I bought a Maytag washing machine from Home Depot in March 2022, it was delivered in April and broke down the first week of June. I made a appt through Home Depot for early June, and the appt was cancelled same day but no one told me so I just waited. They then told me I had to have it serviced by Flamingo per Maytag, I made an appt for 6/14, I confirmed the day before by calling them and speaking to Max but they never came.
I made another appointment for 6/22 but the tech, Chris, could not resolve my issue. He told me he would be back on 6/30 either in the morning or late afternoon and assured it would be fixed at that time. I texted him at 11:02 am on 6/29 to finalize the time, and after 5pm he texted he was not coming, did not know who is coming and did not respond when I asked for a contact at his company that could help me. No one picks up their number. I am making payments for a new broken machine, abbot do laundry, and this company has just been apathetic.

Awful service and unable to fix whirlpool washer. Came out 4 times, replaced computer board twice, motor once, washer still doesnt work. In addition, they do not speak live, only via text. We only need them to call whirlpool so that whirlpool approves a new washer. They won't call us, show up for service calls or call Whirlpool

Standard Operating Procedure: notify the customer service will be between an 8am-5pm window 7+ days out. Customer Must responded or will be canceled. Additionally Tech will call, must respond or will be canceled, don't miss the critical phone call. > 1st service call 7+ days wait time, water pump failure on the new dishwasher. > 2nd appoint for correct pump, rescheduled at the last minute. > 3rd appointment, 7+ days, rescheduled the day of again. > 4th appointment, no ETA, wrong parts ordered/delivered. Told that there are already plenty in stock prior week, easy 20min fix.
Low confidence level that the $600+ dishwasher warranty will be honored. Recommendation: confirm warranty service provider, and review the service rating before making an appliance purchase. If I could give 0 stars I would. This service is not only "not good" as stated in the star rating, but it is TERRIBLE. They are running a circus with a bunch of clowns as technicians. They don't know their head from their ass! These people have not only charged me for parts that I didn't need but after coming to my house 8 times they still don't have it right AND have now ordered another $300 part that I don't need. I have dealt with a broken refrigerator since March 21st! Stay as far away from these people as you can!

This company charged me $466 to fix my dishwasher and never fixed it and now they are refusing to return my money. I don't even know where to being with the horrible service this joke of a company barely attempts to provide. The original service was on 4/28/22. After multiple attempts they still haven't fixed my problem and I had to call my bank because they will not refund your money.
I waited two days for a supervisor to call me. Never happened so I called and spoke to the highest supervisor (Laura). She was the nastiest person who only made excuses and hung up the phone on me. Don't waste your time with this company!

We've had a warranty with Flaming services for several years. Our Doble oven as per their explanation needs a new mother board and was ordered from Jenn Air on 1/12/22, 5 month ago. I understand the current situation with chain of supply being what it is in our current time, but 5 month later? Their seems to be no sense of urgency or in updating us on the status or how much longer do we need to wait for the part from Jenn Air?

As a professional in the Appliance industry I have heard and addressed many issues with this company however my recent personal experience confirms all of the doubts and concerns I have ever heard. I almost never leave reviews, good or bad. But I have to say this one of the most poorly run operations I've had to deal with. The fact that it's taken almost two months to fix our washer, after the parts have been available (confirmed my Maytag) is unacceptable. Once they came, they did not even fix the issues and left. When we called, they said it's going to be two more weeks before they can come back. So, almost two months and NO resolution, no feedback and no returned calls. I'm sure I'll get some reply on here to follow up and how they are sorry about my experience, but they won't do anything. Thanks for wasting MY time Flamingo!

Not only that they replaced the wrong part. They cancelled my 3rd and 4th appointment due to technician calling out. Unacceptable. Talked to a Supervisor to express my concerns cancelled all services with them but they were keep calling me the following days to schedule an appointment as a technician is in the area. Very unprofessional ans poor management. Won't recommend.

He quickly identified the problem and indicated that a warranty part would need to be ordered. He promptly returned with the part and repaired the oven. All issues were fixed. A Jeremy G. from Flamingo Appliances responds to a service request from KitchenAid website. This individual couldn't stop talking while diagnosing my on wall combination microwave and Oven. He reads error code and presses some keys and gives me a long list of problems with the microwave. The board is bad, and it is very risky to fix it. Every YouTube video clearly states the issue is with the fuse and door switch.
Then he recommends buying a used oven from Bob Bailey, Britts or American Standard. Obviously, he did not want to fix it. Charges $149 and leaves. I call another mechanic and he removes the appliance on to a dolly and fixes the fuse and door lock in 45 mins. Do not work with this company. Look at the reviews on Yelp. There seems to be some sort of cooperation between this company and others. Look at the attached photo of my microwave in action after it was fixed by another mechanic

Don't call this company unless you are stuck having to use them for warranty service. After waiting five weeks for a refrigerator repair; it is now broken again with the same problem. The next appointment is in a week. Then they will have to order parts that will take a week and then another week for the tech to install. And of course, they are SO SORRY that they can't do anything to help me.

I called Flamingo Appliance Service because of a very satisfactory repair on my gas dryer in the past. This service call was not at all satisfactory. Matthew Merricks was the tech dispatched by Flamingo Appliance Service. My appointed time for service was between 11 A.M. & 2 P.M. The tech arrived at 2:30 P.M. and after arriving, was on the phone with another customer discussing her problem with a dishwasher.
He diagnosed my dryer and said that a new fuse was needed, and I had a new one in the original unopened package.from a previous service call. The tech installed the fuse but said it too didn't work, but he thought he had one in his truck and installed it. It worked for about five minutes while the tech was there. The tech left me his cell phone number in case the dryer needed additional service.
He gave me a business card which provided the company contact information and his personal cell number. He also requested $100 for his service, which he pocketed, and I paid the service call fee via credit card. The invoice sent to me via email contained statements concerning the gas line needing repair, which was not true. Terrible! Tech tried to convince me that the machine going into drain mode by itself is normal. That is ridiculous! Described water from the machine that flooded laundry room. Tech claimed he couldn't find a problem because he didn't see the flood. Took pix when it happened again. Tech said he'd be by that afternoon. Haven't heard from him since. Totally incompetent. Will never use these people again!

I wish I could give five stars but not all the repair people are as good as they need to be. Also, took almost six months to get our brand new refrigerator door replace. They ended up sending three doors to my house and they still haven't picked up one door that is taking up much needed space in my garage. No one is telling me when they will come get it.

They came to fix my brand new washing machine. Whatever the serviceman did, didn't work. Called for another service, which I had to argue with them about not charging me to come again for work they never repaired originally. They give you an appointment from 8-5 & never called to give a smaller window. The second appointment they never showed up. Look elsewhere. They're not reliable & they don't have a clue what they're doing.

This company is the worst! The service guy was absolutely useless! When I filed a complaint, the department manager said she wanted to help but only wanted to tell me why they were in the right. When I tried to tell her what actually happened, she said if I was going to try to talk over her, she was hanging up and did! If you have any other choice, DO NOT USE FLAMINGO!

My rep (Jeremy) was amazing, he explained the problems thoroughly and made it so easy for the process to be fixed. When he did not find the initial error he came back out and services at a time I was able to be home. He really supported my time and took care of the items I needed. I was so pleased with his performance. Details to product that needed service and when things did not go right, he made sure to make it right.
The ordering parts process and professionalism he exhibited was unmatched. Even when I had to send a message after hours to prove my case he understood. I love this company and it also encouraged me to make sure all my other appliances were checked, serviced and in good standing.

Hired these guys to repair a 2 year old Maytag washer. The washer would not drain during the drain cycle. After waiting three weeks they charged me a $150 fee to diagnose the problem which they said was a paper clip. First time I used the washer it broke with the same problem. Then they wanted to charge me another $150 for a service call fee. I escalated and finally got them to leave. Bought a new washer and will not only never buy another Maytag but will never hire these guys.

Here are the facts, hence you can develop an opinion based on such: Forced to use them by KitchenAid. First appt. was a week out only to diagnose the problem. Subsequent appt. was for actual repair, initially another week out. They cancelled the day of the appt. to reschedule over a week out only to cancel again (they cancelled the day of). The. next appointment was over two weeks out.
If you do not (which we did) answer the phone to confirm the appointment, they will cancel the appointment. Customer service is inflexible, no regard for the coordination required to be available for an appointment. Also.the appointment window is the entire business day (8-5. I strongly do not recommend the company.

Update. My refrigerator and freezer are still not working after 4 tech repair dates. They installed a new compressor after ordering the wrong one 2 different times. After installing the compressor the tech grabbed his tool and left saying if it does not work call back in. Well it did not work and I had to wait another week + to have another call put in.
The last tech called and stated that the refrigerator and freezer are unpreparable and that he will document it and send it to whirlpool. This was a LIE! he stated that he didn't work on this system to the company. So he was a no show and lied to me. I am now having to setup another service call and wait another week to get another tech out here.
This company is unprofessional and their techs do not have enough knowledge to repair Whirlpool equipment. Look at other companies in your area to repair Whirlpool equipment and stay away from this company at all costs. Very impressed with my service rep Jeremy G. I loved the fact that he called first to confirm the questions for COVID-19, which let me know this company is on point for my family's safety as well as their employees. He arrived with masks & booties. His work ethic was excellent. He answered all of my questions and went over additional features for my dishwasher that I did not know. One of the worst appliance repair experiences I've had. They charge a $135 dispatch and diagnostic fee. Once the technician showed up. He didn't even take a look at the back of my washer, he only squatted down, looked at my gasket and told me I need a new washer because there was some lint stuck in the holes. My washer is fairly new from 2018.
I am highly unsatisfied and I can't believe that he wouldn't even address the problem in the back of my washer. Didn't even want to move it and look. Both the customer service reps and technician were acting like robots, following the script without actually connecting with me and explaining the service. Don't use them, I can't believe Whirlpool would even work with them.

I really believe the entire service and customer care teams have no clue what means to not have a stove working for months. Besides the fact they send multiple technicians, they are not able to solve the issue and their customer service is arrogant and not at all customer oriented. I have been waiting 4 months for a service repair on my wine refrigerator. I finally received a call back 2 weeks ago to scheduled the repair. The day of service I received a call saying their repair service man called out of work and they have to reschedule me. Again this morning, the repair man called out of work AGAIN and they have to reschedule me.
When I asked when they were coming the woman on the phone hung up and did not schedule me a new (3rd) service appointment. I've been on hold trying to get this scheduled and someone picked up the phone and hung up. Very poor customer service, employees call out regularly and they do not answer the phone. Do not use this company of you actually want your whirlpool appliances repaired!

I had the worst experience with this company. I sincerely suggest that you DO NOT USE THEM. My 2 year old Kitchen Aid Glass Cooktop suddenly stopped working. I called Kitchen Aid and reported the problem. They recommended Flamingo Appliance Service to come to my house and repair it, and quoted me approximately $ 130.00 for the labor. When the day of the appointment came, the person that came was a joke!
He came with NO intention, whatsoever, to repair my cooktop. He had no parts, no tools and most importantly NO WILL to repair it. Without making a real effort to check the appliance, he complained that it was too difficult to take the cooktop out of the countertop, and stated he needed an assistant. He said this would have an extra charge (of over $100.00 extra), bringing the total to over $ 300.00.
Since I had no choice but to accept, I said ok. The "technician" proceeded to ask for and charge my credit card for the repair fees, and then proceeded to make another appointment for a future date. It was then that I questioned, how could he charge my credit card, when he had not even started the job of repairing it?!. He quoted that I had to pay up-front, and I declined, and told him to take a hike.
I called Kitchen Aid and complained, even spoke to a supervisor. But they too were less than helpful, stating that that was the only company in my area that they used, and declined to stand by their product and provide me with another cooktop. I have decided to purchase another cooktop (possibly Miele) that I know are serious and stand by their products.

Do not use. This is the protection plan, on a Home Depot Maytag appliance. the repairman came and typical didn't have the part, typical the manufacturer was already closed, it would take a week since Monday was a holiday. Technician was due out today between 12-3pm. Received a call that he called out and there is no other back up. WHATTTT! The service was scheduled and the error code was given to Flamingo when the appointment was scheduled. The error code for this particular dryer would certainly equate to certain parts required to rectify this problem. And yet the serviceman showed up without parts and and after examining the dryer and the error code, he checked and announced that the part or parts would not be available for 3 weeks.
So when they arrive, Flamingo will notify us and then we'll have to make another appointment to wait for another 3hour window to get another serviceman out to install the parts and ensure the dryer works. This is a dryer we have barely used and it already shows trouble and then we're saddled with an incompetent service company to perform maintenance. A two for one deal. Thanks.

Their protocols and processes are terrible. You can confirm by both email and text multiple times and they will still show up at your house call you once and leave. won't even ring the doorbell. What kind of company has you confirm multiple times and comes to your front door and doesn't even ring the bell? Then leaves and says they can't come back for 10 days.

Booked a repair of torn fridge seal with Whirlpool extended warranty. Got an appointment 2 weeks later. Technician shows up with no seal. Takes picture and leaves. Why did he waste my time if he didn't have the seal? Schedules another appointment 2 weeks later. Different technician shows up and replaces seal. He asks did first guy tell you how to avoid tearing this seal? No, so he tells me to close left door first, then right one. Not the first time it took more than one visit to repair a Whirlpool appliance. I would not use this company if I didn't have to.

Always prompt service. Jason and Miguel both are excellent, polite, efficient, and love their jobs. Miguel helped me with warranty research (and saved me a bundle of money!). Jason patiently answered all my questions and taught me so much about how to take care of my appliances. I love them and so appreciate this company!

I would not recommend. They were a no show on day one. Day 2 he fixed the ice maker but said he needed to order a part. Weeks later they come and tech said he didn't have to replace the part since the ice maker was working. He could have called and asked. Instead I wasted 2 days of work. Management really didn't care.

I had the worst experience with Flamingo Appliance. After 3 weeks of the initial appointment with a non functioning refrigerator in my kitchen, I called to see the hold up. They said they couldn't find the part. I called the 1-800 number for kitchen aid inside my refrigerator and they directed me to order the part and I had it shipped overnight. I called flamingo to let them know I had the part and now that can't install because they didn't order the part themselves!
Never again will I use this company! I had a supervisor call me. She would not provide me with her last name and was so rude that she hung up on me. Her name was "Stephanie".

Flamingo Appliance is awful! They are the service company for my Maytag appliances that I purchased from Lowe's in October of 2020. I began experiencing problems with both appliances at the beginning of February. Two technicians have been to my house and neither appliance has been fixed. The first technician told me the vent was the problem on. my dryer.
He made some adjustments and that did not fix the problem. He came back out and told me I needed a new drum. That part had to be ordered and I waited another month for another technician to come out and tell me it's not the drum. It's the motor. He said my last technician was from Miami and didn't know what he was talking about. Of.

Alexis was wonderful! He was prompt and professional and explained everything in detail regarding lead times related to the pandemic. Flamingo was also very prompt in scheduling the follow up appointment once our part came in. I cannot complain about anything especially with all that is going on these days.

We received a great service from Flamingo Appliances. Our new microwave was making weird noises so Whirlpool sent us Flamingo technicians to take a look at it. The technician was very professional, came when promised, he came with boots covers and mask. After analyzing the noise he said i needed a new ventilator which was available next Tuesday. The next week he came back as promised and installed the piece.
It was under warranty so I didn't have to pay anything. But in my opinion the company is very professional, the technician is very knowledgeable and overall it was a great experience.

I purchased a high end Kitchen Aid refrigerator from Fortney's in early March of 2019. This December (2020--the refrigerator is about a year and a half old), it started to leak and then it stopped cooling in the same day. I called Fortney's and told them the situation. They couldn't even recommend a service provider to help me and offered NO service help whatsoever.
I found Kitchen Aid service providers on my own and all of them claim that Kitchen Aid knows that this particular product has a bad compressor, however, I was never notified about this by either Kitchen Aid NOR Fortnoy's. Unacceptable. One service company told me that they couldn't find any compressors for this appliance but if they could, the job would cost $2000. Meanwhile, I called the factory service 5 times in 2 days, as the compressor has a 10-year warranty which is clearly stated in my manual.
I finally was able to schedule a certified service provider to come out to look at the refrigerator--for 11 days after it died--however, when I called to see if they'd have the part that seems to be in high demand, they refused to answer me. I then again reached out to Fortney's, who finally answered me via email and engaged a service company (Flamingo Appliance Service) to come out sooner than I had previously scheduled on my own.
The provider came out and claimed that the part isn't under warranty, and when I said it was, the repair person laughed as if I caught them in a lie, and then claimed they couldn't fix it because the part is not available. The repair person also acted as if he was doing me a favor by not charging me for coming to do absolutely nothing to help me. I have been given no answers in this experience, except for additional headaches. DO NOT USE FLAMINGO.

When I made the appointment they asked for model and serial number of my dryer. When the repairman arrived and hooked a computer to my dryer, he determined that they were "no longer making parts" for my 10 year old appliance, so it couldn't be repaired. Gee, you'd think a reputable business would have told me that when I called. Now I'm out $135 for the visit, and STILL need to get a new dryer. Don't waste your time or money on this company.

Flamingo tried to repair my oven but instead, they damaged it further. Now they are not responding to any of my inquiries. A technician came from this company to fix my Jenn-Air oven in May 2020. The oven had issues that would make it restarts once every few weeks. The technician called the manufacture and got approval to fix the unit which was still under warranty.
He ordered parts and replace them. After he replaced those parts the unit's condition got worse. It started freezing every day and it now not usable 99% percent of the time. Flamingo sent multiple technicians again and they changed more parts but the unit is still not working. Now, they are stating that the unit is out of warranty and won't repair what they did.

HAD to add my comments from a commendation letter I've just written: Good afternoon! We fretted and worried over what to do when our Maytag refrigerator began to fail! I contacted the company and learned we were past the one year warranty, so were left with either attempting repair (we DREADED that experience!) or buying a new one.

This company's inability to keep a scheduled appointment time, or even show up with the right part, is comical. I have no idea if they can actually repair an appliance, as they have been out to the house twice with the wrong parts, and have now cancelled an appointment (that I took a vacation day for!) with no notice.
