General Spray Services

I am very happy with General Spray. My lawn was really messed by another spay company. I cancelled them and started with General. My lawn is in beautiful shape. Can't say enough good things about General Spray.

I have called General Spray twice during business hours. No one picks up. You are instructed to leave your name, phone number and address. I also left a detailed message about the weeds in my yard. No call back and no one comes to spray. The communication with this company is horrible.

They sent me a bill, and stated my yard had been sprayed for weeds. I inspected my yard and it was still full of weeds with none of them with any signs of dying. When I told them about it they sprayed a heavier concentration that burned my grass. Afterwards I told them I no longer needed their service and they sent me a bill for burning my grass with a mixture too strong for it. I would not recommend.

My Lawn was ruined by another well known spray service. I contacted General Spray less than a year ago. My lawn is quicly returning to a very nice lawn. These folks are good.

The sales guy who came out was great. Went over everything and we agreed on a plan. A couple things changed on my end with what I wanted to do with my yard so I called them and left a message (called a few times but they don't answer their phones) asking them to hold off for now and I will call when I am ready. Guy shows up the next day anyway and sprays. Tried calling them a few more times, left several messages, no reply.

Finally got an old lady to answer the phone and she wasn't the brightest crayon in the box and wasn't very professional. Will not be using them in the future thanks to their horrible office staff.

I have called twice and left messages once on their answering machine and a second time with a lady that took all my information and said she would have "Dave" call me for an appointment for lawn spraying ( I needed approx. 30,000 sq ft. sprayed) still no call (3 days later) I guess they are just to busy and don't need the business.but with a business being run like this they probably won't have a business for long.! Or they probably don't care.

Great family owned business. Highly recommend. All my questions were answered professionally, my weeds are starting to die, low staff turnover

Very knowledgeable, yard is already looking better. John the tech was very helpful in explaining what was going to do.

I have used this company more than once since I have lived in Ocala. In at least 2 well know nice neighborhood's. My first meeting with Dave was a rude one at best. Letting me know I looked much older for my age after just giving birth to my second child. However thats not important. My yard both times I gave them a try looked the same. No improvement. Just a bill. Go with Turner. They have state of the art technology. Not this stupid good ole boy network Ocala seems to embrace!

Best ever. We used Florida Pest for our lawn previously, ever since General Spray took over our lawn is so much more lush and weed free. As long as they are in my service I will use them.

I'm an ex-employee for this company and no I have no interest in harming them, but I'm an honest person and as real as I can be, These ppl charge you for uniforms and won't reimburse you 1st, even if 1 piece is missing mind you is $175.00 they laterally steal and keep, 2nd, there job description false! You have to work on there not on soo company ready trucks that are soo bad conditions u can complete ur work, It's family owned so Mr. Dave so call owner and religious person but stole my money I guess his religion isn't my kind. Kids do work as they please wont kill weeds then will blame you when u go to the same house.

They won't show you there so call GPS System that tracks drivers but will blame u for not being in customers houses, 8 must say I'm not angry I'm simply more disappointed, they use the religious ways to act as if there good ppl, Meanwhile his kids got top of the line trucks bigger yards wish means bigger bonuses, and all other workers have to walk 10,000 square feet daily 1 house or as much as 30,000 on foot pushing spreader mind u evryday 12 to 13 houses, while his kids have new ride on spreaders and trucks, all I'm saying I open my heart, worked hard completed my jobs evryday while others left work undone leaving customers for another day or week, turnovers high, they won't let u work to get a good bonus bcuz u working to fast so they control that also, Sad I enjoyed sum customers who gave me the chance to sho my work and called in giving me good compliments I thank u all who did. Be careful racist can be involved
