I am editing my review after a much better conversation with I believe the site manager in Charleston. Long story short my original conversation was answered by a woman who is most likely new and wasn't able to help my issue but after getting a number of someone who was more understanding of my issue I was able to get my problem resolved and have an appointment scheduled for this week for my problems to be fixed. Thank you for your quick response below to Palmetto residential services and also to the site manager here in Charleston!

The interview was great. Loved how the company and culture is a solid. To hear about the growth potential was amazing. After listening to the CEO, I was amazed at the personal touch he puts forth to make sure the employees feel like family. Overall, it was nice to know that a company cares about their employees. I wish the best as the company transitions into a new era. The best is yet to come.

I called 3 times just to get the initial appointment. I decided to go with Palmetto because they wired my new house hired by the builder. After finally getting someone to come out, the tech didn't know what kind of plug I wanted when I told him what it was and showed him a picture for a 240v outlet with locking plug. I also wanted a small power meter installed and he had no idea how to do it.

He said he would have to reschedule and someone would get back with me to follow up. Nobody ever called me back so I called Mister Sparky and they took care of it next day on the same day the tech arrived within an hour. So overall, the tech was not knowledgeable and the appointment scheduler failed to get back with me so no service was done.

NEVER LET THIS COMPANY DO ANY ELECTRICAL WORK IN YOUR HOME! We bought a brand new home and hooked up our old washer and dryer. The dryer (which is older) would not work when we hooked it up. We figured since the dryer was older that it was the dryer! We ended up spending $1500 on a new washer and dryer. Only to find out the new dryer didn't work. We had a repair man out to take a look at the dryer, only to tell us the electric company incorrectly wired the outlet. Thanks Palmetto Electric! This has been quite the ordeal! Did i mention I closed on my house back in September?!

Have known the Palmetto team for years they did my personal home back in 2009. Like that I can always rely on them doing the right thing and the fact that they have been in business so long. There are too many truck slammers out there in business today and gone tomorrow.

Based on how this white Ford Ranger with a truck cap is driving and cutting off everybody on interstate 26 I will probably never use these guys.
