Cary and his team removed the popcorn ceilings throughout my home. The end result was phenomenal! It looks like a brand new home. I couldn't be happier! One thing I appreciated about Cary in particular was how he was willing to lock in a price. The other places I contacted wouldn't do that. In terms of the quality of work, it was flawless with the exception of a missed nail pop in the master closet, but considering they did the whole house I'm surprised that was the only thing I found.
They were pretty good about cleaning up too. There was drywall dust everywhere, but that's essentially unavoidable from my experience. All of the popcorn chunks were gone which was the major thing. Thanks Cary!

I had to call Churchill to repair dry wall in our bedroom after my wife managed put a nice and oversized hole thru it. Cary was responsive to communication, came out in a reasonable amount of time and gave a decent estimate, after getting other quotes we went with Cary & Churchill and I couldn't have been happier with that choice, we can no longer tell where she put the hole. Would recommend for drywall repair.

Churchill Painting recently completed a large job for my family. They did a full roof replacement and repaired water/ceiling damage to the interior. Cary did a great job of keeping my up to date over the course of the project, sending photos when I was not there and explaining what was happening as the project progressed. I found that to be very valuable, and something you don't usually get with most contractors. All the work was done on time and high quality, the new roof looks great!

After talking with several painting companies, it was an easy decision to work with Cary and his crew. Churchill was then't the lowest cost but, his direct approach during the review of the job made me feel comfortable working with him and his team. Loved the results! Thanks guys! Work was done and looked good for a month until paint started peeling off. Tried to get them to come out that year. Then the next year. 2 years after they sent a Sherwin Williams rep to take paint samples. They first took paint sample from our neighbors house. Then took it from our house. They said the old wood was peeling off with the paint. I would believe this more if it didn't take 2 years to get someone out here.
And they don't update that they didn't have an office anymore.i went to the address give on Their website and Google maps but it is closed. Terribly unprofessional. Do a background check first.

They painted the exterior of my home about four or five years ago. Even after one year I found peeling paint about ground floor windows. That 2 year warranty CPR claims to give you? Forget about it. They don't follow up at all. I'm not at all impressed. I had to sand them all down, prime and paint over again. The workers were fine guys, by and large.
The carpenter was inadequate. Failed to nail fiber cement siding they put on so I did it myself when I saw it falling off. Failed to replace rotten trim boards properly - cut some rot off but later the rest rotted. Too, he replaced a fascia board, found he cut it too short, so he did a really poor scarf joint to add another piece instead of doing it right.
They used bondo to fix another scarf joint. That all peeled away last summer so I had to sand it all down, prime and paint. You can do better by hiring a different paint crew. Seriously.

Cary was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of home improvement. My project was exterior painting with a lot of carpentry work to restore older home. His crew worked extremely hard, was extremely professional and nice and did an excellent job for us. He used high quality materials and all the work was done thoroughly and to a high standard. As new discoveries came up, Cary was reasonable in pricing and adjusting the plan. Overall great experience and highly recommend.

This is a really great group of guys! I am a new homeowner and felt overwhelmed with the amount of work that my exterior needed, but Cary and his team, especially Dave, have really made me feel like I can relax and know that things are taken care of, THE RIGHT WAY! Despite weather and other set backs, they really put forth effort to stay on schedule and get the work done.
These things take time, especially if you want them done right, but they've been able to get everything done in 1 week! Amazing. With the weather we've had recently, I dont feel like another company would have gotten everything done. But they worked Saturday and Sunday to make sure it was. They are also very responsible with price and so nice! They walked around my house each day and made sure things were put away and trash picked up. I will recommend Churchill to all my friends and definitely use them again in the future. Thank you Cary!

It is not an easy task to try to articulate the stress and pain that a customer experiences when trying to get a contractor to complete work under the timeline originally agreed upon but I feel inclined to at least warn others and share my experience with this one over the last couple of weeks. To caveat this review, I am an Army Veteran with over 20 years experience in managing contracts around the globe, to include 5 tours to Iraq and 4 to Afghanistan. Mr. Rizzieri's behavior and difficulty in satisfying the terms of this contract was without question, the most immature and difficult I've ever had to deal with.
Without a doubt, he will rebut this review and point the finger elsewhere so I will abstain from being overly critical and simply present the facts and timeline to let you form your own opinion. I will not belabor the point, however, would like to let you know if you do business with this company please be prepared to deal with an unfortunately immature owner who plays games if things do not go his way.
We were extremely patient and understanding the first couple of days as he delayed our project but we quickly learned that Mr. Rizzieri could not be trusted at his word. All in all, the project took roughly 8 days, which should have only taken 3 days by the original estimate. Ultimately, the work was only completed because Mr. Rizzieri knew I was leaving town and he would not receive final payment until after I returned if the work was not completed before I left.
He was extremely pushy, rude, used profanity and threats and quite frankly, irresponsible in the management of his business. I trusted CPR falsely assuming that a bonded and insured business would be trustworthy and professional enough to complete the job. Mr. Rizzieri knew we had a timeline to vacate the home, however, played games and delayed our work out of spite for not receiving more work in our new home.
His actions were extremely immature and created a ripple of delays causing the landlord to put off accepting new tenants. The work was completed with multiple areas of the carpet, hardwood floors, cabinets, and doorknobs having paint splatters. When I contacted him regarding removing it, he insisted that I do it with "soap and water" and that the professional rug cleaner in there "was not trying hard enough".
I wish I had something positive to say about hiring this company and working with Mr. Rizzieri, however, this has proven to be one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with dealing with a contractor. If you hire him, make sure you get everything in writing and don't make him angry, otherwise, he will play games and try to make your life difficult.
He lacks professional courtesy and is only motivated to get paid with no long-term consideration for future business. Review the terms of your contract and make sure you hold him to them, otherwise, he will try to entice you to take on more work and press you for exceptions outside of the originally agreed upon scope of work. We also had Mr. Rizzieri provide a quote for our new home that we did not sign a contract for.
When he realized we were not going to use him for the job, he became extremely difficult and played games to delay our completion. I would happily provide a copy of the text message transcript if anyone would like to see the exact timeline and details (the character restrictions on here limit how much I can post). In closing, I would be remised if I didn't mention his last act of indecency and incompetence when 3 days after finally completing the work he was hired to do, Mr. Rizzieri sends me a text message trying to charge me for canceling the new home job.
He was unaware that we never signed the contract but still tried to get me to pay a 25% cancelation fee. When I asked him to provide me with a signed contract, he became frustrated insulting me one last time and threatening me to pay the cancelation fee despite never having signed a contract.
