Barry was quite knowledgeable and I learned a lot from him. For $165 I received eight mice traps placed strategically in my basement. However, he ignored the squirrel problem. He also suggested that I contact a company to insulate along the foundation walls in the basement, and gave a recommendation, but advised me not to contact them immediately.
That company did come within a week (they had an opening) and insulated. In so doing they completely blocked up the mouse baits Barry had placed, and blocked off an area where squirrels had sequestered nuts. The baits evidently weren't necessary. A wasted $165.

This was my first pest control experience and I have to say how impressed I am, from Barry the owner explaining everything, to our first visit with Sam who was outstanding! She was so patient and willing to get wherever she had to in order to spray all of our unwanted bugs! Looking forward to our next visit!

Great experience with 1st American Pest Control. I had gone with another company before and had substandard results. I called this company, they got back to me FAST, and listened to my concerns, provided me with a number of good options at very reasonable rates, then delivered the agreed upon service for the agreed upon price. Very professional, high quality results ensued that I didn't think were possible after previous experiences. If you want to save yourself some trouble, call them first.

We spoke with Barry after discovering carpenter ants in our home. He came out for a free consultation right away and was incredibly informative and friendly. Not only was he willing to treat the problem, but he made sure that we were educated about what our issues were and how to properly treat them. This included very helpful information about additional pests we might have problems specific to our location-including spiders, mice and bats. Our first treatment was today, but he has already earned our trust and we look forward to working with him in the future for our pest control needs.

This is the third time this year I relied on First American Pest Control to take care of problems I never had in the last 20 years. Barry said due to the all the rain, he has seen many more call. He is professional, quick to remedy the problem, answered my concerns about using chemicals/products around my dog, and provided me with great service. I would highly recommend.

Unprofessional and rude. The instructions that i received from them and from their website were wrong. The instructions stated that after 15 hours to use a DAMP cloth to remove excess powder from surfaces when i followed per instructions the excess powder didnt come off my furniture. It ended up damaging my furniture and belongings because of the wrong instructions that i was given by them. i called the business and the owner answered when i told him my furniture was damaged and the excess powder wasnt getting removed by following the instructions they had given me he said i was suppose to use a dry cloth not a damp cloth when i told him the instructions that i had gotten from his company and the company's website stated DAMP cloths he began to get loud, rude and unprofessional. Update 9/7/19.
To show the company's wrong doing i posted a picture of the instructions to show what i was given. after i called to complain about the damage he changed his company's written instructions which i also posted. Also his reply is also a lie. I was not the source of the pest problem and i did cooperate with my management company. I am the one that brought up the pest issue to the management company when i started to see the pests.

I had excellent service! I had a huge yellow jacket hive in my garage. I called and Barry came out and sprayed. Now all the yellow jackets are dead! Not only did he spray, he checked to make sure they were not bees. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Will use the service again if needed. Thanks Barry and staff!

This review is long overdue. 1st American Pest Control is my first choice. I called and left a message for them around the 4th of July. The owner Barry quickly called me back. His communication was great. Direct and clear. This is what I will do. This is what it will cost. This is when I will do it. And he did what he said he would do when he said he would do it for the amount he said he would do it for. Sadly, it is something I rarely see these days which is why 1st American Pest Control will continue to receive my business.
A side note, Barry came to address a wasp next in our yard. My wife asked him about getting rid of some garden pests and he was very helpful with some advise at no extra cost.

Barry, the owner, was just quite rude to me due to my landlords lack of communication skills. I was simply calling to inquire and he told me that I'M part of the problem. Now. being in the management field for years, as well as customer service - that really isn't any sort of way to talk to a customer.
