Our company began installing fences for residents of the Miami Valley in 1971. The company was founded by Harry & Martha "Jean" Willhoite under the goal of building beautiful fences that last for years. Professional craftsmanship has always been the cornerstone of our company. For this reason, all of our products are installed by our own trained craftsmen.
We take great pride in the finished product. During the seventies, while most companies offered limited, pre-fabricated wood sections, we introduced a wide variety of highly customized wood fences. At that time, our custom-built products helped create a new demand for wood fences.

I purchased my black iron fence and had a wonderful installation team. I have had over time had my gates readjusted as they had problems closing and opening. From the person who answered the phone to the installer to customer service I have received great service. They arrived on time, cleaned up after the work they did and I highly recommend their services.

They seemed like a good reputable company. Jim came out and to look at my fence and was very friendly. Waited a week for the estimate to come through and then I called them for an update. Jim said he'd work on it that evening but then he never got back to me. I called and talked to the receptionist twice after that and they still never got back in touch.
Left me high and dry and scrambling to find someone to do the work for me at the last minute. Here's a tip for Jim and Willhoite. if you don't want the business, at least call and let your prospective customer know. I can't recommend anyone work with them.

I got a fence estimate in July, Jake was great. Paid the deposit the same day and was told they were already scheduling into September. I was to receive a follow up phone call with the installation date in a week. Halloween is next week, I still have no fence. I have received zero communication from Wilhoite since July. When I call to ask when my fence will be installed, I am given a date 2-3 weeks away. I hope they are enjoying my money, my dogs love living in a laundry room while I'm at work.

Terrible customer service. We called these guys for an estimate and set up an appointment and no one ever showed up, they claimed they set the appointment but somehow it didn't transfer to someones phone? So we set another appointment, someone was supposed to be here at 3:30pm and we never hear from anyone until after 4pm telling us that they are running 15 minutes late (after already being 30 minutes late).
Even after all this we still allow the guy to come and give us an estimate, he arrives 45 minutes late and tells us we will have a written estimate that same night. Well here we are three days later and we have nothing. We should have known after how the appointment scheduling went but this will never be a company I give my business to.

Jim, and his team at Willhoite & Sons Fencing did an excellent job from start to finish. Job was completed quicker than expected and I have had many complements on my new fence. When Jim was not on site the Forman of the team did an amazing job of explaining the process and their attention to detail was amazing. My family cannot be happier with our decision to go with Willhoite and Sons.

NEGLIGENCE - That is the only word that can explain Willhoite's lack of following proper procedures. My neighbor had a fence put in about a month ago. Since then my internet speeds have been degrading and then finally dropped completely yesterday. AT&T came out today and traced the issue back to Willhoite cutting my main connection line while installing fence posts.
All of this could have been prevented by Willhoite waiting on the utility lines to be marked. Willhoite had the post holes dug 1 day before OOPS even showed up to spray a line directly on one of the holes. Now I have AT&T possibly billing me $99 for a service call and I have to have a new line trenched through my backyard. Sowing grass seed is another cost that I have to absorb. Another house in the neighborhood has the same issue too so I'm not the only one affected.
