Worst service and professionalism I've even seen in a roofing company. Do not use them if you do not want to get scammed. Had a complete roof done and paid for the materials. Had to call them to get it scheduled Tim was unprofessional and washed his hands of the job after he stated his boss took the job from under him. They removed my brand new gutters without notifying me and offered to pay 30% but then send me an email to only pay 25% and it had to be from an estimate from his gutter friend.
In which I still haven't received anything from them. 2 weeks after the job and calling every day the James never answered or called me back to get the dumpster removed. 3 weeks after the job was done and I paid in full at the end of the job they send an invoice for almost $3000 for "wood". The same wood they left on the floor next to the dumpster they never removed. 100% would never go with them. They lack integrity and are not ethical. Prepare to pay 20k for a 10k roof with them.

This company the owner name is James Shelton and this people work for other companies how best roofing, northstart, and all is the same, and the owners is having problems with lean on the properties because this company no is paying for labor to the workers, the owners and insurance pay to him but he is stealing the money of the workers. Please owners no give to this persons any job of roof. is a person who has lawsuits from other workers for not paying. These types of companies and people affect other honest companies, put a stop and do not let this person steal more from the workers.

This roofing company has stood us up twice. The first time we set up an appointment window, no one ever came or called. We decided to gove them one more chance amd set up another appointment window. Same thing happened- no call, no show. I am appalled by the unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy. Good luck staying in business if this is the way you treat customers.

Unless there is more than 1 Shelton roofing in Jacksonville the information in my review is very truthful and correct. A person representing himself as Mr. Shelton did come to my home and spoke with me on the phone. He stated he was the owner of the company. There are holes in my roof and the work was not done properly. I would be more than happy to discuss this with the respondent from Shelton Roofing. Had them patch a leak around my chimney on August 1, 2012. Shingles were the FURTHEST thing from matching the existing shingles, and now on September 24, 2013 I spent 5 min crawling back into the attic after hearing a drip following some rain and there is a new leak in the same spot and I've realized they never replaced part of the decking which they removed.
