Reasonbly fast but it's like a hurricane hitting your property. Torn window screens, ripped BBQ cover, dented stucco, stained walls. We really regret using them.

Critical: Professionalism My neighbors got a new roof, and this company gave me the pleasure of garbage strewn all over my front and back yard with no one to clean it up. but me.

They just did my senior neighbors roof. Wbat a scam. Wrong drip edge on the front. Raw wood showing on the front sofit. They told my neighbors that the gutter will hide it. Buckling shingles and and it looks like shit. Get someone else to do your roof. If they are that cheep you will pay again to have it redone. S&s is shitty shinging!

I am very upset with this company. We called them about a dip in our roof, and the salesman said they would know what it was when they took off the shingles. They took off the shingles, put on new ones, and never said a word. It looked worse than before, because I now know it was a broken truss! A competent roofer should have been able to diagnose that on sight.

They are trying to put a band-aid on it to repair it after the fact. Do not use them! Edit update--They are working to fix the problem now, so I will report back when there has been a change. I will change my star review from 1 to 3 for now, to reflect that they are working on it now. Further update: They "sistered" the truss with some extra supports, so the dip is greatly reduced. I will change it to 4 stars for now, and will report if the repair doesn't hold. They told me that they will stand by the repair in the future, so I will see.

Your tv commercials are the most annoying things I have ever experienced in my life. Please please stop. Make some new ads without your annoying "call s and s roofing". Chorus. I would never hire you because of these stupid annoying advertisements

They redid my roof in 2015. Quick to provide an estimate and fast to get the job done. Our house looks great and the roof still looks as good and solid as the day they did it.

I have had a very good experience with S&S Roofing. They did a whole new roof on my house in November 2017. The roof turned out great and we have had no problems. Last week we noticed that the rain collar on one of the roof flashings had worn out. I called S&S (almost 2 years after they did our roof) and they sent Justin out to look at it. After Justin got on the roof and looked at it he told me that not only were they gonna replace that pipe flashing but they replaced all the pipe flashings that same day at no cost to me.

The rain collars on the pipe flashings had a manufacturing defect so the rubber didn't hold up well in the sun and I was very thankful that S&S fixed it right away without any hassle even after it had been almost 2 years.

I had them come out for estimate on my house and the project manager was Leon and he was estimating for a leak on my roof. We came to an agreement of what needs to be done. Then he asked if he can go on my roof to get a sample of my roofing tile so he can get the closest match possible, I said sure. Well he goes up there and then says no theres more repair to be done, this whole valley between the house and the garage needs to be replaced.

Exact words on the estimate remove shingles in the valley, install new shingles in the valley and I said OK let's do it if it needs repairing. They charged me $1600 for the second estimate. The first estimate to do the original was $900. I paid $800 that day. A month later they finally came and fixed my roof. THEY DID NOT do what they said what the invoice said.

They fixed the leak that the original estimate was, but my valley was never removed or replaced completely. They put less than 14 shingles on the area. When I got home from work it was dark. As soon as I saw the work that we agreed upon was not done I called them. They said they would find out what happened and get back with me. This was Oct. 10, 2019.

I received a missed call from them on Dec.10, 2019 and again on Jan. 6 2019. Never have I gotten a response from the numerous calls I did between Oct. 11,2019 till now.... Today, I got a bill for 600.00 for less than 14 shingles put on my roof. I'm contacting my lawyer. Do not use this company

Called for an estimate 2 1/2 weeks ago. Said they could not be here till the 24th at 4pm. I said ok. On the 24th Josh called at 1:15pm saying he could do it now and could I meet him. I said no, I am at work but he could do the estimate then send it to me and call with questions. He said I would have it that night. Friday afternoon and no bid. I called Josh and left a message. 10-28 still no bid.

I called their office and was told Josh didn't answer their call and they would find out and let me know. 10-31 still no contact or bid. I called the office again and was told that Josh was behind on paperwork and would have the bid to me by 11-1 morning at the latest. As of today 11-4 evening I still have not received the bid. Nor any contact from Josh or their office. Josh was recommended by friends and this is what I get! I went with another Company and will not recommend S and S Roofing to anyone and tell people of my experience.

Critical: Professionalism Bill was higher than quoted. When I questioned amount I was told to pay that day or it would be turned over to collection attorney the following morning. I guarantee they'll be your lowest bid.then they'll add thousands to your final bill. TV ad says "Call S&S Roofing Today".but I say don't.

Had a leaky roof due to low quality chimney flashing. Got 3 estimates, S&S was in the middle, but seemed better quality than the lowest. They were willing to drop the estimated price slightly to meet in the middle. Once I agreed to the price, they had the work done within a week. Most importantly, the work they did seems to be high quality. They suggested installing crickets (not the insects) behind the chimneys, and they matched the shingles well. Leak is gone.

I also had them replace a small section of gutter, and they went above and beyond to adjust to some of my needs. Threw in a second downspout at no extra costs. All around a good experience.

Heard an ad on the radio and so I called them. They came out and quoted my roof. Took a couple of days for the quote to come back. I then emailed the guy and told him he was high and that if he wanted a shot at it he would need to sharpen his pencil and requote the roof. After several days I emailed him again and asked him if he was interested in doing the new quote. Said he was very busy and he will get to it. It's now been 2 weeks and still haven't heard from him. I'm not impressed with them. If This is how they are going to treat my quote, imagine my roof. No thanks.

We had S&S install a roof with 30-year shingles 14 1/2 years ago. They failed this winter. We are in need of a new roof again. The first two or three years after installation we also had leaks. S&S was great about coming and repairing them. They must-matched the color of shingle. Nice people, but they chose poor quality products for our home, and we are paying a price for it.

Called S&S for an estimate for a leak & sky light 9/21, was told would be out Friday 24th no particular time. Thought that was reasonable but called office Fri. morning to get a time frame, woman said 1-2pm. At 2pm called office was told John (the guy on the way says appointment was for 3-4 pm. OK fine. (This is like a two hour job for just the leak which was the priority) The guy climbs up the roof looks for 5min. packs up & says he'll call with the estimate NEXT week! PS its raining.

Now next week comes & its Friday a week later I call the office that morning & ask about the estimate they say they'll get John to call.it is now 2:43pm & no call. WELL.Dont Bother your busy self with this & when I think of your ad on tv I'll know what a farce your outfit is.

We paid S and S Roofing to install a new roof in November of 2015. An additional $1,500 was paid to remove all of the extra layers in the roof. A couple weeks later, a portion of the job was still incomplete and we had to repeatedly contact them to get someone to come out to finish the job. 4 months later the job was completed.

Now a month later we have an inspector come to the home.

The inspector finds excessive amounts of roof debris in the attic. Not just some small pieces that one might expect to see from a roof replacement, but also large boards littering the entire attic. The inspection discovered that the debris had compromised the electrical cords as well as the insulation. We had to call S and S Roofing multiple times to get them on the phone to request that they remedy the situation.

Each time getting the response that the person I needed to talk to, Amy, was always on the other line and after leaving multiple messages would still not call back for many hours or days. Their response to the situation was that this debris must have been there the whole time. However, we had an inspection when buying the home that showed no such debris.

Their response to the electrical cords being compromised was that "it has been 4 months, if there hasn't been an issue yet, there won't be." They said that debris like this is common after a roof job - but when you pay to have the wood removed from the home, you don't expect it to be dumped back into the attic. This isn't a normal result of a roof replacement, this is unprofessional.

We have tried to work with them to remedy the situation, but they sit behind a claim that they are in no way responsible for any issues that arise in the home as a result of the job. They haven't made any attempts to work with us, leaving us no other option but to go to the Better Business Bureau for a fair resolution. Most of us do not check our attic after a roof project, but if you have had your roof replaced by them, I would highly recommend that you check it out.

It is likely that they left large amounts of roof material there and it could be jeopardizing your home. We picked them for the job due to their pride in their customer service and claims for "safe installations", but when they dropped the ball, they weren't at all concerned with getting the job done right.

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate. They canceled due to weather, which was fine and appropriate. However, we were headed out of town and we just told them they could go on the roof without us there the next day and they agreed and stated they'd send the estimate via email. Well after no response or email in over 3 weeks I followed up with the company and left a voicemail and never got a response.

I finally found the number of the roofer that was supposed to come out and called him. He then preceded to tell me that he did try to call me and leave me messages and I never responded. I informed him that in this day and age that excuse doesn't work. He then gave me an excuse of why he never sent the estimate because he had a simple question for me before he could accurately give me one, which was a lie, it had no bearing on the estimate. Finally, he then tells me most people just want an estimate for a bid and never use them.

I explained that insurance was paying for the roof and I didn't get other bids because I just wanted it fixed. He acted like I was making it up. Had he only known that I would've just gone with him since insurance was paying and had he been upfront and honest. When he finally gave me the bid it was an outrageous bid compared to what the insurance figured it should cost around. like $7,000 more! This company is a joke from the beginning to the end! So glad I didn't go to with their services!
