Delta Home Services Delta Home Services understands that here in the "Valley of The Sun" sometimes our Furnaces and Heating equipment can be forgotten. We also understand that it can get very cold in the desert and heating is just as important as Air Conditioning. Replacing or improving a furnace can pay off in reducing energy costs and improving heating efficiency and comfort and can deliver steady, modest savings.

Because today's furnaces burn less fuel to generate heat, they are less polluting than their predecessors. Some models with modulating heat output can produce heat more continuously than older furnaces, increasing comfort.
Services
Air Conditioning
Report
Trust Delta Home Services for all of your central air conditioning repair needs. Whether your central AC makes odd noises, leaks, or is having problems cooling, we can fix any problem. Our HVAC Service Technicians and Comfort Advisors will diagnose your central air conditioner to determine the issue and will provide you with a detailed cost estimate before any work is done.
Electrical
Report
It's easy to take electricity for granted. Most of the time, it's always available when we need it. But when something goes wrong with a home's electrical system, the effect can be devastating. A heating system can shut down, water can stop flowing and appliances can stop working.
Radiant Barrier
Report
Radiant Barrier is unlike mass insulation which only slows down or resists heat transfer. Radiant Barrier reflects heat. Heat always goes cold by natural law, the problem is how to keep the heat in in the winter and how to keep it out in the summer. Even the insulation in your attic gives off radiant heat to the cold attic space in the winter, and to the living space in the summer.
Duct Clean
Report
Delta Home Services understand that duct cleanings are one of those tasks that it's easy to forget about. Since ducts and vents are often overlooked, many homeowners might not even remember the last time they had them attended to.
Heat Pumps
Report
A heat pump can work especially well for Arizona homes. Unlike traditional furnaces and air conditioning units, heat pumps do not actually generate heat. Instead, they move warm air to wherever it is needed or wanted. For example, in the winter months, heat is moved inside the house and, in the summer months, heat is vented outdoors.

We had an emergency on a Saturday and called Delta, our tech Adrian Jones came out within 2 hrs and let us know what was wrong, he gave us our options and then he gave us the payment options. He was super empathetic and understanding as to the situation. Patient and knowledgeable. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Service: Install AC

The repairman who came out to take care of our situation with our air conditioner. He was prompt, courteous, and friendly. He took the time to clean up after himself and put everything back the way he found it. He was very professional. Thank you Israel Robles.

An A/C unit was purchased from you a couple of years ago. A tech came out last week and informed us they needed to get a part to repair it. An appointment was scheduled and we have been waiting for a technician and/or response from that scheduled appointment for over 24 hours. A scheduled 2 hour window was scheduled for yesterday morning; no call with update after multiple calls starting at 11:00.

Somebody finally answered and we were told they were running very late so somebody would be here between 2 and 4. Made multiple calls as nobody reached out or showed up. Eventually somebody answered and once again, we were told somebody would call back with an update; crickets. Wasted an entire day waiting for absolutely nothing not to mention it is hot as hades. Started calling early morning and finally got an answer and was told they would have to call back with an update.

This is customer service at its worst. There is no excuse not to be honest and say nobody is available rather than string your customers to wait all day for nothing. It is a very bad reflection on your business and the lack of respect you have for your paying customers. Just awful. Honesty is the best policy.

We replaced an HVAC system and changed some duct work during a renovation project. Their quote was competitive and their sales person was patient as we waited on other contractors. I've had 2 service calls needed since installation and both were handled relatively efficiently. In one instance, an incorrect part was ordered but with mild expression of my displeasure, an alternate solution to mitigate the discomfort/delay was presented which resulted in extra work for them and got the system working while we waited on the part.

While the sales process was great and we loved our sales rep, the install process for TWO new AC units was horrendous. From the lack of professionalism from the install crew, most egregiously the install lead, to the shoddy installation. This install was a nightmare. The outside units were so not level at first you could see from the street they weren't level.

That was haphazardly corrected but still not level, the pads were 90 degrees off so the units were not properly centered, gravel was shoved up under the pads and a couple of shims placed between the unit and pads in an attempt to level them. The wires were not run through the rubber grommet but through metal where they would wear and short out over time from the normal vibrations of an AC unit.

The lead installer never introduced himself. I only knew he was in my home because he was speaking so loudly on his phone, 2 techs had shown up earlier. Only one introduced himself. The lead installer was rude and condescending and straight up lied to my face about a conversation with my spouse. Photographs were taken INSIDE my home, next to family photos without my permission and without even letting me know new/additional Delta employees were inside my home.

The only reason a conversation was had about photos is when I came out of my home office to ask about the paparazzi flashes and "get my good side" comments that were happening around my thermostat and family photos. This is far worse than the shoddy install and lead installers attitude as this is a major violation of privacy and trust. When we called to complain, the office manager also lied about the team taking photos inside my home without an introduction or permission. Turns out, he was part of the photography escapade!

We had to ask every few days for several weeks to get the invoice and paperwork for the labor warranty we purchased. While Delta did come out and correct the problems with the install, there is nothing that can repair the damage done by rude and unprofessional employees inside your home or the violation felt to have someone taking photos in your home when you didn't even know they were inside. Website says the owner demands that customers are treated like family.

Not true, unless you hate your family. We asked to speak with the owner about all of this and are still waiting on that return phone call. It's been two weeks! I will never use or recommend them to anyone.

We needed our AC system replaced. Jason came out and performed a thorough estimate. He suggested a few changes to our duct system along with the new system to improve efficiency and performance. Jason went over all of the details with me and pricing. Within days - our new system arrived and was installed by Jonathon, Marcos and Mike. They completed the work in less time than I had anticipated and exceeded our expectations.

They really went above and beyond and did a great job in a clean, professional and friendly manner. The system is working beautifully and the changes Jason suggested made a huge improvement to our indoor air quality! We were very happy with Delta Home Services and all of their employees. We will definitely be using them for all of our home services needs! Mike and Julie Palella

We are very pleased with the maintenance service that Jesus performed. He took his time, didn't rush and was very thorough. He explained everything very well so that we could understand what he did and what needed to be done. He also gave us a quote on items that needed to be fixed and checked to make sure that they were under warranty. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with and gave us a feeling of satisfaction with his work. We are very happy with this company.

I called to inform of unsafe driving and they didn't care. Use someone else and keep their drivers off the road; if they care this little about safety they care even less about their work.

Delta Services sent a quality tech Kristian my home to repair my Trane HVAC system. Mission accomplished plus I had him install an awesome air scrubber machine that has made a big improvement on my air quality immediately. My allergies have already calmed down. Tech Kristian was professional, polite and talented. I'm thrilled with the work. Chris B., Phoenix, Arizona

The summer of 2021 has been hot and miserable thanks to the improper installation of a top tier Trane split by Delta Home Services in January of 2021. From April 7th until August 10th, I had 9 services calls for AC failures but no one evaluated the entire system for the cause of a waterlogged handler. On August 13th, Delta replaced the air handler in a level position and allegedly corrected other install issues including lack of coolant, incorrect wiring, etc.

For my inconveniences, Delta offered to SELL me an air scrubber for $900 (going price with other dealers) and refused any other considerations for my additional expenses including the need for mold remediation. Needless to say, I did not buy an air scrubber from Delta. With the new handler, my interior doors near the return duct moved far less but none the less they still moved. I've had a vast internet learning curve about air conditioning since July and know this means the handler is still working too hard.

On August 20th I had the unit checked by a NATE certified technician who found the unit still had low coolant, high static pressure, and kinked duct work to the handler. Unlike Delta's handwritten invoice, this technician proviUhded pictures. As the adage goes, a picture is work a thousand words. The.new handler was heading down the path of the damaged handler On Aug 31st.

I paid another Independent Trane technician to do the necessary work to have this expensive unit function properly. thus incurring further expenses. However, I have a Trane that cools my house without doors shutting and runs quietly. As a consumer, I encourage you to do more homework than I did. I made a decision. to buy this unit from Delta for they had taken over a maintenance contract from another company and I had 6 years left on that contract.

This has been a "penny wise but pound foolish" decision. I will no longer do any business with Delta given their work quality and customer service standards. May you have better luck buying a HVAC.

Requested them to come fix my AC that went out on Monday evening. The service person came out Tuesday morning which was great service. That was the last good thing that happened. He stated that there seemed to be a leak, then did a leak search and refilled it with Free-on. He charged me for filling my free-on, and replaced the capacitor which wasn't mentioned initially. Came back to me an hour later saying it wasn't a leak, something else was wrong.

He then told me it was the compressor. Said they needed to order the part, and someone would call me with a quote. He tried to charge me for a bunch of work he did, which he admitted after I questioned it was unnecessary. I told him I wouldn't pay, so he mentioned signing up for their maintenance service and removed somethings and he cut it in half.

I didn't want to, but didn't want to slow the process down so I signed, but will be disputing with my bank now. No one called for the follow up, so I called Thursday night. A tech shows up to do maintenance that I signed up for, so there was confusion because I thought he was there to fix my broken unit. They scrambled and go get the compressor, come back and do a ton of work and try to charge me $1,500 (a bunch of other companies charge $600 for this).

Then after he's done, it still doesn't work. Now they tell me its the reversing valve, and the compressor was never the issue. Still not sure what I paid $200 for on Tuesday, but they also try to charge me for free-on again, so I kick them out, and now looking for someone to help me. Like Comment Share

My home warranty contracted this company. The man who came was extremely unprofessional. He didn't know how to take apart the unit and was showing me YouTube videos on how to do it myself. Then told the home warranty the unit was just dirty and needed a $1,000 cleaning when in actuality he told me there was "excess moisture" and he didn't "know what the previous owners were doing but it was moldy". Seems like he a. didn't know what he was doing and b. wanted to be paid out of pocket

We had 20 year old units (2) that needed replacement. Delta was recommended by a neighbor and after meeting with the salesperson (Jason I believe) we moved forward with the purchase. Everything was installed and up and running as scheduled and promised. To this point the experience was great. Then the annual service visit occurred. The service group for this company are a bunch of hustlers. Trying to sell you everything under the sun at outrageous prices even though they were just on an annual warranty check-up.

They made the mistake of leaving the compressor saver that they were adamant was needed to keep the one year old unit working properly. They said for $450.00/ea (one required for each unit) they would install while they were there. I took a picture of the parts still in original packaging and did a quick search online (CP 5-2-1 CSRU1) and found the exact same thing listed for $34.00.

I declined to have it installed but this year when I called to have the same check-up made I asked about having the tech install the part and I would buy. This resulted in a call back from one of their service managers (Nema I believe), who said that anything bought on line they could not be installed and maintain the warranty. I said it was identical to what they brought out year before and would arrive in brand new condition from Amazon.

He reiterated he could not do and the call ended. Needless to say I will just call our home warranty people in the future for service and let these guys try to scam someone else. If you do purchase from this company the front end service was great, but keep in mind they will always hustle you on the service side, so beware. Cleve Nyberg Cave Creek, AZ

Delta Air installed two complete systems in our home almost 3 years ago, and I'm at the point where I'll no longer use them. They came back a total of 7 times to fix problems from the original installations, the most recent of which was to reattach the flu that came completely off because they used the wrong tape and it melted through. They even tried to charge me for the repair.

I had a technician from another company here today who went through and found additonal problems with the original installation work, including a code violation. Now I'm spending more money with a new company to fix problems that Delta should have taken care of with the original nstallations. The bottom line is they do substandard work and then try to charge more money to fix the problems they created. If I could post a rating less than a 1 star I would.

Had scheduled a visit with them last week to give a quote and go over details but Jason never showed and he never called to say he could not make the appointment. I texted him and he replied he was busy with another customer and apologized. Rescheduled for today and again he never called and never showed up. I need to replace two units at my house but will not be doing any business with Delta Home Services. Had seen other reviews about lack of communication but can confirm it is a real issue with this company.

I had a 20+-year-old over/under HVAC unit that I knew was needing a replacement. In the spring of 2019, I contacted five HVAC companies to get bids on the replacement. My unit held out and made it through the summer. Come 2020, the unit needed servicing three times and the last two were for the same issue. I knew it was time to get it replaced. I chose Delta Home Services for a couple of reasons. 1.

During my research, the year before the salesperson (Jason) was polite, informative, and thorough in his explanations without being condescending. I felt that he was spending time to educate me on the systems available and how they differed. At that time of my research, Delta came away as my top pick. 2. When the HVAC unit presented with the small problem of blowing lukewarm air, I called my home warranty and they promptly sent someone out to take a look.

That HVAC company couldn't really do anything to fix the issue (sort of frozen coil) and left. Since that was the second time the coil has started to freeze over, I knew there was probably another leak somewhere and it was only a short amount of time before the unit died. I called Delta the near the same time that I contacted my home warranty company and Jason came out that day.

We reviewed the pricing from the previous year (a wee bit more) and withing three phone calls, I was set up for a new unit to be installed the next day! 3. The following day, the installers showed up 20 minutes early and got to work. My unit was so old and corroded that it literally was falling apart in their hands. The crane arrived 50 minutes early and the guys got to work on the install.

Within four hours, start to finish the guys has me up and running. 4. The installers were polite, professional, adhered to pandemic safety protocols, and answered all of my questions. They installed a new thermostat and gave me a high-level overview of its functions. They cleaned the area outside and made sure nothing was left. 5. Jason followed up with me twice after the install to ensure I was happy. Dominique in the office called to set up an appointment with the Field Supervisor who would inspect the install to make sure it's all correct.

He stopped by, checked everything out, and gave me some more instruction on the thermostat. All in all, from the first call last year to the final visit, Delta Home Services took great care of me.

Delta Air Conditioning company gets 0 stars. I will not recommend them to anybody. Delta Air is very unprofessional when it comes to customer service from within their office. I had a new air condition unit installed June of 2017, purchased service agreement contract for 5 years (Predictive Maintenance Agreement) basically they're suppose to come out and maintain the unit, but you have to schedule an appointment for them to come out.

If I purchased service agreement you would think they would have some type of program to call clients that have purchased this agreement for a reminder your unit may need servicing (like car dealers when its time to service your car.) Well anyways in September of 2018 I had experienced a water leak from the brand new unit that was purchased in June of 2017.

The water leak had leaked down into my kitchen and into the pantry. Called Delta Air they sent out technician Caleb and another gentlemen. Service from the technicians was good no issues. They had unclogged the P trap and PVC (service agreement maintenance). That was a service call and was charged $79.00 for service trip charge. I had asked then if anything would be done about the water damage at that time, not knowing that mold was in my wall, I was told that they will give the information to their office manager, well needless to say I didn't hear from the office manager (Brenda). 1 year later July 2019 experienced another water leak from the same area down into the same area. Called Delta Air again.

A guy came out can't remember his name. Once again some piping was cut and changed out, drain was flushed out, and other things to the air conditioner which I can't explain. Well again in August the air conditioner was still leaking called Delta Air again. Aaron was sent out to check and see what was going on. Aaron could not figure out what was the reason.

He flushed out the pipes as well. I asked what about the damages he took pictures and sent them in to his office manager Brenda. Aaron had to come back out again this time he came out with Dave I assuming the owner. They checked the pipes, sprayed something on the coils to possibly stop the leak and stated that he would call Trane the AC manufacture to see what could be causing the leak.

Now the mold started showing in the pantry. I showed Dave he stated, "Spray some bleach on it and it will clear it up" yeah it will clear the out surface, but not what's in the wall. Well needless to say Aaron had to come back out again with another guy didn't get his name. Well they did all this testing and even sprayed some degreaser on the coil, which they thought was the problem. Asked again about the damages what will be done about it. Aaron took more pictures and stated that he will give them to the office manager and someone should be contacting me.

The other guy also stated bleach will not clear up mold in the wall. I called Brenda and asked her how will they take care of the damages due to no fault of my own, Brenda stated that she will talk with the owner and will give me a call back by the end of day this was on a Thursday. Did not hear from Brenda, called time after time the response I would get from the receptionist Veronica is oh "she is not in right now", "she is in a meeting", "she went to lunch at 9:48am", Never heard from Brenda.

After a message was left about filing a claim through my insurance a call was finally returned, stating she will have someone come out and access the damages. Someone came out and access the damages took pictures and informed me that he was not able to do the job and will inform the office manager that they need someone to come out and fix the leak and then have a restoration company to come out and repair the damages. Caleb from Delta Air came out and changed out the pipes, but still no damages were repaired.

After the pipe had been changed out, called the office I was told they will not be repairing any damages because we voided the contract by not having maintenance done. Well if Delta Air technicians coming out changing pipes, flushing pipes is not considered service maintenance, what is that called? I will not recommend them for any jobs whatsoever.

I will be reporting them to the BBB as well. Please review the pictures from the damages that was caused by service. To make the matter worse I have two elderly parents that stay with me. My mother is bed ridden with breathing issues and my father is on dialysis three days a week. The technicians were aware even Dave the owner, because you cannot help but see them when you walk in. Mold is dangerous is for anybody especially with breathing issues.

Very impressed with this company! We used them to install central air in our last home. The process was smooth and efficient. The pricing was also the best out there. Aaron, our technician, is honest and transparent! We have very high confidence with his recommendations. Will be using Delta for updates to our new home for sure!

I can no longer recommend this business because of a negative experience we had the last time a technician was out. During a routine inspection, we were told that we needed a new unit. Carl indicated our compressor was going to fail because the run capacitor was bad. He also indicated the fan motor was going out. According to Carl, it would be "cheaper" to get an ENTIRE NEW unit instead of fixing said items.

We requested a written quote on the repair cost, but we were continually ignored by both Carl, as well as "Bob" in the company office. I had TWO other hvac companies come look at our unit - BOTH said what Carl was telling us was not true. The run capacitor was a cheap "made in China" replacement (installed by Carl a year earlier), and its failure had NOTHING to do with the compressor.

Our unit was undercharged (something Carl never mentioned), and the fan motor going out was normal because of the age of the bearing seals. It ended up costing us $201.49 to completely fix our unit. New run capacitor & fan motor. Goodbye, Delta! BEWARE of these guys!

I just purchased a townhouse in Phoenix. It's older, and the air conditioner was original (1979), and although it worked, there was no doubt that it would need to be replaced soon. I made several calls, and no one had the patience and integrity that the folks at Delta did. I did all of this remotely from my home in Hawaii; texting the owner and making the arrangements.

On the day of installation, I made plans to be in Phoenix - the Delta folks showed up at 7:00 ON THE DOT. They were quick, quiet and thorough. In additional to all of that, they were friendly and professional as well. Air conditioners are not cheap, but I felt like I got a fair price, and the service was magnificent.

Terrible company. My unit is less than 2 years old and has already needed fixed twice. They said I had a 10 year parts and labor warranty which they back tracked on claiming both people who took care of me no longer work for the company. Aaron came out Sunday, July 15th, 2018 to "supposedly" fix my unit then told me he will charge me $110 per pound for freon that costs $7 per pound. Plus, he was NOT going to fix the unit from the underlying purposes that ARE covered under manufacturer warranty.

So then he decided it would be a good time to try and sell me a TRANE unit when I just purchased this new unit from Delta (his company) less than 2 years ago. Carlos claims he doesn't make the units but he also does not take care of his customers. Carlos claimed it would take $1200 to fix the issue after I called him and his employee out for their lack of ability to fulfill my 10 year warranty.

I don't TRUST this company to do any more work for me. I will have another ac company out to verify their truthfulness. $70 and 30 minutes later. Another AC repair company fixed the $1200 problem. I would never use this business if I knew their character at the beginning.

They came out for a free estimate call on a Sunday because we wanted to see our options and our A/C went out on a Friday. We already had George Brazil come out and were quoted over $9,000 from George Brazil for a new A/C unit which was $4,000 more than what they quoted us in April 2016. Jason was the tech who initially came out and did the service call.

Our quote for Delta was approx $3,000 less than George Brazil. Jason was polite and not pushy. We decided to go with Delta versus others, especially instead of G.B. Jaime was the service tech who showed up. Him and two other young men. They were all so polite and very respectful. Jason did show up right before they finished, he did a look over on everything.

The quality of the new unit is exceptional. The new unit is a Trane, and it came with a wifi Thermostat. I would recommend them to family and friends, our interaction with the employees of this company was professional and easy.

They talked my neighbor into a 10 year plan, then kept adding parts on. They never completed the maintenance she paid for, the office is horrible about doing what they say. She's so upset and they just keep picking on her.
