Bob's Construction

Had bathroom done-tile work and painted. Price was a little high. Workers had to come back to retouch some of their work in the end. Quality of work was verily acceptable but could have been better. They did not clean up their mess when completed. The owner, Bob, needs to be more professional; very rude, impatient, and needs to learn to communicate.

People aren't mind readers. Sometimes their workers don't always come when they suppose to which leaves you guessing. Most of the time they don't call you with notice when they will show up. They took a long time to finish the job. I asked one of the workers after they were finished when I should pay them but he didn't have that information. I didn't know that the job would be finished that day.

The owner phoned me twice a few minutes later and demanded payment. It was after 5:00 P.M. The bank was already closed which I couldn't transfer my money from my savings to my checking account so that I can pay them. The owner said I have to pay my workers and I need to be payed now! Most anywhere else would give you notice with a courtesy phone call ahead of time to let you know that the work will be finished today and that payment is due today which he did not do.

If he would have done this I could have had the money ready for him. He wouldn't allow me to go to the bank the following morning so that I can pay him which he only lives less than a mile from us. We finally found a way to pay him. I couldn't believe the angry violent temper in his voice, the rudeness, and not being patient and once again with no notice to us for payment.

I'm no mind reader. I am honest and pay all my bills. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want the headache. I never had this problem with anyone else. I highly recommend that Bob should take a class or course on good customer service, communication, and anger management. Update: The leak came back again. Had to hire another company.

They replaced the pan in our shower. This did fix my leak. After several months there is still no leak. Bob ripped us off. After hiring someone else I had to pay for this the 2nd time. If this would have been done right the 1st time I would not have to pay for this again. I give Bob the crook an F-, I give the other company an A+ because they fixed the problem, were honest, and excellent to work with.

Jury still out on the company. I hired this company to replace 3 porch pillars. They came out and performed it on emergency basis and I appreciated that. Problem is.the pillars are too short and I cannot fully open my screen door completely. Gave Bob a call and sent him a video of the flaw. He said they would get by to take care of this. Well.it's been almost 3 weeks since I last spoke with him and I have not heard from anyone. Hmmm?

I don't have a fancy house in an upscale neighborhood, but it's mine and all I could afford. I would appreciate some respect as a paying customer. For Christ sake guys, Make This Right! That's all I ask!

Bob's Construction was very helpful to me and my husband in a time of need. They were able to come out and repair rotted and exposed siding that was allowing animals into the walls of my home and preventing us from finishing a patio project. Unlike other experiences I've had with contractors, Bob was always polite, responsive, and professional. I appreciate he took the time to explain exactly what we needed and how he was going to repair it. The work was completed in a timely fashion and they cleaned up the site before leaving. I would recommend them and use them again for home repairs.

I'm a Real Estate agent in our market and used Bob's Construction on my personal home for storm damage. Kyle (Owner and son to Owner) fought with our insurance company for months to get approval. We had significant storm damage to our siding and roof. After a long 4+ months we finally received approval from insurance and had the roof replaced and opted to get all new siding. Kyle always answered when I called and did his best to ensure business was handled properly.

No company is perfect but when a company makes a mistake and they quickly rectifies the situation, that makes them perfect in my book. We were beyond satisfied with our roof and gutters. Thoroughly enjoyed working with Bob and Kyle and I have since referred them to so many clients who equal or greater review. Reliable, quality and reasonable.hard to find these days and this company represents all 3!

I have been Bob's Business Rep for Sherwin-Williams the last 6 years and have had nothing but great things to say about him, his wife Kim, son Kyle and his entire workforce at Bob's Construction. He's always been very professional and easy to communicate with on upcoming projects. I've been to numerous job sites to check out their painting and I've been very impressed with their attention to detail and high quality materials that they use on projects.

I have used Bob's Construction for many services over the years and always found them to be professional, proficient, and reasonably priced. it's always good to have a go to contractor you feel like you can trust. Services: Storm / wind damage roof repair, Roof installation, Gutter installation

Everything from start to finish went perfectly with this company. Bob the owner initially came out because I submitted a request with another company who dropped the ball and never came out to do the roof inspection. He walked me through every detail and answered all of my questions that I had -there were many. He also worked with my insurance to make sure all the storm damaged items were replaced.

He has now helped me with several other projects around my home. Bob is very knowledgeable, and affordable. I highly recommend this company and have already higher him again.

This company did a bathroom remodel for me. The finishing drywall work was poorly done a second time and I don't want to give them a third chance. The owner, while in my home looking at the mistakes, was very disrespectful. He kept saying "well don't you make mistakes at your job?". I had to ask him to leave my home and then even just leave the property.

Before he left he said he didn't want to provide me the 30 days for final payment that HIS contract literally allows for. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Bob's Construction and Bob Clements (the owner). I wanted to add that we had to have a plumber come out and fix the work that was done by Bob's Construction. The vanity leaked because a piece of the drain assembly was cracked.

We also had no cold water going to our shower. So the plumber had to fix that as well. And 7 months later, the floor creaks terribly and the tub creaks when you stand and move around in it.

We had a new porch added to our home and we couldn't be happier with the quality work performed by Bob's Construction. They were pleasant to work with and met our expectations and then some. We will be hiring them in the future and have already referred them to friends, family, and neighbors! Thank you, Bob's Construction!

Bob's Construction did a great job installing our interior door but they did a terrible job installing our exterior door. It took them 3 days to install. They installed the door handles upside down and the door is not secure. You can push on the door and it comes open. I have called them to try to get them to come back out but they have not called me back. This is not good business practice!

Bob's Construction never disclosed they had failed inspections. Told me they were done. I started occupying structure only to have City Inspector Show up and say it never passed final inspection. They make a lot of excuses and do not deliver on their commitments. Examples of their work - looped breakers, gap on garage door, nail damage they didn't want to repair, poorly patched after I complained.
