Donaven repaired a crack in the main stack and I feel like he did a decent job with the fix - went the easier route with Fernco PVC fittings. The job required that the three joining drains be cut and the connections be rebuilt (PVC). The stack was very accessible and overall not a difficult repair. I could be wrong, but I felt the price was astronomical.
For about 4ish hours of work and maybe $100 in parts the cost was right around $1,200. Two things that I thought were a little off was the fact that the job took much longer than necessary and he requested that we pay with two separate checks. The work was done for my widowed mother and I feel like he may have taken advantage of that. Will likely look elsewhere for future services.

Very expensive Replaced faucet, 3 lines and two shut off valves. Was at my house for 60 minutes. Cost $450 and that was with a $50 coupon! The new faucet they put in looks like the cheapest POS he found at Menards. I'm have no problem paying fair market value for work done but come on. The parts he replaced and faucet probably cost $100 max. That means his labor rate for the 60 minutes was $350. I wasn't aware plumbers were on the same pay scale as lawyers. Lesson learned never again!
