We recently had issues with our HVAC unit and on the recommendation of our neighbor we decided to call America Heating and Air Conditioning. We were pleased, the technician Pas oversaw every detail and explained it to us in a friendly manner. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. In the end the system was up and running. I would never hesitate to call them for any issue in the future. They do a great job.

My air conditioning unit stopped working a week ago and I have been researching the BBB and Yelp for some reputable and well reviewed license contractors to fix our unit. The ones that advertise on TV were much too expensive and didn't offer appointments right away. Others I called could care less and didn't seem so enthusiastic to get my business since this is high season for air conditioning repair and they seem to have plenty of business going around. Luckily I took a chance in calling America Heating and Air Conditioning.
We called yesterday at around 5:45 in the afternoon and Mr. Pascual Vargas, the owner answered and even though it was kind a late he said that he was willing to come over to check it out the unit and see what the problem was. Within half an hour he was here at our home in Otay Ranch in Chula Vista and went to work right away. He strikes me as a straightforward and honest man that is not the type to rip people off.
He quoted me a fair price for the diagnostic inline with other contractors prizes from the ones I have called. He went to work and within an hour he recognized the problem and pinpointed what needed to get replaced. He showed me the parts that were damaged and not functioning properly. I agreed to him coming back today to install the parts. Within an hour my AC was working again and what a relief.
I was afraid that he would not be able to get it to work being that my AC unit is 12 years old. I was glad i didn't have to spend another couple of thousand dollars for a new unit. By the records here, this business has only been around for a year that's why there are not any reviews on this business yet, but I am glad I took a chance on him and it sure was worth the chance.
I ended up paying less than what I expected to spend which is awesome. I don't usually write reviews for a business and I am very skeptical about these kind of businesses but Mr. Pascual was certainly a pleasant surprise and I felt that these kind of businesses, especially small and privately owned should be praised and supported when they do a good job and do not cheat people out of their money.
I am very pleased with the rapid service and well done job that Mr. Pascual rendered and will be definitely calling him back for any AC needs in the future. And he speaks Spanish too. It was good to use him for practice with my Spanish. Nice guy.
