In 1984, John Vines started a modest plumbing company out of his home with just himself and a truck. He had one goal in mind: to provide a quality service to people without over inflated prices. Within just a few years, people all over Birmingham, AL and the surrounding areas begin to know the yellow vans with one of the most memorable slogans of any business around: We Repair What Your Husband Fixed.

In 1992, his then 12 year old son, Brad, started working with him on weekends and during the summer. During these years, Brad learned the value of hard work and treating people with honesty and integrity.
