When we built a home in 2013 with Saddletree homes we had a very large budget for home security and AV wiring from Site Sound and Security. Part of the package from our builder was a 2Gig home security and control unit, several modules for controlling lights, a compatible thermostat and one year of monitoring from Sight Sound and Security.
