pride themselves in putting forth a "customer" centered experience along with the professional knowledge necessary to get the job done correctly.

The work began as promised beginning with a personal phone call to us. The materials were delivered on time. Work began as scheduled and was completed with an inspection at the end. The work areas were left clean and our new roof looks terrific! Total Construction uses quality management principles into their business and it shows. They have a strong team in place to serve their customers. We intend to use them for all our future projects.
