Dzingle's Landscaping

We wanted to replace some older synthetic grass from another company (that only lasted one year past warranty). We called 3 different places. One place said to just put in some new infill to make it like new (they did not look at the grass and we did not believe that would work). Another place said they don't do jobs under $15k. Dzingles responded immediately and came to look at the grass. Doug was very knowledgeable and explained why the old grass failed.

Three months later we have beautiful new grass. The installer, Luis, was so efficient and expert at his work (says he has been working for Dzingles for over 20 years, which says something to me about the company). Now the grass is newly installed so I can't speak to longevity. But I really have no worries. The grass is high quality and the install was done well. I highly recommend this company for synthetic grass.

I think they have gone out of business. My husband has been trying to get them out for two years. Initial work was good.

Poor customer service and they are dishonest. They would not honor the two year warranty for work performed, had to threaten them with getting a lawyer for them to fix our walkway. We had ProGreen turf installed and they charged us 1,200 dollars for Durafill Infill. The turf is not holding up to the companies claim, had two landscape companies come out who verified infill was not put down.

I contacted Dzingle for a maintenance guide and warranty which they said they would provide at time of install for the turf and they will not respond. We did end up firing them and hired another landscape company to finish the work.

Very easy to work with. And responded quickly and professionally. Install was pretty quick and they cleaned up everything. We are VERY pleased with the outcome and would recommend them to others. Fast forward three years, we needed the turf raked and new antimicrobial pellets laid down and I still got the same response and service as I did the first time.

Love love love their initial work. But now they won't return my calls for additional and maintenance work (that I would pay for).

Update: After 16 months, they finally called and put in the board and resanded the green. There work is not an issue, just their lack of communication.

Doug came out and gave us an estimate to replace some bamboo in our backyard and install synthetic grass. From the 1st interaction to the last he was knowledgeable, professional, and had timely feedback. We had 4 bids and went with Doug. Hands down we would hire this local again.

If you hire this expert company once, you will stick to them forever for all your landscaping needs. They have such affordable solutions for all your renovation ideas. We keep on recommending them after their visits as they are just wonderful, skilled and knowledgeable professionals.

We had half of our backyard turfed and were initially happy with the work that was done. But we have two dogs and our turf has an awful smell to it. We called for help/advice on what we could do and never got a call back. We have bought different cleaners and nothing has worked. We also had rock put down on the other half and now every time our. dogs come in the house after it has rained, there is mud prints all over our floor.

We were told the rocks would settle and they never have. It's pretty awful rock they laid down in my opinion. I just wish we would have received a call back especially since we intended to have the second half of the yard turfed someday

Russ and his crew are great! Very highly recommend! We will definitely be using them again. We love our new backyard! (so do the pups!)

Great job, done quickly. Doug provided an excellent bid sheet explaining everything that was to be included in the job & price. My dad's main concern was a dead/dying lawn but Doug made a few other. recommendations that really improved the overall look. They were also able to accommodate a few other tasks that my dad decided on while they were there. Thank you all so much for turning an eyesore into a beautiful yard again.

We had to get some yard work done and he was kind of arrogant during the estimate. But we went with him because his prices seemed good and he could get the job done fast. He was also willing to give us a deal because we were close to his business in Auburn. They missed the cement base in one of our fence post holes, so we called him regarding this.

He then told us that there was no way that they had missed it. However the fence was quite wobbly and we dug down to check for cement, and there was none. He made us take pictures to send to him and he never contacted us back. We paid him the full amount for this (and EARLY too.) He never gave us an invoice, so we asked for one at the end of the year and he never got back to us.

We had to ask 3 times to get a stupid invoice so we could file our taxes. My husband actually had to threaten to contact the Better Business Bureau to get them to send us an invoice. They finally sent us an invoice.but they never fixed our fence.

I see Dzingle's Landscaping is a BBB member in good standing.

Perhaps this was a fluke and there was an emergency or something. I cannot say if Dzingle's work skills are anything like Dzingle's communication skills, but, never-the-less Dzingle's wasted my time and delayed my project. I would NEVER USE Dzingle's.

So we called Doug Dzingle to come out and look at our area and give us some ideas based on what my wife was thinking. To make a long story short, Doug and his guys were great. The landscaping was amazing, and the cost was much less than I thought it would be. Bottom line I love this service and highly recommend them. Kevin Jex
