Unfortunately it started out great but as business with this company continued, it got worst. They work the clock and make excuses by whipping up the pencil to justify their ridiculous charges. First time I brought it up, they did offer a discount which I declined but ask to never see the plumber that came out on my jobsite and what did they do? Send the same guy out! Schematics for shower kit and vanity were provided and they got it wrong, instead of owning up to it they charge me a arm and a leg and I was called a liar by the receptionist. Want a honest company, try Fair Plumbing or Pat's Plumbing. Will never use this company again and would be careful for those that are considering using them.

I highly recommend Terry Vereen Plumbing. They replaced all the drain pipe in 2 bathrooms and kitchen all the way to the city sewer connection. I had 60 year old cast iron pipes that needed to be replaced because they were badly corroded. Terry Vereen Plumbing's price was comparable to other plumbers and they did a phenomenal job. The concrete cutters who they subcontracted also did a great job cutting into the foundation and then pouring the concrete back after the pipes were installed. Overall, they were professional, knowledgeable and they did a great job.

Had Terry Vereen plumbing out to swap out some water fixtures. Ron came out and took great care of us. Replaced two fixtures, cleaned up, sealed them in and let us know when it would be safe to get water around the caulk line. We have used them in the past for a whole house re-pipe, new construction installation of all pipes and fixtures and new water heater installation. These guys are great, won't call anyone else.

We recently bought an older house and started having plumbing issues. After having 3 plumbers come by and not fix the issue, we were given the recommendation to give Terry Vereen a call. I'm so glad we did! The lady I spoke to on the phone, also named Tabitha, was very nice and was able to give me some rough estimates over the phone. I've noticed a lot of places won't do that for some reason.

I had a lot of questions and she didn't mind answering them. When the team of 2 came out, they listened to the issues we had an immediately figured out what the problem was. They were very quick, efficient, and polite. Fixed the clog and repaired the shower overflow pipes that weren't attached from the previous owners.

I have used Terry Vereen Plumbing for the last several years and have been very pleased. We had to have extensive repair work done (complete repiping) in order to sell our old house, then a lot of work to renovate a kitchen and bath in our new house. Vereen's plumbers are punctual, pleasant, skilled, and respectful of our property. Renovating the kitchen in our new house got complicated, both technically and logistically.

With the Covid pandemic, many things were out of my control, like getting tile work done, or the delivery of a dishwasher. Vereen was very easy to work with and did whatever was necessary to accommodate awkward scheduling. I would highly recommend Terry Vereen Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

Bahman Recommended, After 25 years of being a real estate in the historic riverside Avondale area, and after dealing with many plumbing I am doing an update review on Terry Vereen services. My experience was not the best about 10 years ago but I have recently used them again and I have been surprisingly happy with the office manager and specially the the Service man " Hunter " that came over.

The job was excellent, they were extremely courteous and the price compared to others was just right. For the time being I'm highly recommending them and I will be using them myself and recommending them to my clients as well. I will however do another update sooner than later this time! Companies and management can change so can their services over time, an update is definitely a must!

I recently had my bathroom remodeled by Terry Vereen Plumbing. I am so pleased with the results. Everyone that I worked with was really nice and professional. And they cleaned up after the job. I would definitely recommend!

We have been very pleased with the services we've received from Terry Vereen Plumbing in the past few months. They were recommended to me by a coworker. We've called them out 3 times for 3 different repairs we've needed and all were very well done. They work quickly, do great work, are respectful of my home (wore shoe covers as I requested) and left everything neat and clean at the end.

I must give a shout out to Joe F. and Joe T. who came in last week for one service and, because they were so efficient, I added a few more services on while they were here. The pricing was reasonable and we remain happy with their work.

If you know how it is to be stressing over repipe or a slab leak well i had a slab leak and it was stressful to know that repiping was my only option due to the old piping and i didn't want to experience that again, so i call terry vereen and the guys came an repipe my home wow an excellent group of young man, it was done in a day and everything was put back in place and it didn't look as if i had a repipe done wow, not only did they repipe my home i called them back to remodel my bathroom awesome job. Jacob and the Vereen team just left the house. They were very professional and thorough. We recently moved into the house and it was remodeled before we bought it. There was a mistake made with the plumbing that was causing a sewage smell by the washer. The issue was quickly identified and fixed (which required climbing under the house). Very satisfied with the entire experience.

Terry Vereen Plumbing was recommended by Home Advisor. they replied to my request to get an estimate to have our shower fixed (new insert with mortar placed underneath). Someone came out, said they would get back to me with the estimate, but I never heard anything. I called a week later and inquired about the estimate, and they said they would get back to me soon. Weeks later, still nothing. Thanks for wasting my time.

I had a plumbing emergency, called Terry Vereen they young lady that answered the phone was very kind, plumbers arrived within the 2 hour window I was given and both young men were polite, knowledgeable, and worked quickly to resolve my issue. I couldn't be happier with my service, great price, and all the people I delt with were easy to talk to, nice people!

Service from technicians is still exemplary at Terry Vereen, but initial reception needs improvement. I spoke with Erica in the front office to book an appointment for a minor issue with my faucet and toilet. She neglected to inform me of new, more expensive labor rates. I also asked a time range to expect the tech. She expressed that the 1-3 time window was open.

On the day of service at 2pm, I was called and asked again what services needed to be performed. I called to speak with, Kelly, the front office manager the next day and she let me know that she would speak with her front office team regarding these concerns. I was thankful that the technician accepted my 15% off coupon at the time of service, but when I spoke with Kelly, I wasn't offered any incentive to remain a customer of Terry Vereen after several years of loyalty.

On April 5,2018 we had our house re-piped since it had been thirty years since it was done and at that time the material presently is not up to code. The job went very well the plumbers were very knowledgeable about the job and did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up prior to leaving. We are extremely pleased with this plumbing contractor and will use them for further jobs.

My wife and I are retired and its refreshing to know that companies like Terry Vereen Plumbing is operating in the Jacksonville Area. I believe that if you have a plumbing need you will not be displeased when using this company

Asked to be contacted first before doing any work but they did not call me, just did the work and then sent me an invoice. Work was shoddy and had to be redone by another plumber. When I called the office to complain, they did not care. Will NEVER use again nor recommend.

Accidentally flushed a bottle cap down the toilet and it caused a clogged. We found Terry Vereeen Plumbing through HomeAdvisor.com. I called them on Friday morning, the scheduler was very pleasant and courteous on the phone. She gave me an appointment for the following day, Saturday, from 1000-1200. The tech, Mitchell, called me at 1030 saying he was on his way.

He was working on my toilet by 1100 and out of the house by 1130. I was quoted something like $145 for the first hour and $75 for each additional hour (I didn't write it down, I'm not 100% sure of the exact numbers) so I was expecting an astronomical charge for my stupidity. He only charged me $98. I was very happy with that. The only reason I'm giving 4-stars instead of 5 is because the tech made a small mess (mud on his shoes and toilet water on the bowl). Really minor. If I could give 1/2 stars or 3/4 stars I would. Outstanding service. I will definitely call them back if I need other work done.

Had the main line get clogged and backed up into my bathtub while washing dishes the Friday before Christmas! We were having trouble getting someone to the house due to Holidays. Terry Vereen plumbing showed up within an hour of placing the call. The after hours answering service was prompt with getting the information needed. I got a call about 10 minutes later from the service guy, Shawn, add I was able to explain the situation and he understood in a short time.

He explained the after hours cost well and was patient with me when I clarified to be absolutely sure. I like to repeat things. He arrived about 45 minutes after our phone call. He was nice and got straight to work. He explained what he was going to do before he did it and was able to clear the blockage in about 20 minutes! He even Hagee a discount because he was not here a whole hour.

He had to snake it from the roof. He tested the drain before packed up to be sure it was clear. I will definitely call them again if we have any future plumbing needs! Now I have a tub to clean!

My water heater sprang a leak. Being on the second floor, the sense of emergency was even greater (even though it does have a drip pan). I called Vereen on the recommendation of another plumber (he was too busy to help). The lady at Vereen said they would have someone out in a few hours. The tech (Shaun) showed up right as promised. He was very professional, courteous and obviously quite skilled.

He left zero mess and his piping was artwork. Best of all they were able to quote a standard price for this particular task which covered pretty much everything. And the price was extremely reasonable. I will have no problem calling Vereen for future plumbing "events".

We had Vereen Plumbing help us with our house when we purchased it in 1999. They did a full repipe and it was amazing. We have not had an issue with plumbing since then. We recently contacted them for a hot water heater change out, but used someone else due to the other plumber as part of the TECO tankless hot water heater program.

I called to have a leaking faucet repaired as was quoted $110.00 for the Service charge for the first hour plus any parts. The plumber came and ended up replacing 2 plastic valve stems and spent a total of 20 minutes here. Imagine my shock when I was charged $210.00! When questioning the tech, I was told that what they charge and that is what I needed to pay. I could have replaced the entire faucet for less! They ripped me off this time, but will never have another chance to do it again! Absolute thieves!

The women in the office who do the schedules and answer the phones are incompetent and are RUDE and NASTY to the people calling for appointments. DO THEY KNOW WE are paying there salary? I think not. By the reviews the OWNER MUST NOT CARE how his staff treats his customers as there are a lot of people who complain about the women in the office. The plumbers are very nice and they even talk how the women are in the office and how they have to DEAL WITH them too!

Logan was my tech. Very polite and professional. He was early to the job and called ahead of time to ask if it was okay to come to my home. Quickly located the issue. Would use this business again and would recommend.

I had a bubbling toilet when I took a shower and called Terry Vereen who sent out two very young-looking men to fix the stoppage. They located the drain pipe in the back yard, ran 10-12 feet of line from the pipe opening by the house toward the septic tank.

Jacob was a life saver Thursday night when I had water shooting across my bathroom which flooded the bathroom, bedroom and closet. It would have been ten times worse if not for his quick thinking and calm reaction to the chaos.

Have used this company before and they have been okay.by okay I mean they show up and tell us what we can do to fix the problem ourselves. This time I scheduled an appointment for them to replace a tiny piece of PVC on our pool pump.maybe a ten minute job.and nobody ever showed up. When the window in which they told me to wait expired by half and hour I called and they were not worried with getting anyone to me today. I cancelled and will never call them again.

Because I don't have the option for -5 stars. 3rd time called for plumbing on 1924 yr, old house. 1st time, they fixed half the problem, but didn't finish. Within 2 days had to call again, where they explained the house had 2 separate pipes and they only cleared one! Called later for toilet pump piece broken and they replaced the piece. Within a week, new piece broke, but they wouldn't replaced. Had to call another plumber to replace 2 pieces in toilet. Called today for immediate service 4 2 toilets completely blocked. Received a 12:30 - 2;00 PM time. waited until 3 pm, and woman at non customer service told me, it was raining (duh) and they could not work in rain.

She admitted she did not call me and let me know. She insisted, I be patient. She is in her office telling me what to do while I am at my home w/ 1 toilet filled w/ human feces, and other filled w/ urine. They could not come the day before! Now, it is 6 hours after the appointment and nothing. they said they MAY come tomorrow, but who knows. the 2 women at customer service are mean, spiteful, and the least serviceable people I've dealt with in plumbing. Horrific plumbing service, which is a shame because they are local but not worth dealing with. Go anywhere else!

Had a service call to repair leaky tub faucet. The service was same day. That was good. I too got a young service man who was in and out less than 20 minutes. Had to call them and they sent the same young man who admitted to the oversight.

I used this company for years with very little complaint. About a week ago, I called them to fix a jammed shower pull in one of the bathrooms. This company charged me $166 for this service by installing a whole new faucet which does not fit properly. I also asked them to check my water pressure. After these two left, my hot water no longer worked.

They charged another service call and parts to replace a coil. This wasn't the source of the problem. We ended up with no hot water on Easter Sunday. When I called their emergency service, they informed me that I would have to pay still another higher service call charge, its being a holiday, and they refused to take any responsibility whatsoever for breaking my hot water heater, not fixing it when they came back, and greatly inconveniencing my entire family.

They also did not show up within a four hour time frame in either occasion. Update: they called Monday morning to offer me, guess, what! A new water heater. I filed a complaint and asked the public relations person to let the owner I ow what was happening. They offered to make the charges for the second visit off my bill and gave me a price for a new hot water heater.

As of Tuesday morning, they are, once again, late. I have had no hot water since Wednesday. Update to the Update: All the issues turned out to be related to a slab leak. They removed the charge for the hot water heater repair, which was never needed in the first place. Everything malfunctioned because of the water pressure problem. This company did a great save and I am a fan again. The price for the lab leak, which took all day and much destruction to fix, was reasonable.
