Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness, Value I have called this Company over 30 Times and left over 20 Voice Mails with them. Nobody ever returned my phone calls and nobody ever answers the office phone. I want them to come out and do repair work to the Work they did on pool deck about 8 months ago. Service: Remodeling

Had to fire them. They were putting us off for months. You can read all the poor reviews by others. The owner speaks to you so sweet until he get the contract and then he becomes a violet crazy man if you want to know what is going on. He is dangerous in my book I do not want a screaming contractor yelling at me.

Do not use this company they did a horrible job on our pool about four years ago! If I could give it less than one star I would! After six months concrete was already showing through the pool when we called to have the issue looked at he sent someone else to patch the concrete and he patched it with the wrong color it never matched and came off within a few weeks.

When we asked him to repair this again within the first year of it being completed he threw a hissy fit and got defensive. The pool shape is uneven his workers were very unskilled the steps in the pool were completely unlevel and we had to make him redo it multiple times to the point where my husband put a level on the step for accuracy and now four years later the Pool surface is coming off completely with tons of concrete patches on the bottom.

There were many other issues during the construction and every time we asked for things to be fixed he would get angry and yell at us for the rest of the payment even though he was not finished threatening to sue us and put a lien on our property. The pool surface we have should be a 25 year warranty and we now need to redo the entire surface in less than five years!

As much as I would like the owner to fix this at his cost I do not trust this man as far as I can throw him! Unethical rude absolute criminal. He had the nerve to come into my home when I was pregnant and yell at me for his terrible work! I pray his company goes bankrupt as I've recently seen it is! I truly wish I could post a photo of what our pool looks like, do you have any response to this Mike?

Do Not Purchase a Pool from Unique. Mike comes over and he was so nice I just had to purchase from him. I ask him if they did small pools like I wanted he said they did all sizes. ( I am Handicap and used a pool for movement and have since I was a child) I proceeded with him. When I ask him how long would it take he said 4 weeks from start. The contract was signed August 2020 and Now it is the end of January of 2021 and all I have is hole.

If I questions he acts like a crazy man yelling and screaming. He dug the hole finally in Dec 2020. and the hole sat for one month So again I needed to stay on this and ask what the heck is going on. He then goes nuts again. He has mental issues and tries to make you feel like you are in the wrong. He told me to get someone else to do my 25000.00 pool he has big ones to do.

I said that is just what I thought. He proceeded to scream. He says he screams because I ask him questions. ok? My question why he is nice when he wants me to sign a check but when he has spent his fair share he turns into a screaming person. He tells me to get someone else to finish. Sure he has been over paid and the rest of the pool is labor. Also I just read on other post he is going Bankrupt and that must be why he keeps asking me for money. Please stay away. there are a lot of nice pool companies out there, pass this one by and you will save yourself a bunch of problems.

Mike and his crew(s) built the perfect pool for our space. From the idea to his design to the completion, which was in the most timely manner, Mike always did what he told us. Not only should you stay as far away as possible from this company but run as fast as you can the opposite direction! The owner Mike is nothing but a crook who hires out subs who have no idea what they are doing. The minute he has your deposit that nice guy attitude is gone and good luck ever getting ahold of him other then when he wants your final payment! Did an absolutely horrible job on our pool, refused to show up on job site when issues arose and then will threaten to sue you and put a lean on your property if u don't make the final payment immediately!

Not only is my finish sub par, I have serious doubts in its lifespan. My main drain no longer functions correctly and had to had my deck surface redone from all the damage and material the installers sloppily got everywhere. Do your reaserch unlike me and you will find plenty of complaints just like mine about mike and his company online.

We are very happy with our pool and spa that Unique recently installed for us. Mike is very hands on and makes sure everything gets done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Unique Pools because they do quality work and care about customer satisfaction.

I cannot say enough good things about what a professional job Unique Pools & Designs did for us on designing and constructing our new dream pool and landscape. Everything was done efficiently and timely. We shopped around for a while, but they were by far the best choice for us, considering the quality of their work, professionalism and the price. Unique Pools, did an incredible job on remodeling my pool area, from start to finish the process was seamless. Mike and his team did an outstanding job from planning to construction to clean up. I would recommend them for any type or work, new pools and remodels they are a great company with an tremendous team.

I called unique pools about getting an estimate to install pavers over my concrete pool deck, we set up a time and date for this paver estimate. unique was to be at my home on September 13 at 3pm. we changed our plans to be home for them. they never called or showed up. typical Florida work ethic on their part. would not recommend this company for anything. there are plenty of other companies out there that want this kind of work.

As I write this note, we are admiring the beautiful island oasis in our backyard. We couldn't be happier with the work you've done here. We appreciate the time you took to listen to what we wanted, add your own expertise, and pull togather the finished product. The end result is just what we hoped it would be.
