Our storage roof needs to be fixed because there are huge trees falling on them because of a high wind storm. My friend gave me a number for this company. Then I call them and they respond immediately. They said they can visit it and I agree since I have no work to do. I gave them my location and after an hour they came since our location was too far from them.

They check it and explain what's the best. They suggested a new roof instead of fixing it because there is a big hole. They also guaranteed that the price was fair and reasonable. I'm happy that we can save money by this. They came back another day and they have lots of materials. Our storage roof was just fixed in 5 hours. They are quick and professional. A downspout on our building is failing. TAR came out and helped assess the situation. I was provided a timely estimate. Everything was very professional and friendly.

I want to share a fair review of TAR Restoration. Background: We hired TAR Restoration to replace the flat roof on our 6-unit condo building in the Ukrainian Village spring of 2022. The Good: The crew worked hard and fast and eventually replaced our roof and fixed the leaks we were experiencing. The Bad: The company struggled with transparency in pricing/over charging, quality, and repairing damages. Pricing transparency: The original quote for our roof was $50,000, but the final bill was almost $75,000, an overcharge of 50%!

Our roof was in very poor condition, so the rafters had to be reinforced to support the roof. First, up front there was no communication that "rafter repair" meant sistering the rafters with 2x4s, which should have be communicated better. Second, they marked up the 2x4s board 12x and charged $12.5/ft. I understand they have to get the lumber to the site, but a 12x mark up is not ok. Quality: The crew worked very fast, but the quality suffered because of it.

For instance, there were many holes in the seams where the rubber roof joins that they had to fix, when repainting railing that the had damaged they did it an hour before a rainstorm so all the color pealed off, and some of the caulking work was so poorly done that I had to redo it to fill gaps due to sloppy work. Repairing Damages: Perhaps worst of all where the damages that the crew caused to the old roof while installing the new one.

This resulted in major leaks in our master bedroom, master bathroom, and damaged our hardwood floors. The company offered to fix the ceiling and walls, but didn't want to fix the floor properly (they offered a credit that only covered a fraction of the damage), so we had to file an insurance claim. With scheduling of construction crews it's going to take all summer to fix our bedroom, bathroom and floors.

We have a 10-month old baby which makes this even more difficult. I've attached photos of the damage to our condo and a video of the leak. SUMMARY: I would not recommend TAR based on the damage caused in the process of fixing our roof and the issues we had with pricing transparency.

We had TAR out to quote new siding for our condo association. They responded quickly and provided a fair, prompt quote for their services. Unfortunately, the association decided to go in a different direction - no fault of theirs. Working with TAR in quoting the job was a pleasure, their price quoted was more than fair. We'll be back in touch with TAR for future projects.

Using TAR Restoration to shingle my garage roof has been the best experience I've had with a contractor for years! From timeliness in responding to my request for a quote, showing up soon after, being on time, being courteous and professional in manner, and being knowledgeable about their work, I couldn't ask for better. Communication about pricing and a clearly written contract came soon from Krystian, and Dominik the project manager, kept me fully informed. Their crew finished the job in an afternoon. It looks great! If only every project went this smoothly!

TAR replaced our gutters on a three story condo. They provided excellent customer service and quality work.

I had them out to check on our garage roof, which was starting to look a little rough with all the high-wind storms. Unfortunately, we needed a completely new roof. I was happy with how they explained what was going on and why they were suggesting a new roof rather than a fix. Most importantly, the price point was fair, so I went with them and got in line for the roofing season.

They came out a couple weeks ago, tore the old roof off, put the new one up in just about 3.5 hours. The new roof looks SO much better than the old one, and I am very happy about the responsiveness of the company to any concerns and questions. I've had them out a couple of other times to check potential leaks with the house roof and both times told me not to worry about it, so they don't just charge for random things, which of course I appreciate! So happy to find a roofer that does great work and is ethical about the work they suggest.

Very responsive and helpful, and can't emphasize enough how friendly and speedy they were. Did large patch work for an HOA, so the quoting process involved 5 vendors and took a very long time. Had a great experience with TAR. A representative came out very quickly after I called to make an appointment. His assessment was efficient, he was professional and pleasant to work with. As soon as it was warm enough someone else (also professional and efficient) came out to fix a new roof leak and an ongoing gutter issue related to work done by another company. It would definitely recommend their services.

Needed our roof completely re-shingled, found TAR through YELP and saw all the glowing reviews. Got 3 quotes and ended up going with TAR, was very happy with them. Here's a few things I really liked: - Quoted me a better price than 2 other companies- very reasonable. - TAR were the only roofing company to get up and inspect my roof before the quote.

Other companies assured me they had enough satellite photos which I'm sure is true but I felt better about TAR inspection because of it - They were really flexible about the start date, Dominic helped us schedule the replacement around the holidays - Their team was really great with our neighbors- they also cleaned up all the debris from their yards and left no trace - Completed the whole roof in a day and a half - Explained how additional costs might happen if they needed to replace our plywood, turned out it was healthy we paid exactly what we were quoted. Of the five estimates I requested from different companies, with the expectation of 1 other company, TAR was the most thorough with their estimate and explanation than any other company. Did I want a new roof? Nope. Did I want to pay for a new roof during the holiday? Hell no. Does anyone ever say, "wow, nice roof!" Nope - no one notices, but it's nice to know that while it's raining I don't have to worry about any leaks, and it's one thing I don't have to think about anymore. They were great, fast, and incredibly patient with all my questions and requests. If I ever need a roof again, they will be my first call.

Our rooftop deck began leaking into the office below it after a series of torrential downpours in the summer of 2021. Damian and his team responded almost immediately to our request for a quote. They were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We also needed our existing rooftop deck carefully removed prior to the roof repair, then replaced to help save on costs.

Unfortunately most rooftop contractors do not provide this service, and after calling several decking contractors we found that most were uninterested in our business - or were only willing to remove old decking/replace with new material ($$$$). Damian and his team at TAR Restoration have a sister company - Deck4Me - that was able to deliver on all our needs and save us some serious money! I highly recommend these guys!

No one likes replacing a roof, especially when your current one is only 5 years old, but these guys were great. They honored the price even after the price of lumber went up. They communicated clearly throughout. They even finished the job early. And they did everything I asked during inspection. I didn't expect to be a big fan of a roofing company, but I guess I am now.

It's hard to rate a roof repair leak since they could have done nothing for all I know. I can comment on the inspection from Damian who was great. Nice guy and knowledgeable. Non urgent repair was within the 2 weeks promised. I was kept in the loop through email and texts. Workers arrived the day as scheduled and did a good job putting my siding piece back on. this price seemed quite high for such a small area of repair but I do trust this company. They do not seem shady at all like many others. I've had several try and fix my issue over 6 years. I trust this company actually fixed it. i would use them again.

TAR is awesome! Both times that I've called them for projects that needed to get done, they were so responsive and did excellent work! Krystian is very friendly when coming out to assess the project, he really made it easy to understand what the issue is and how to fix it (I hate not knowing what's going on!). Dominik was also really responsive both times, and kept me in the loop with project updates, weather delays, etc.

Both projects were done quickly, and with no surprise costs at the end. Forever recommend them for any roofing projects you have! I hope I don't have to call them again anytime soon (lol). But if I do, I at least don't have to stress about "dealing with" any companies - they make the whole process nice and easy.

This is the second time our HOA has used TAR for a roofing need and they'll continue to be our go-to based on our experience with them! They're reasonably priced, everyone we come into contact with is professional and they do a great job. Highly recommend!

Tree came down crashing on our roof, taking out our skylight and gutters, and leaving some holes in our roof. Tar replaced a huge Skylight 48"x48" added new gutters and patched areas on roof damaged by tree. Very pleased, crew was very professional and did a great job. Would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

I reached out to TAR Restoration when I noticed a few shingles had fallen off my roof after a storm, and I'm sure glad I did. Krystian, who was very knowledgeable and professional, came to inspect my roof and he explained that some of the shingles were not properly nailed and showed me some of the problem areas he identified. Additionally, I wanted a section of my roof patched as I planned on eliminating a chimney that was no longer in use. Coordinating a mason and a roofer as to not have any potential problems arise due to weather is always a difficult task.

Much to my surprise, I expressed my concerns regarding timing to Dominik (Project s supervisor) and he dispatched his crew, who took care of everything. I even asked for pictures of some of the changes to the roof, since I was not about to get up there, and they quickly provided them. These guys are true professionals and I highly recommend them.

This company was a pleasure to work with! Starting from scheduling someone to come and inspect the scope of work for a roof leak all the way through to the completion of work, their communication and professionalism really shined through. The scheduling was easy and straightforward over the phone. They called me the next day after I submitted a request via Yelp. Krystian came to do the inspection and was very friendly and professional.

He wore a mask and shoe booties while in the house. The estimate for the work was sent to me the next business day. Then, after that was settled, the project manager Dominik kept me in the loop of when the work would be scheduled and called and emailed the day before and the day the workers arrived. The workers themselves were also very respectful of the property and wore masks when I met with them outside.

All debris was cleared when they left and I received photos of the completed work the next day to complete the remaining payment. All in all it was one of the most stress-free and professional jobs I've had to deal with as a homeowner. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs roof work, either flat or shingled.

Overall a great experience working with TAR. They were accommodating, professional and efficient. I liked that we had a project manager because I had a lot of questions and he was always efficient in his responses. Other companies I felt like were very slow in getting back to me and also didn't feel their pricing was fair or transparent! Also, when the work was done everything was cleaned up perfectly. I would highly recommend TAR for roof work!

I have managed capital projects for two HOA's thus far and have red flags that immediatly go up, especially when working with roofing companies. This is one of the most extensive and expensive projects you can undergo as a building and a fairly quick and uninformed position on behalf of the condo owners. I was very impressed from the outset on TAR's professionalism from the evaluation Christian performed, the photos he took and his explanation to us and the time he spent with me on all the details. Also, Dominik was fantastic.

He was a pleasure to work with and made my entire experience outstanding. He went as far service-wise as to come meet me prior to my job beginning to collect our down payment in person when I had trouble with our online payment system. Throughout the project, we were impressed with the quality of work completed and the attention to details that was paid. My first time using with TAR restoration. I was referred by my friend. Had my fireplace chimney removed from roof to ceiling so I could do the rest after. Waited 6 months to see if everything was good. No leaks and happy with their work. Pricing is fair, crew was professional. I would have expected an additional support between the rafters where the chimney used be but as long as no one is walking in that spot it is ok. Also better color match for the shingles. See pics. I would still use them again, just ask more details next time.

TAR restoration did an extremely well job on our condo roof. They did an assessment of the roof, the repairs needed and provided a fair market value price. They didn't BS either as they could have. We were expecting a full gut of the roof and upon inspection, they recommended that we just do simple patches and lay the outer layer with a reflecting paint. This is guaranteed to last another 15-20 years according to their estimates. Would definitely recommend them.
