I have worked with Tempest for five years as the Director of the MT Dude Ranchers' Association. They did a great job on updating our website which was very outdated, and were, and still are, always there to answer questions or make changes. The staff is friendly, professional, patient and always willing to help out in a timely manner. They represent several entities in the tourism industry and are well respected. They are worth the five stars I have given them. Check them out!

I had a dishwasher that was broken in March 2021. I contacted my extended warranty company, who contacted Mr. Darrin White, the Owner of Tempest Tech. Me. White never contacted me. I called him, and he was insulting and ignorant. I didn't feel comfortable even allowing him into our home. Now Mr. White is contacting me via Facebook and sending me ignorant messages five months later. Mind you, and I posted the reviews back when the incident took place. This further shows his lack of maturity and professionalism.

I have a warranty through Home Warranty of America. The warranty company issued a claim on 3/2/21. I selected dates for our availability. I never received a follow-up from Tempest Tech Appliance Repair. On 3/11/21, I followed up with them directly to inquire when I would be scheduled. The tech was rude and didn't even say hello, told me to hold on.

He came back and said what company are you with? I said you sent me a text regarding our availability and I never received a follow-up call. He said, I have 8 contracts with different warranty companies who are you? I asked him to slow down and allow to speak. He then became rude and told me don't tell him how to speak. I said, I wasn't but I wasn't allowed to speak and he was treating me rudely.
Darrin White, is a rude and ignorant owner of this company and I would not advise anyone doing business with them.

The other reviews speak to my experience as well. It was clear that they were disorganized and had no clue what was going on. I ended up having to hang up the phone because there was no resolution. I do not recommend working with them. Their customer service is terrible. I called my warranty company and was reassigned to a reliable service provider.

I have never worked with a more attentive, customer service oriented company. They not only have top talent for design but they treat you like gold. I can't say enough great things about working with Shawn and his team. A+ experience!

Do not go with this company, you will be sorry. This place is nothing but a scam. Sean the repair tech who never gets back to you doesn't know anything about dryers. Bad customer service and performance. The issue on my dryer never got resolved and they didn't care. They took the service fee and that is how they make their money for the day. Also they bring family members to your house while they are working. Bad company and very unprofessional!

I was VERY impressed with the follow up. I have a Choice Home Warranty. The Technician, Sean, called that evening and came out the next day. He called when he was running late. He was very professional & pleasant. The parts were mailed to me and Sean will coming back to install. I will always request Sean if I need any work to be completed. When I called his company the person who answered the phone was polite & professional.

These folks may be great at what they do, but they failed me in my one and only call to get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) setup. This was something their website said they did (see image). I am not entirely sure about their other services, but when I called to have a VPN setup like their website said they did, they were not sure themselves. When I called, a kind lady said she was not sure they did anymore, but did place me on hold to check with someone else, and confirmed they do not provide VPN services anymore and also they needed to update their website. So, since I had a total rejection based on their website misinformation, they get what a review based on what I came there for. VPN setup.

I called my home warranty company the evening of 4/24/2017 because my dryer was making a lound noise. They assigned Tempest Tech with the job to make the repairs and I received a call from Darren from Tempest the following moring to try and arrange a time that he could come out to look at the dryer. Althogh he said that they only work until 4pm, Darren was willing to wait until I arrived home from work after 4pm that very evening of 4/25/2017.

He was waiting at my home when I arrived and was very nice. He diagnosed the issue in a matter of 5 minutes and had the rollers that needed to be replaced in his truck. He spent a total of under 1 hour making the repair. It was a pleasure doing business with him and his company and I can see why he has been in business for 30 years. I would highly recommend his company. Thank you Darren and Tempest Tech for your excellent customer service and skill in repairing my dryer!

This company was assigned to repair my dishwasher through my Home Warranty. First appointment went well: technician was on time, assessed the problem and made recommendation to order parts for repair. The parts arrived the following week directly and when I called the technician and company to inform them and to set up a time, they never called me back.

I called three or four times with no response. Finally, the technician called me back and came out to repair the dishwasher. All appeared to go well with the repair until a week later, me tenant informed me it was still leaking. I immediately contacted technician for a follow up appointment and have not heard back- it has been two weeks. During that time, I contacted the company directly who indicated they would have the tech call me to set up an appointment, but that did not happen.

I contacted the tech three more times to kindly request a follow up or for them to assign another tech, but again no response. I needed to contact my warranty company two times to finally have them tell my company that they never received any of my messages and it would be best to get a second opinion with another company. To be honest, I actually preferred that because I no longer wanted to work with them due to their lack of professionalism and customer service.

I strongly recommend to this company to work on their customer service. To respond to their customer's call and to keep them in the loop. Because of this experience, I would not recommend them to anyone.

This company is clueless when it comes to repairs. I have a Whirlpool dishwasher that stopped drying and filed a claim with my warranty company. The guy who came out tested the heating element and it was working fine. He claimed it needed a new panel and would be back in a week. I called 3 times and they never called back very unresponsive! I called yesterday and the guy who answered said "Oh it's a plastic drum those dishwashers don't dry" I said that's bs.

He hung up on me because I told him he's wrong. I called Whirlpool and they walked me through the solution it was my rinse aid dispenser. I highly recommend selecting another company.

They accepted a claim for my malfunction fridge (time is of the essence) from my home warranty service. I called several times and received no call back. When someone did answer I was quickly brushed of saying they would "forward it to their scheduling deparment." Of course I didn't hear back from them. The next day I was contacted by my warranty company saying someone else would be handling the claim. so I lost a day while my fridge is not working waiting for this company. Annoying to say the least.

Horrible response time. Scam artists. I get the impression that they really don't have any actual technicians. The rep that came to my house didn't even have any tools with him. We are still waiting for a return call from more than a month ago. TERRIBLE!

I have been trying to get our ice maker fixed for a few months now. We had been told by frigidaire to use Tempest Tech Appliances. Our experience with them has been frustrating.they have given us a few names of repirmen that will come but so far no oneshows up or calls back. If they don't know how to fix refrigerators i wish they hadtold us months ago.

Been without a washer for a month depending on these guys to fix it through my warranty Sean came out 4 times and its still broke his father came out once and ordered a new part, yet again still broken then lie to the company that sent them out saying it was working when his son left. Totally non-square dealing I paid for a fixed washer but didn't receive what I paid for.
