Amazing service and responsiveness. I would highly recommend. I had a couple of outlets replaced with GFCIs, several outlets fixed and a weird three way switched corrected. Finished in record time and at a great price.

So happy with the work. I bought a new home and had a list of things I needed addressed - from non-working outlets, to wanting can lights and light fixtures added in several rooms. They did a fantastic job. Three guys came out and just worked their way down the list. Everything that was on the original estimate, they accomplished perfectly and on budget. They were great about asking questions to make sure I was comfortable and happy with anything they did. Thrilled with their work!

So i never had them do work but i had an interaction with one of the owners and she was rude. If she was rude with me I can only imagine how she is with her customers. How can you be in business with an attitude such as this manager.

Amazingly responsive late on a Sunday night and fixed the issue in 35min: Richard himself picked up my call, said he could come right away, and drove 45min to us. Available late hours, though and efficient, and kind. I'm so glad Richard runs this business, without him I would have been in the dark till tomorrow. As any other options were closed.

I highly recommend choosing this place. I'd been installing a simple switch today, and when I finished, I realized part of the house two floors above went out. I had no idea how or why. Turns out one of the boxes I was in had old loose connection traveling up to the rest of the house. It would have taken me hours and agony to identify that issue, Richard found the problem pretty quickly and fixed it expertly. He also answered my questions about the circuit breaker and pointed out that a more robust fix will require replacing the old wires causing the problem.

Amazing service on short notice. Very knowledgeable. Did not try to drum up charges. He got straight to the source of the problems and finished in an hour. I have found my long term electrician.

Richard was wonderful and solved a problem that had been going on for years which another electrician couldn't solve (after many attempts and a diagnosis that non-working sockets couldn't be fixed without massive rewiring/major work). Also, last minute I had an emergency that meant I couldn't make our originally scheduled appointment time - Richard quickly and kindly moved the appointment later in the day.

I have used a number of electricians over the years, and my experience with NJ was one of the better ones. They were able to come in just a couple of days, charged less than another company who had previously done a similar job in a different room (installing a ceiling fan and a smart switch), did the job in half the time of the other company, and did an excellent job.

Richard was promt and professional. He was easy to get a hold off. He responded right away to all my calls and was quick to acomidate a full panel upgrade to my house.

Was great on the phone and offered a fair price. However the day of the appointment no one showed up or called with any explanation or to reschedule. I sat around all afternoon waiting for them to come.

Richard is a quiet, brilliant, technical genius, that is truly a master with all things electrical! We had 8 different projects that required his assistance and he methodically went from one task to another like a cool silent breeze and then surfaced with a smile and said I am done. In a short 2 hour visit he helped to turn our lights both inside and out into a beautiful. multiple, dimmer switch ready, outside motion sensor ready, new office fixture ready, and last but certainly not least Richard turned on & wired up my favorite. 1980 (Post College). all inclusive in one box :) Sony stereo system, with turntable, am/fm radio, CD/VCR, DVD.assortment of entertainment. which almost made me cry if I wasn't jumping up and down clapping my hands and saying.

Thank You soooooo much Richard. while I listened to a CD playing Isley. all he could do was laugh and probably thank God that he was finally exiting from this crazy woman's house whose husband was hiding in the office upstairs and whom was also laughing at me, to which I did not care. Richard is an exceptional electrician, a rare individual, honest, considerate, and possesses impeccable customer service skills. I've used his services on two occasions, each time, he demonstrated incredible knowledge in resolving my electrical issues. Most recently, yesterday - 12/16/20 when I lost power in my basement, with snow coming down.

I called him, and he told me that he will be at my house in 90 minutes. Of course, he showed up, social distancing measures - mask, wore booties (quality ones), came in and immediately identified and fixed the source of my electrical issues. I had a late night problem with a circuit breaker that was tripped and would not reset, I called NJ, they came the next morning on time. With multiple outlet, switches and a refrigerator on multiple floors this circuit breaker was handling Richard and his partner from NJ troubleshot the issue in about15 minutes, repaired the problem and closed everything up in about an hour. They were very professional and very clean. NJ is definitely my go to place for any new electrical issue.

You know how hard it is to get a contractor to come when they say they will and perform the work correctly for a fair price? NJ electric checked all those boxes. They responded quickly to my inquiry, quoted a fair price and showed up on time doing a great job installing an outdoor outlet for our deck. Would definitely use them again.

It's been years since I used NJ, but as I searched for an electrician, the name came up. The last time I used this company, the problem was improper wiring by another certified electrician. It was done quickly, properly and at a reasonable cost by NJ. I am going to recommend NJ to my family member in need of a good electrician.

After his evaluation Wilmer was very thorough and checked every issue. At the end of the visit hall the sockets were repaired and the price was right. I would use them again.
