They did not explain how they charge for their services, however, they did a great job installing the toilet. I was told a specific amount per hour for the work but they did not advise me this was a per person charge and not a per job charge. When I reached out with questions about the bill, I had to call 2 times and email 2 times before I heard any response.
When they finally responded they did not answer my questions and sent the bill to collections. If you hire them make sure you ask them to explain the total hourly charge for the work and not just the charge per person, otherwise you may end up with a bill that is double what you expect.

I was referred to Frook for my boiler maintenance and repair. I recently bought a home with a steam boiler system and am just getting my feet wet. Dave came out to look at everything and he was extremely knowledgeable, did some general maintenance to get the system properly maintained and will be using them for my ongoing maintenance. Can't say enough about Dave, he did a great job

Charged us 105$ to do nothing, just walked around and sniffed the air in the house and said they couldn't fix anything. Other plumbers we called never charged when they couldn't fix anything. At no point did they tell us when we scheduled the call, when they were here, or after they left that we would be charged. Suddenly we received a bill. I called to inquire about this and the woman answering the phone was extremely rude and asked why I would assume we wouldn't be charged as if I was dumb for just questioning a bill for nothing. I explained to her why I would assume cause every other plumber was like that and she continued to be rude.

Chris came to my dads house to help with toilet problems. Turns out it was a simple fix, a part was just upside down. Regardless, my dad, who happens to be disabled, said Chris was very patient with him and didn't make him feel embarrassed about his mistake lol. Will definitely come back here for any future needs.

I had them come out for a jammed garbage disposal and slow drain and they showed up on time, were very professional, and had my problems fixed quickly and for less than I expected! I had Frook install a bathroom sink faucet - the installation and service were great, but the actual bill came out to be $160 more than the estimate for a pretty straight-forward job. I didn't really appreciate that so I knocked them down a star. I would recommend Frook though - I am happy with the finished product and the tech was easy going.

Cannot say enough great things about Frook Plumbing. You get a time scheduled (not a "window" or "time frame") and the rates are the most reasonable I've gotten for plumbing work in Lansing. The service has also been as friendly and quick as its been reliable. I don't bother writing these unless I'm blown away, and that's definitely been the case here.

I needed a sewer line cleared and they came on a Saturday. Took a couple of hours to arrive, charged $250 for a weekend call. Cleared it and drained the basement, but backed up again. They came back on Monday, didn't charge for the re-do. They charged reasonably for the cleanup and were straight-forward with communication. Thanks!

These plumbers are my go-to people! They have replaced my galvanized pipes throughout my home, They cleared our main sewer drains when other sewer cleaners said I needed to have my lines dug up and replaced! They have cleared my kitchen and bath drains, replaced faucets (both inside and outside), and fixed my toilets. They do excellent work!

They are the BEST! They were highly recommended by many people. I was going to call 3 different CO's but as soon as I started speaking to Mary I just went with them. She was so nice on the phone. Then once the plumber got to my house he fixed my problem right away and was very nice & knowledgable too. Even though I'm a woman he didn't make me feel like I was an idiot.

Some fittings eroded and caused the main water line to leak. Called them up and they were out within a few hours and had it repaired in about an hour. We had them out on a separate occasion for a clogged drain and had a similar experience. Very friendly gentlemen and great service, definitely recommended.

Of the several plumbing companies that I called, Frook plumbing was the only one willing to look at my [sump pump] and try to give me an estimate for work that I could afford. On January 16, 2015, Steve came out to assess the problem and answer my questions. I also asked Steve to fix the toilet in the master half-bath that had been ghost flushing for months.
