After a year wait for their crew from the first quote, the 6 week job took 4 months. The "estimate" was updated before the construction start and went up $2,000. Another $1,000 was still added at completion, a total of more than 10% over the original. You don't get detail, just that it was more than the "allowance." I didn't get a credit "allowance" for demolition I did in the year I waited for them that was in the original estimate.
The number of days I waited for workers who did 30 minutes work and/or showed up with the wrong materials was insane. Now, I have to pay them greater than $3,000 more (more than a 10% increase) when nothing changed except that I demolished the old shower. Bathroom is nice. Won't be a repeat customer, ever.

Ron McClure, over a Jansen Glass, is a complete pleasure to work with. He designed our glass shower enclosures for our new build and they came out beautiful. The quality of the glass and the workmanship is top notch. I was so happy I had him do our bathroom vanity mirrors as well. I showed him a pricey design I saw at a very popular retail home store and he copied them to a "T" at a better price!
We also had Jansen cut a glass top for our dining room table. If you want a quality custom product at a fair price, done with a smile and good communication throughout the process - Jansen is your company.

Jansen came in to replace a shoddy tile job and repair damage from a leaky toilet. My wood-plank tile floors have never looked better. Before, they were not flat at the connecting corners and we had tiles popping throughout. They are now flat, solid and beautiful. Jansen went above and beyond with all the repairs and were pleasant to work with. They are professional and do outstanding work!

This company promised to do a simulation of a built-in fireplace, however it looks like a complete afterthought. The work is not square, there are large gaps, has not been painted nor caulked, and fireplace is still not operable. The job began in January 2020. The last time anyone was at the site was June 2020, after repeated phone calls and inquiries.
No one has returned to the work site since June. Jansen Kitchen and Bath has been paid in full for this job because of good faith handshake by contractor and the homeowner that they would return.

Jansen Kitchen and Bath completed our kitchen and bath remodel and we couldn't be happier. They were so professional the entire time they were on the job and the quality of work is bar none. Thanks to everyone who helped on the job! Sarah, our designer, was great to plan everything with, and Jeff, the project manager, kept us well informed on everything that was going on.

The Jansen crew has made two pretty small jobs feel like superstar projects! Spread out over a year, Mike and Angela and their teams kept us informed of all procedures, were great at communicating any time changes and their work exceeded our expectations both times. Plus, they will attend to anything that may come up weeks after completion. Ashley and Tessa, as our design consultants, were great to work with as we came in with our ideas pretty well set and they helped tweak those ideas. Thanks again, Ron and Paul! Dave and Liz Wheeler

I am extremely pleased with our granite kitchen countertop that they installed. Make sure that both parties are completely clear about what you are expecting and wanting them to do to avoid any miscommunications, as those can be very problematic, but I found them to be absolutely fantastic both times I have used their services! The workers were professional, courteous, and they explained everything I cared to ask about in detail. I already have and will continue to recommend them for anyone that asks me for a reference.

My mom and I both used this company and we are soooo glad. We, both, had stone kitchen counter tops installed. We had visited multiple places looking for the perfect stone. Then we visited Jansen Kitchen & Bath. They sent us to Triton Stone in Loxley Alabama. Triton is the wholesaler most of the stores in the area used. This place is huge. It's the size of a Walmart Super center and all it carries is stone.
We found the stone that would compliment our kitchens. They called Jansen and we got our estimates. Richard, a master at stone, then came out and re measured our kitchens. He then took the stones and calculated where the cuts should be made so it would look seem less. Richard is a genius. His team then removed the old countertops and installed the new. The seems are invisible. So if you need new stone counter tops, this company is the only one to use!

We used Jansen for a master bath renovation in 2014. I've hired contractors thru the years and wanted pros for this job so I would have a foreman for the plumbers / painters Etc to report to insuring the job would be done properly. I thought the individual workers did their job fine. The job ran 2+ weeks over, the designer sent the wrong tile out which was actually installed and had to be ripped out and re done.
It seemed like a daily thing that workers were pulled from my job to go work on "a big job." Really. The foreman actually said that to me. Re: having a designer, she seemed very distracted/indifferent. The day the wrong tile was installed I sent a photo to the designer and foreman and their reply was yes. That is the wrong tile. No apology. The correct tile was set in but I noticed after the job pieces are chipped.
On the last day the workers packed up and left, foreman did not do walk thru with us or say goodbye or ask if we had any concerns. If you have a mere $16,000 to spend on a bath reno consider being your own contractor. Because with this company you will be.

On the search for a new bathroom sink and faucet came in here expecting that they would have quite a bit of varieties which they did not, A friend recommended this place to me in hopes that I would find what I was looking for but after browsing through the absolutely didn't have anything, although I did find a New kitchen faucet although that's not what I came for I love happy that I was able to find something I liked.
