Randy's Island Glass

Had exactly what I needed to fix the sliding door on my boat in stock and made of stainless to boot. Great service and great price.

I had the pleasure of using some windows that had been installed by this company this past week. The windows and sliding glass doors (and screens) were all perfect. Randy was very knowledgeable. The end product looks and functioned perfectly.

Had a really nice surprise. I called several glass companies regarding a glass tabletop. Randy's had the lowest price. I stopped by and ordered the piece of glass and paid for it too. The tabletop bill was actually less than I was quoted. The glass was promised to be ready by the end of next week. This morning I got a call that the glass was ready to be picked up. Wow, ordered on Wednesday, ready to pickup on Thursday. Just a one day turnaround. Thank you Katie for exceeding my expectations!

Horrible customer service! I've been waiting 14 weeks for a insulated glass unit. I was told 4. After several visits and numerous calls all I get is excuses. Still no glass!

If you can find another company to handle your work id advise you to. Having worked here i have no idea how he's stayed in business. He talks down to his customers; cant measure a window or shower after 30 years. Most of his jobs are just a artwork frame of flatbar and caulk. Hell take no responsibility when something goes wrong with his work; even to the point of doing dangerous things like using 1 inch screws to secure impact windows or running out of clips and just skipping using them.

You can get better work done by.just about anyone else. In a year and a half ive never seen a moisture barrier installed or used on his windows. At best he puts urethane on the bottom tapconns and thinks that's sufficient.

Mike and Chris are professional, meticulous, and expert carpenters. They installed a double exterior door with a Schlage Connect touchscreen deadbold with alarm beautifully. The lock was installed perfectly and works like a dream. The door is level and molding is just right. I would never use anyone else to install a door.

Ordered high impact windows for two bedrooms. Order arrived and were installed two days later. Took them an hour and a half to install them. No fuss - no mess! The best! JOEJ ft Myers

Quick, easy to talk to. I went in person and requested the work and it was ready in a couple days. Real family business that cares about people and wants the best for their customers. Everyone there goes above and beyond. Glass looks and fits great! Check them out.

If their making money it's not because of the customer service. The women there are flat out rude. I guess they'd rather be home watching Oprah. There are better places.

I don't know why, they said it would take 2 weeks to replace the single glass in a small window if I brought it in. I didn't want a window open even over night so I took it to another glass shop where they did it in 10 minutes while I waited.

Ordered a table top glass and was told it might be a couple of days until they could cut it.barely got home and it was ready the same day. Very friendly and courteous service. I would recommend Randy's for your glass needs.

We called not realizing it was after hours. No problem, left a message. Got a call back in about 5 mins from Randy anyway. He talked with us about we were looking for, made suggestions and told us to give the office a call next day with decision. We were in the area the next day and stopped in to place our order. It was cut within an hour! We had our glass same day! We are so happy we've placed another order.

This guy is a complete tool with a small mans complex. His office staff (his wife and daughter I presume) are equally as charming. He even bitched me out for calling him after hours when the number I called was off his web site, yes it was after business hours but not late, and I really only expected to get an answering machine. Fixed a couple windows in condo.

He bitched about anything and everything while he was there. Wouldn't replace the screen because of lack of know how. Caulk was/is smeared all around the frame. Told me to go to Ace hardware and get a new screen. When I tried to pay the guy with a cc he got even more jerky and told me to call his office with the credit card info. Quite frankly I had enough by then and turned the bill over to the condo management co and as expected it got lost in the red tape. Hey Randy---"as you sow, so shall you reap"!

Horrible - I brought a broken window to them to fix. The disinterested employee (female) said it would be $18. I dropped a piece of plastic off with the broken window. One week later, I picked it up. The charge was $43.50. The piece of plastic that was needed to make the window functional was not there and they could not find it. The window was smeared with silicone and was not cleaned.

I called up and another disinterested employee offered nothing except "they're supposed to clean it". I wrote a complaint to the BBB and the company never responded. I would NEVER use these guys again and anytime I get the opportunity, I share my experience with anyone who is thinking of using them.
