William Brown and his associate, Walter, came to do some miscellaneous repair work at my home. I requested Mr. Brown since he had done some repair work for me previously and I was very impressed with his work. Recently I have been working with a number of home repair people and it's rare to run into contractors who are professional and do excellent work, and Mr. Brown and Walter are jewels. Transworld Electric is lucky to have such outstanding employees. Highly recommended.

Recently had my electric wires form the services pole to the house put underground. Used the rules of 3 (actually got 4) and got estimates from reputable places here in Charleston, SC. Transworld was 1k cheaper then everyone else. I dealt with Jamel Anderson - Residential Service Manager and was very impressed. I'm completely redoing my "fixer-upper" and have dealt with contractors in various phases of the project and Jamel has by far left the best impression. Kent and Deondre was very professional and outstanding men to work with. They were here usually before I was and was ready to work when they arrived. Kent and Deondre found an issue with a feeder in our energy plant and helped us avoid a serious unplanned outage of critical equipment. A number of months ago I had Transworld service my whole house generator. I specifically explained to them that they needed to bring a tall ladder. They did not, so they had to come back another day, which meant me taking another day off work. They changed the oil and put in a new battery. The generator started, but they said it needed a circuit board to set the timer, which they did not have.

To make a long story short, I called another electrician. He went to the breaker switch and turned out it was only a blown fuse. Transworld wanted to order the circuit board and it would have cost me over 500 additional $s. I'm glad that I found someone that could diagnose it properly and honestly.

I just wanted to say thank you for the immediate help you were able to provide to my Mother in dealing with my late father's Apartment electrical mishap. I really do appreciate how quickly you were able to respond to the situation. I also wanted to let you know that Jamel and William were very professional and courteous the entire time.

New house, new problems! Luckily, Transworld was there to make the problem solving process a little easier. I actually found Trasnworld through Yelp and requested a quote from them. They were quick to reach out via phone and schedule a site visit to give me a (free) estimate for the work. Let me tell you, most home repair companies that I've dealt with in Charleston have been a bit of a disappointment. It's hard to get people to call you back, or get you information. Transworld was the opposite.

They very quickly got a quote over to us and were very helpful and speedy when we wanted to make some changes to the original. The guys came out and did the work last week, and we're super pleased with how everything came out. Great work and more than fair prices. I was certain I needed a complete rewire and to my surprise, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. I will call them again if needed. No complaints at all. Haven't ever been able to say that about anyone in a longtime.

Don't bother calling anyone else but Transworld for service! Our experience was wonderful in regards to service and accommodating appointment. After trying multiple companies in the area for two months to try and set up an appointment and given the run around it was very frustrating. However, all it took was one call to Transworld! We can't say enough good things about this company.
