Urban Desert Pest Control

I really don't like the subscription contract model these new pest control companies are using. Seems that's the new trend on yelp. I prefer to call my pest control service on demand or work out a 2-4 month plan based on results. But these guys try to hook you into an annual subscription much like a software product that you have to continue paying for each month (or every two months). I found a local vendor who provides what I consider to be a more honest offering (without a subscription contract plan).

Our house has been over run by "Monsoon Beetles" so I called Urban Pest & left a message. Shortly there after I received a return call from Alicia who said that Steve will be at our house between 4:45-6:45 to treat the problem. At 3:45 Steve shows up! Steve has previously serviced our house & my wife & I have always found him to be friendly & very patient in answering our questions. I was very impressed also with Alicia being on top of our problem & promptly setting up a convenient appointment for us. Good job guys!

We have never before had a need for pest control service at our small business, but when we recently did, I contacted Urban Desert Pest Control. Brad, the owner, arrived as scheduled to evaluate our needs. Seeing that we had a very minor problem he suggested several simple, inexpensive things that we could do ourselves to prevent any future problems. Brad was extremely pleasant and helpful and, after all was said and done, there was no charge for his visit and valuable advice. Should we ever have a need for their services in the future I would have no hesitation to contact them and would recommend them to family and friends.

We continue to use Urban Desert Pest Control because they are reliable and provide clean, friendly, professional service with each quarterly visit. They have been extremely proactive in helping us maintain our services and scheduling is easy and convenient. Our new tech, Tony, arrived during the designated appointment window and was extremely friendly and thorough with what he was going to be doing today both inside and outside the house. I look forward to seeing Tony again for our next quarterly service!

After moving into our new build we were in desperate need of pest control. We were seeing an alarming amount of spiders inside and out. This is a no go for us. So I looked up pest control in my area and found a local company. They were quick to service and offered a great rate with a smile. Had to doc one star for incorrectly invoicing on two occasions but they were quick to resolve. I will be using them again in the future now that my house is bug-free!

Great work from Tony with Urban Desert Pest Control this morning at our home in Waddell. He was personable, educational, and did a really thorough treatment of the inside and outside of our home. service from Urban has always been great but Tony took it to another level, we look forward to our next visit from him.

Tony was fantastic, the original phone call to book services were friendly low pressure very informative. Prices were reasonable and Tony arrived on time was very thorough and knowledgeable. Based on reviews I read when I moved to Arizona 2 years ago, I hired Urban Desert for regular pest control at my home. I have been extremely pleased with the service. Every person I have dealt with at the company, including the office staff and every technician who has performed the spraying has been extremely professional, friendly and dependable.

Before each spraying, I am sent a text by the office staff confirming the date and approximate time of the upcoming spraying. Then, on the day of the spraying, I am texted by the technician when he is on his way to the house and they always arrive as expected. Without exception, every technician who has performed the spraying has been professional, friendly, dependable and conscientious in his work. I highly recommend Urban Desert.

Urban Desert has been treating our home for insects for over a year and they are an excellent company. From the prompt, polite, and professional scheduling office, to the phenomenal service technicians, I cannot recommend this company enough. We've had the pleasure of working with service technician Jeff who always does a wonderful and thorough job, and today I had the pleasure of meeting Tony.

Not only did he do a thorough spraying for insects around our property, but he was extremely kind, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this company!

This company left my house exposed to a FIRE HAZARD that they caused! I hired Urban to remove birds from a vent leading from the interior of my home to the exterior. To diagnose where the birds were, they removed the metal dryer vent leading from my dryer to the wall. After determining this was NOT the vent the birds were in, they attempted to put the metal vent back on. That's where the trouble started. First, installing a simple dryer vent is not complicated. However, after well over 30 minutes the crew still could not figure how to put on the standard vent.

Instead of owning up to the fact that they did not know what they were doing, they used DUCT TAPE to affix the vent to the dryer and to the wall. They should have used the metal clamps that were already on the vent. Using duct tape on a dryer vent is a serious fire hazard! After a couple of days of doing laundry I noticed a strange smell. I pulled back the dryer to find duct tape all over the brand new dryer vent I had just put into my home only 2 weeks prior.

Now you would think that leaving a home exposed to a fire hazard would make the company want to resolve the issue quickly. I had to message them several times over the course of a day to get them to offer a resolution. Unfortunately, their resolution is to send out one of their crews in 4 days. So basically, I'm supposed to trust a crew from the same company that caused the fire hazard to fix the issue correctly this time?

And even if I did trust them, they won't come out for FOUR DAYS. The lack of concern for what could have resulted in a fire in my home is astounding. It AMAZES me that this company has positive reviews!

Urban Desert Pest Control has been great for me. Steven is my usual tech to come and spray for bugs etc, and he is always a pleasure to talk to, and gets the job done quick and efficient. Today i also had a termite treatment done by Andrew & Tyler. They were awesome! They arrived right on time, were very quick and knowledgeable on the job. Really appreciate the work!

I used Urban Pest Control for my house and my father's house and they were awesome! The technician that came to my house was so friendly and knowledgeable. I was referred by a coworker and I have referred them to my sister in law and I always hear great things about their experiences. They also have very good prices for their services. Our service technician, Tony, did an amazing job! He took his time to thoroughly spray the inside of the house, garage & yard. He took care of the entire patio and all around our outside living area. He even swept and removed cobwebs from all corners of our covered patio and eaves around the house. This was the best service we have had from Urban Desert Pest Control and we have been using them for the past year. I can highly recommend the company and especially Tony. He truly did a fantastic job.

This pest control company rocks! They show up when they say they will and actually do the job they promise to do. The owner, Jeremy, great, super knowledgeable guy. The office staff very nice. Juan, one of their techs, very nice and thorough. We love URBAN. Jeremy took the time to educate me on one of my critter fears - scorpions. Now I can be more proactive and less fearful.

Pest control.simple enough. You call the guy, they come out and spritz away. Done. Well, if you went with another company, that's about what you'd get. I just had my house and exterior serviced by Urban Desert. Their tech, Tony, was more like an experienced advisor. He not only answered my questions, but gave me a mini course on pests and rodents.

He was very thorough and made sure not to spray into my planters. It was an extremely windy day. Afterwards, he chatted with me like we were old college buddies. That, my friend, is good customer service. By the way, we do not have any problems with insects! I've done the research, go with this company.

On Sunday afternoon, terminate tubes showed up. Researched reviews on Yelp. Called them on Monday afternoon to schedule a free estimate. I met the owner Brad. Super nice and professional. They where able to fit me into their schedule the next day. My technician was Matt Lane. He was very nice, professional and told me what he was going to do each step of the extermination. When I noticed termite tubes coming up the foundation into my house, I started to look for a termite service. I called another company first and they wanted to charge me half of the cost of the service even before coming to see the house. Once I called Urban Desert they sounded knowledgeable and they had a no-cost estimate visit. Steve came to do the estimate and was very professional.

We scheduled to have the treatment and Matt came out and walked me through what he was to do that day. After he was done, he went over everything again. He was courteous and professional. They have a great warranty and everyone we spoke with was great. The pricing, I felt, was also reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

My husband did his due diligence when it came to researching pest control companies for termite prevention. We ended up using Urban Desert and couldn't be more pleased! Brad, the owner came out and did the inspection himself and spent quite a bit of time explaining the process and chemical used in the application. He's been been doing this a long time and it showed. I have been using Urban Desert Pest Control for about 4 years now. Initially called them out for a large scorpion issue. After speaking with an Owner, we decided to seal the exterior of the home. Ever since had 99% decrease of scorpions inside the home. Big shout out to Jim! Jim has treated my residence several times. Each time he is thorough, diligent, and professional.

He shows a big passion for what he does and always puts customer service first. Between scheduled treatments, he happened to be treating a neighbors house. He recognized me as a customer, went out of his way to say hello and ensure we were happy with the prior treatment and asking about any activity. Jim consistently goes above and beyond to ensure we receive proper and good service. Those small gestures, professionalism, and quick responses make this company above many others in the industry.

We had Urban Desert Pest Control did a termite treatment for our house this week. We had a little problem with their scheduling in the beginning. But the technician, Matt, was wonderful. He was on time, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable. He explained the process clearly and took his time to make sure everything was done right. We are very happy with the service that Matt provided. Wow, what a great experience we had. Sure, it's never fun to have to treat your home for termites, but this team (Matt and Tyler and the owner) made the experience pleasant. This team is the epitome of professionalism. We had most recently had another experience with a different contractor that was not professional and having these guys visit our house was the exact opposite. Company-branded clothing and van, which is comforting as a woman who is welcoming a stranger in my home.

The whole process is seamless. They text you to remind you of the appointment the day before and then they texted me 30 minutes before arriving to give me a heads up. The whole process was explained well and well- documented. Every part of the process was easy because of their organization. You feel like you're in great hands! When he showed up he was friendly and made great conversation. The company in general is top-notch. All of their points of contacts have great attitudes. We generally live in CA and come to our home in AZ when we can. Upon arriving this past week, I found evidence of termites - a single termite tube hanging from the ceiling in our master bath. I immediately called Urban Desert (we are current pest control customers) and found that they have a Termite division. And they're busy. Took a few days before they could come out. Matt arrived as scheduled and explained that this is evidence of Subterranean Termites.

He further explained their process and, after measuring the property, the cost of treatment. We agreed (current customers get a 10% discount!) and are scheduled in a couple of weeks. The treatment comes with a five-year warranty and will not only kill the current residents but will prevent further infestations. Matt was very efficient so I requested that he be the tech doing the treatment.

I wish I could give this 10 stars! First of. Kayla was very helpful and very fast at responding to my message for a quote. I told her the problem and she knew exactly what to inform me. Gave me a plan and quote right away. Secondly. Jim! Was very informative and pin point all the possibilities of the trouble areas I need to look into. Very detailed with explanations and very helpful.

Matthew 'Matt' was fantastic! Other companies had scared me about the price and potential risk of damage to my patio when treating for termites but not Brad and Matt. Matt was prompt, professional, thorough and my house feels cleaner of bugs already. No damage to my patio pavers and one of the only companies who stands by their product with a true 5 year warranty. I recently used Urban Desert Pest Control to treat termites at my home and am incredibly happy with the experience. Jim came out and treated the house and yard for scorpions. He was generous with the chemical, especially outside, so it would serve as a barrier to entry by bugs. He was kind and friendly and took all the time I needed to answer my questions. He explained how the chemicals work and showed me ways to seal the house so that bugs can't come in. He was professional and honest, and didn't try to sell me anything. The price was good. I will definitely use them again for pest problems in the future.

They listen to my concerns and educate me on the pests that enter my home and how to avoid future occurrences. Scheduling is quick and easy via phone call.

They even will text you when you are due for future treatments without hijacking your inbox. If you aren't satisfied with the results of a treatment, all you have to do is call them and they will send someone out to readdress the issue. Luckily, I've never had to call them back, but that policy, the lack of contract, the affordable pricing, and the ease of doing business with Urban Desert Pest Control is why I would recommend this business for your pest extermination needs.

Fabulous service from the initial email contact to set up the appointment. The owner, Brad, came out for the walk through and he couldn't have been nicer or more professional. He explained everything he was doing and came up with a plan of service. Fortunately we had zero pest activity, but, this being Phoenix, one needs to be proactive. The very next day Matt (the Termite Team Lead as well as an Army Vet - thank you for your service) was out to do his thing and he too couldn't have been nicer or more professional.

He explained everything in even more detail. There were a few areas my husband didn't want to do the "usual" way and Matt had no problem giving us different options. We have been using Urban Desert Pest Control for about four years now. Mostly because their workers always arrive on time. That was a problem we had regarding other pest control companies. The others were like a cable company arriving between a 3-4 hour time span. UDPC workers are always professional and courteous as well. We had a "new hire" today, named Tony.

The company must train very well because we would never have known it if he hadn't informed us. He was in time, asked us all the right questions, took extra care regarding our dog, sprayed the house with efficiency and professionalism, swept for webs and rid our grass of the flying knats that were driving us crazy. Tony had a good sense of humor to boot.

Had a quote done by these great people. I ended up doing the work myself but they had a great quote and great discussion. The owner came out to do my bid. Even though I did the work myself, they were excellent to work with. Highly recommend. They appreciate the vets and offered me a discount. Great company.
