I really, really wish I had read these reviews before securing this service. My experience is almost exactly similar to many of the comments here. Great communication when reserving, bad/poor cleaning job, follow up with Grace (runs the scheduling) and customer did something wrong. (Read the comments. There's always some wrinkle that makes it the customer's fault) Made arrangements for 2 people to clean our house / one showed up. Had to wipe floors and dust, vacuum etc after she left. Blinds weren't wiped, cupboards weren't cleaned, mirror was smudged. I could go on and on. There was essentially no point or value in hiring these people.

Our contractor asked us to get a construction clean done on short notice for our remodel. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Madison Cleaning. The crew came out and did a fantastic job. Grace came over to inspect areas I would not have thought of. We had them come back to do a powder puff clean the day before we moved in. Again Grace inspected what they did to check all the nooks and crannies. Really great job!

I used Madison Cleaning for a rental clean out and they did a great job. This unit was not as terrible as some are but it's a good place to start. Thanks to the two ladies that worked on this project (Sorry I don't know their names) I will call again. Service: Deep clean

I have been at work at Madison for just over a year. The company is professional, good wages and flexible days/hours. I am happy with the amount of work they give me and flexible when needed. I am also very happy with the team I work with. I am most happy with the construction work or clean projects.

I can't say enough good things about this company. We've been using them for over a year. We have a second home in Denver and we call ahead to have Madison Cleaning come and clean as soon as we get there and then we have them every other week while we're there. They are always on time, efficient in their cleaning and most importantly.very thorough. The ladies are always very nice and friendly. We will always use Madison Cleaning Services!

HUGE WARNING -- Shyster Alert! We employed Madison to clean a "studio apartment" (1 bath, kitchen and studio space, 695 sq ft) and the cost was to be $160.00. This was more than we've paid in the past, but it was a weekend so we accepted-- it was to be done on Saturday afternoon. My husband waited downtown at the unit for over two hours and they did not show.

Finally they agreed to show up Sunday. The ladies (2) did the job on Sunday morning.and the hardwood floors looked good, but the glass light fixtures were left full of dust. We were okay with everything as we had renters moving in same day. NOW, the company is harassing us daily to charge an additional $160 --for a total of $520 to clean a studio.

The sad thing is we would have probably used them again, as we like to have a consistent cleaning company. Not now! Every day they harass us (it's AWFUL!) and we have never been charged that much in the past! Normally we have paid $125 to clean the studio. Pass on this company -- we don't know what they are hoping for with this harassment behavior! Bad customer relations! Never again. 7.14.17 Madison Cleaning did the right thing and charged my credit card the $160 that I had originally agreed to pay.

Owner told us to "fuck off" after I posted this original review as follows. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Unless of course you want to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a barely good enough clean. They quoted us MULTIPLE times 40$ and hour for an initial deep clean. Then when it can down for the total they tell us "40$ an hour PER PERSON" I'm sorry what? That's horrendous, but I would have paid it had the clean actually been worth anything close to that.

But it wasn't. Not to mention they were supposed to show up between 8-9AM didn't show until 3:30pm and rushed through the clean so they could get out of there. I told them it would probably take 5-6 hours because of the size and due to the fact we have dogs. But of course no one wants to be cleaning someone's home until 9pm. Therefore they rushed through and didn't EVEN DUST, and didn't pick up anything to vacuunderneath just pushed it around with the vacuum!

And they want 80$ and hour for what they did? And then to top it off it took them over a week to get back to us when I came to them with my complaints and said "we will knock 80$ off for being late" ugh absolutely horrible and disappointing. The only reason I'm updating this review is because the OWNER of this company decided to text my husband and "complain" about my review. Calling me a LIAR and saying we refused to pay them when in fact we did nothing of the sort.

The ONLY reason they hadn't been paid was because it took them A WEEK AND A HALF to get back to us when I called to complain about the price being misquoted AND I mentioned how I was unsatisfied with the work they did as they didn't dust or vacuum well like I mentioned above. Then the owner wants to say I'm a liar and never mentioned being unhappy? I'm sorry if whoever I voiced my complaint to didn't express it to you but that's not my problem. It's yours and you DO NOT get to call me a liar.

And you definitely don't get to tell me to "fuck off" and that I need to take my review down. I attached pictures of a few of the texts the owner sent my husband. Keep in mind she conversed with him for HOURS and it was more of the same.being rude, disrespectful and COMPLETELY unprofessional.

Hit and miss. My previous experience was great, but over time the service tapered. Ultimately I took a few months off of regular cleaning and when I called again the price doubled, only without any forewarning or proactive communication as previously stipulated. Won't be returning.

Wow, just like other reviewers on this company this owner has flat out lied in her response to my review. 1 I don't even have a china cabinet. Maybe you should get your facts straight instead of making them up. We needed a new cleaning service, so I bought a living social deal for Madison Cleaning. After a lengthy phone conversation regarding the details of my house, including the fact that I have a dog, the crew arrived on-time but had to reschedule because one of the cleaners was allergic to my dog. It then took over a week to reschedule the cleaning. The arrival window was 12:30-1:30, and the team arrived at 1:30, only to sit in the car for 15 minutes and eat lunch.

After the team left, I walked around to see how they did and found that they had not vacuumed the upstairs. Weird! What type of cleaning doesn't include a vacuum? When I finally spoke with someone about the cleaning, she tried to tell me something about the types of vacuums they use that made absolutely no sense. She then called back later to say she would send someone back out to vacuum, but I declined the offer.

I did still owe some money after the living social was applied, and was fine paying the difference. It's a good thing I kept track of when they arrived and left because she tried to tell me that I owed her another $200. It was actually $80. And still after all this, I realized the team broke the light switch in my bedroom. It's not a typical light switch, but has two separate dials, one for the fan and one for the light.

They clearly tried and tried to figure it out until it broke, so now we're stuck with a broken switch. After a "sorry about your switch, but nothing like that has ever happened with one of our teams before, " they proceeded to charge the full $80 to my card. Definitely not the customer service I would ever choose to deal with again and would not recommend this company.

Charged credit card with an unauthorized exorbitant amount that was not even to close to what was agreed or delivered. Cleaning people were slow and they did not do a thorough job (mold in shower, had to vacuum after they left and there was still grime on walls- which I communicated to the manager) - 5 people only cleaned one bedroom and two small bathrooms (150sqft) and they took 3 hours but the company charged for what was supposed to be cleaning for almost the entire house. Manager/Owner was unreasonable and difficult when told of the issue and would not agree to adjusting the charges fairly.

She threatened to turn the unauthorized amount they charged to collections and was not understanding. Reported the unauthorized charge to credit card company and posted issue with BBB. Awful experience- do not trust this company.

I called because I'm selling my house and wanted a 'deep cleaning' before our open house. The woman I spoke to was nice, cheerful and knowledgeable. Fully understood what I needed assured me she could help. She wanted my credit card to secure the appointment. I think I got the "B" team. Very little English spoken, they were there an hour early, I was not dressed yet.

They did an adequate cleaning if they had been coming weekly, but I didn't think they got the deep cleaning concept. I mopped the floors and vacuumed after they left, re-cleaned the bathroom walls and floors. A mediocre job. Oddly, they didn't ask about money, they just left. My card was charged without my permission or knowledge. I did hear from the original woman I had spoken to, she offered to send them again, but the open house was in progress. I just chalked it up to way too typical service where just getting by is good enough. I wouldn't use Madison Cleaning service again nor would I recommend them.

I was shopping for Cleaning service for some time and found MCS. Danielle was very nice and polite. There was misunderstanding in my requirement. I asked for one person/hr cleaning and it was accepted. Since we are starting business I didn't want to stretch too much on other expenses. I also had mentioned that I will not be at office and there will be someone to have the office open when the cleaning service is there. Danielle agreed and i thought everything was understood.

As mentioned they came, cleaned and left. I was happy until the invoiced amount came in which was double than promised. I called back, again Danielle answered the call, I explained the concern, she apologized (she was still polite and soft). But she said there is nothing she could do with her limits and said her Boss will call me. I waited and called back.

Apparently Ms. Grace had been busy. She called me back next day with harsh and rude tone. She started yelling at me with Job ethics. How I don't know her job as she doesn't know mine bla bla, I said my concern is not the money, it is the policy, what was said wasn't the same as that was in action. i wanted to straighten that out so we could continue their service monthly. (I went by Danielle's hospitality and good CS) But Grace wasn't ready to listen to my concerns.

All she wanted to do was yell at me. (may be she got my race from my accent?) and she said she could end up giving that as gift, I said I don't need a gift but service, BUT she hung up on me even before I completed the sentence. I am terribly disappointed. It isn't the money it is the way people run the business and treat people. Very poor Management ( no blame on employees) I wish to give less than one star. there is no choice.

Unfortunately I read all the reviews after the fact and I read all her response, it sounds rude to me as well. for one of the response to AMANDA, she herself said she hung up on the client, who would do such kind of business?. And she expects the client to call her back? who is doing business here? what does Business ethics mean? I am lost. My review here is my own experience and I DONT want to see her response.

Grace and her cleaning ladies do a great job cleaning my home that gets very messy. When they arrive, my house is so messy w/ clothes and books and various things laying around. My house also gets dusty. We love going back to our home after the cleaning ladies are done - the house smell so fresh and everything looks so clean and they even organize!

The work they do for us is worth the money because they work hard and do a very good thorough job. Having gone through 4 different cleaning companies before, I've been very satisfied w/ Madison Cleaning Services.

Madison Cleaning Services cleans my business and my home. The crew is very thorough and takes feedback in a constructive manner to constantly improve the quality of their work. I shopped around and had some poor experiences prior to Madison; they've been cleaning for me for over a year now.

My experience was not as I had hoped. First set of gals that cleaned didn't clean and they over charged me. called grace the owner, she sent a new set of girls and did a r clean. Job wax well done but after asking how I would be repaid my overage I was told I received a 400.00 clean. This company reminds me if a bait and switch, looks nice at first but then the true self comes out. I Left with buyers remorse and feeling ripped off. I would and will not use them nor recommend ever!

I regret wasting my money on this cleaning service. I had the exact same experience as one of the commenters below: I purchased a livingsocial deal that was supposed to include four hours of deep cleaning. When they showed up, it was two young men, and they explained to me that it would only be two hours, since there were two of them. They 'finished' in under two hours and did a very surface-level cleaning job.

Upon close inspection, they left major things undone: in the shower, they didn't touch the shower caddy, which was clearly badly in need of cleaning. They didn't clean the shutters aside from a cursory dusting in one room, even though I explicitly asked them to clean the shutters throughout the house. They didn't touch the ceiling fans and overhead light fixtures even though there was dust and cobwebs readily apparent (the website indicates that this is part of the service).

They didn't even attempt to clean under easily accessible beds in my children's rooms. They missed other surfaces completely, including easily accessible shelves. They didn't take out the trash as the website indicates they would. They did a terrible mopping job, leaving obvious marks untouched. I called Grace twice the same day and she did not return my call.

I then called again the next day and explained my concerns. She agreed that it did not sound as if they had done a thorough job, and she said that she would call me and come over the following day to complete the job. Not surprisingly, I never heard from her again. Completely unprofessional and a waste of money.

If you are looking for a professional cleaning service I suggest you look elsewhere. Horrible, horrible customer service and the cleaning job was so bad that I actually had to clean the house myself. Grace (the owner) does not deserve to have any repeat business as she treats her customers like dirt. P.S. read the filtered reviews.there are other people who have had the same experience!

I've had a lot of cleaning services come and help and and this is by far the worst. It took many tries to reach Grace and when I did, she was abrupt and rude. When her crew showed up----very late----they were the creepiest bunch I'd ever dealt with. They did a horrible job, many of the basics were left undo---i.e. cleaning bathroom mirrors, sweeping in places, etc.

I didn't feel comfortable having this service in my house and you could tell they were terrified of Grace.who they had to sit and wait for to get a ride. Just really a bad experience, even with my Groupon.

BEWARE! This is the biggest joke of a cleaning company around. I saw them advertised through Groupon but did not buy the coupon. Instead I called them to schedule an estimate and cleaning. It is my own fault I did not have them come to the house and inspect prior to starting to clean. I spoke with Grace on the phone and she seemed nice enough. I stated I had a 2500+ sqft house and it was a mess form top to bottom, kids, and pets.

She gave me an estimate of 4-6 hours for the deep cleaning and said her people would show up the next day between 12-1. The next day no one showed up and no one called, after calling and calling i finally got Grace on the phone and she assured me they would be there by 3. At 430 I pulled into my driveway and here were two girls sitting out front of my house smoking cigarettes in their car. needless to say the last thing I want in a cleaning company is someone who stinks like cigarettes cleaning my house. However, I had no choice since I was the one who procrastinated and I really needed the house cleaned by Thanksgiving.

Huge mistake because the cleaners took 4 hours to do the bedroom and bathroom only and Grace showed up and cleaned the kitchen for an hour. They left floors uncleaned, toilets dirty, and garbage for me to take out. Needless to say i stopped the cleaning there and paid for the service completed although was a complete ripoff. To top it off, Grace sends me an email using every excuse in the books of why I fired her.

How pathetic she can't see through her mess of poor service and support. I hope more people speak up about this shady business. Whats interesting is one of the girls who cleaned our house was named Michelle and the only positive review on this site is form a Michelle. This is seems pretty suspicious if you ask me. STAY AWAY, SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH A PROFESSIONAL FRANCHISE CLEANER.

This place has horrible customer Service. They dont call you back or respond to requests online. Use at your own risk.
