We had the company come Out (on Angie's list) they said they needed to order the part. After several calls they finally ordered the part. The employee came over with a bad attitude. He told me to HUSH in my own home. He actually screamed that he was suppose to go to a doctors appointment and was going to stroke out. He left and SLAMMED my front door.

That caused the lock on the door to not connect. We fixed that ourself. We called and got the bill to pay it. I will never hire their people again. I was scared that this guy would come back. I spoke with Zoey and others and they apologized. Yeah in this world with crazy repairmen in your home it was a bad experience.

West coast installed Nest smart thermostat, changed filters, cleaned coils on my 2 central AC. Everything was done for FREE (paid by LADWP). Ben helped me to arrange appointment for next day. Recommend to everyone. They also repair appliances and heaters

Critical: Responsiveness I do not recommend this company. They charged me to evaluate my dishwasher, told me what was wrong and said they would repair it in a few days. They never followed through. Service: Dishwasher repair

This company was very reliable and responsive in fixing my washing machine. They fixed my washer when another company would not. (see previous posts). They were professional and qualified, no problems whatsoever with them. I will use them in the future if needed. Service: Washing machine repair

We hired them to instal a $8k+ AC unit. From day one it leaked into our building. They came out multiple times to repair and every time kept charging us even though it was a brand new unit they installed. They also never fixed the problem! Eventually I hired my handyman to come in and fix it. I was trying to fight them on the numerous invoices they sent but they persisted that I needed to pay for each service. I would never use them again.

I made appointment 3 days in advance told me will come between 9-2 Never came and did not call me that they are not coming I called them at 3:00 told me " We can not relocate the technician"

Stay away from this company. After I paid $250 which they said would be deducted from the ultimate cost of the repair, they told me that the failed parts were under warranty but that they would not call the manufacturer to get the warranty parts. They wanted me to do that and supply the parts to them. (BTW you do not have to be an authorized repair shop to order warrantied parts.

They said they couldn't order them but that was a lie) So basically I take all the risk and they get paid. And they refused to refund my $250. I called someone else who of course to care of getting the parts and also explained to me how the first technician damage my fridge further because of his lack of experience.

I used this company through my home warranty to repair my A/C during the summer. Of course it was a week filled with 90+ degree temps. -.- The problem turned out to be a broken blower motor. Since I had an old furnace, they had to order my part. So I waited 3 days until they came back to replace the part. The guy, Vlad, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Knew what he was doing.in & out in no time & I had COOL A/C the rest of summer! I will definitely be using this company again in the future!

I have had a HORRIBLE experience with West Coast Chief Repair! I was having problems with my freezer- not cooling and making a loud clicking noise. I got an appt on a Sat. The tech showed up Sat, took a look and said he needed to come back on TUES with parts. So, I took a 1/2 day off work. He was supposed to be at my place between 9 and 10. The tech called me at 10 saying he didn't get the supplies and he'd have to come back another day. So, I had to take another 1/2 day off work and we scheduled for Thurs.

He showed up, took about 30 min fixing my freezer. He told me it would take 24 hours for it to start cooling again. I waited a full 24 hrs and my freezer was still not cooling and the clicking was still there. I made another appointment for SAT between 10 and 2. My appointment was confirmed. I waited until about 1:30, then called to make sure the tech was on his way.

They then told me they made a mistake, there was no tech coming and they couldn't get another one out today. I've had to throw away everything in my freezer and now I'm trying new companies. I would not suggest this company.

We rent so I hope my landlord didn't pay too much. Our apartment had a really old, nearly antique stove so when it went bad they were quick to suggest a total replacement. Didn't even open or tinker with the old one.

I showed up with no appointment. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my phone screen, which was shattered, was fixed in ten minutes. Highly, highly recommended!

Scheduled through Home Warranty company for one of two A/C units. Repairman broke the working one and blew out circuit breaker. Booked to come back between 9am-1pm (generous window to sit waiting). At 12:47 was told he was on his way.

Over the past year, I have had recurring issues with both of my central air conditioning units. After ineffective repairs by other contractors, West Coast Chief Repair's technician, Leon, inspected the HVAC systems, promptly identified the problem, and installed the equipment needed.

We've had recurring trouble with our Bosch dishwasher for the past few years and our home warranty company keeps sending out technicians who are incredulous toward my wife, rude and make the two of us feel like idiots for simply having an (extremely well-kept) appliance that doesn't seem to wash dishes well.
