A decade. That's the average length of time an RSP employee works here. Why? Because our firm offers opportunity. With five offices, multiple studios and a diverse portfolio, RSP provides a compelling employee experience. Our folks aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. On design. On job sites. Or participating in a team cooking competition.

When you walk into RSP Architects, just the venue at the historic Old Grain Belt Brewery is impressive. Parallel that with a community team that pitches in for each other and you feel like you are with family. Not an easy achievement for a worldwide architectural firm. You make me proud to be Minnesotan.

The 5 stars if for the studio tour. This one of the most interesting tours you'll go on in Minneapolis. As an Architecture student I've wen't on it several times and it wows me every time. The firm occupies the Historic Grain Belt Brewhouse, yeah that's the same Grain Belt that was and still is one of the regions largest brands, a well known local beer now brewed by Schells in New ulm.
Everyone knows the Premium and Nordeast brands. The building and the interior is truly a work of art! When you first come in the door you are in this magnificent, skylit atrium space with an original wrought iron stair that goes up to the skylight level some 7 floors up. It's such a unique space as it has all these multi level iron details from where the huge brewing equipment was.
There are Catwalks that take you over the old engine room which now has drafting stations in it, and you end the tour at thier meeting room inside the building's landmark cupola. There is also a rooftop patio on the Skylight level that has a breathtaking view of the Downtown Skyline. I highy suggest arranging a tour of this office, or just stopping inside the lobby atrium.
If you're into Architecture and Interior Design it is a must while in Minneapolis. Historic Breweries, besides being some of the most spectacular Industrial Buildings ever built (they look like large castles) are some of the most difficult spaces to reuse and what RSP did with the Grain Belt space is very inspirational, you gotta come here.
