I had water coming up through a drain in my basement so I called Michigan Plumbing to come around the next day. Jarrett showed up right on time and did some inspecting inside and out on the street. It turns out it was a clogged sewer, and was the city's responsibility.

Call someone else! They knowingly violate codes and expect you to not find out, then get annoyed when they have to come out to make it right because an inspector caught the mistake. Our plumber even turned down the heat on our water heater in some petty passive aggressive attempt to get back at us for making him come out again!

Called for an estimate to unplug a toilet. I was pleased to get a call ahead and have the representative arrive at the time committed. He wore booties which I appreciate. But was told I needed to buy a new toilet with a cost of $790 to solve the issue.
