Support Local This local family owned business is amazing and has been in business since 1978! After a move our chandeliers were damaged and needed to be repaired. The care and work that went into the repair leaves them looking BRAND NEW! We couldn't be happier! They also came to the new house and took down the old chandeliers and put up the ceiling medallions and hung the new chandeliers.
They were amazing to work with and took amazing care of the chandeliers - do not hesitate to give them a call! Their work is guaranteed Full service repair shop of ceiling fans, light fixtures, and lamps!

This was the 2nd we have used Oak Hills Electric recently. We were 100% satisfied both times. The guys who came were both super. Followed all protocols, i.e. Covid, as well as expected consideration for us. I wish I knew the feller who came yesterday's name. He couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I will use Oak Hills for any electric service needs indefinitely into the future.

I had recently bought a home in Omaha. And had some small and some big electrical issues that needed to be fixed. After a few scary estimates from other contractors. I decided to ask people at work who they worked with. OakHillsElectric came highly recommend. I Called and set up a appointment with there friendly staff. They sent two guys out, with no extra charge!
They where very nice and respectful! Always had a smile on there face! They where fast and efficient and did great work! They made my home safe. And saved me lots of money! I now Highly recommend them for any electrical work!

I've used Oak Hills Electric a few times and I have been extremely happy with them. Their electricians always introduce themselves when they come in and are very friendly and knowledgeable. The last job I had done on 12/21/18 they sent two guys out. I was expecting a much larger bill but was surprised how low the price was which made me even happier. I highly recommend Oak Hills and will be using them in the future.

Bought a house recently and there were electrical issues the home inspector missed. I had two electricians come out to try and fix them but they could not. They came back with huge estimates so I had Oak Hills come out instead and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem in the first visit and the total cost was less than half the other two quotes. Happy our stuff works and more happy with the cost. Highly recommend

WAY too expensive. Look, I understand electrical work must be done correctly. Many electricians can do good work. Oak Hills does good work. But they add an extra hour to the job every time.you look at your bill and you think, "that guy was not here 3 hours, only 2!" So an extra $85 is added to your bill. Also, they ALWAYS have to run to the store to pick up a piece they are missing/needing and that counts against your time.
In my case, the guy was missing a switch and plate for a can light. Then, when he came back 45 minutes later, he had the wrong switch plate - which they charged me for anyway! I like Oak Hills - they show up at least. But too expensive for my taste and I will not use them again.

I always get good service from Oak Hills Electric. Their technicians are friendly and know their stuff. I've never had then miss a bid on a corporate or residential project and if there is a problem or complication they talk to me face to face or on the phone and we resolve whatever the issue might be. I highly recommend these guys if you want a fair price and the work done right.

Gary B. I took a fan in for bearing replacement. The fan was working fine just noisy as far as the motor bearings. I was quoted a price of roughly $140 dollars for the repair. The bearings were $90 dollars which seemed very high but this shop does repairs for Casablanca fans. I was then called and told all of a sudden my fan stopped working and I would need two new boards for about $145 plus labor.
I just picked the fan up and used another electrician to get it working. His viewpoint was the boards were switched. He said it was very strange both boards would be bad all of a sudden when they worked when the fan was first brought in. I expressed my concerns with the shop to no avail. I will never take anything back there and will never suggest anyone I talk to ever use this shop.

I went to have an antique crystal chandelier cleaned and rewired. Since I own a shop, I asked to have all the left over parts for future projects. It was the worst experience. First it took two months for them to finish the job. Then I received a call asking if I wanted to sell the fixture for parts. Then they called and said they had broken an arm and all the arms would have to be replace (Are you getting the picture here?) and would do the repairs for just the labor.
Every time I called to inquire I was told that they were waiting for parts. I finally received the chandelier, it was horrible. It was not structure the same. You could tell they used other parts to construct it. They did not use a cloth cord using instead one similar to an extension cord. The whole chandelier was loose. The column and cups (called bobeche) were so loose they shook.
The washers did not hold the cups down. They used the wrong arms on the fixture then requested and insisted that I asked for them. And finally, the kicker is they kept the original crystal arms denying it of course. I know this because the original ones were an odd size 5 1/2 and gave me cheap standard ones. After asking to purchase the chandelier for parts they end up replacing them and keeping them after all. My experience with their work was slow, dishonest, and sloppy. Use them at your own risk.
