I needed some basic lawn work done in my front and backyard. We’re talking minor trimming and yard blowing only. I called several landscapers and none of them showed up. What is it with landscapers and pool repair people these days? You have to go through 5-6 companies just to get one to show up! Anyway, I vaguely remember using Sergio’s Lawn Service in the past and not being too happy with their work, but I wasn’t 100% sure so I went with it. They did show up as promised, but the crew that showed up seemed very annoyed at being there. No hellos, smiles, or friendliness whatsoever. They made my wife and I feel very uncomfortable. I really hate giving my money to people that seem annoyed at me for having enough faith in them to hire them. Anyway, they originally said $300 for both yards, but previous landscapers have always charged me $100-$200 for the same job, so I told them that $300 was too much. They then lowered the price to $250 and I reluctantly agreed because they were there, and I needed the yards done in prep for a party I was having later that day. I needed my column Ficus trees topped and explained to them that the most important thing was to remove all the leaves under the Ficus trees because they are messy and end up in my pool and because I was having a party later that day. When everything was done, I did a quick check of both yards from afar and thanked them for showing up. Later that day, I went outside to water plants in my backyard and noticed leaves and branches all around my Ficus trees. It basically looked the same as it did before any work was done. Frustrated that I spent more for less, I called the office and told the gentleman about all the leaves left behind. The gentleman said they would come back out and make it right. He said he would call me back with a time. A short while later the gentleman called me back and told me that they couldn’t return to my house that day because they were on another project for the remainder of the day. He also told me that they couldn’t return the following day either because they were booked. Wow. In my world, a poor-quality job and unsatisfied customer gets priority every time. The gentleman told me that they would come back out on Monday (after my party), but they never did. I even gave them three additional days to show up and…nothing. I now have to go through the BS of finding another landscaping company then pay them additional money on top of the money I just spent on Sergio’s Lawn Service just to get a simple job finished. If you are currently looking for a landscaping company AVOID SERGIO’S LAWN SERVICE.

Critical:Professionalism, Value Asked for more then price quoted after work done quoted 95, asked $150. Said price went up since I called to sched.

Called three companies, scheduled all three to come out for the interview and Sergio showed up first and ready to go. Friendly, fair and the yard looks great. Appreciate the hustle, Sergio.

Seems to be some major communication and pricing issues with Sergio's. The first time we had them, they did two tree-trimmings, removed a dead plant at the roots, cleaned up/trimmed eight bushes, did some light weeding, and blew out the front and back yard. $180 They came back for a maintenance visit, were supposed to weed, trim four bushes, and blow out the front and back. $150.

They also DESTROYED our three plants in the front by over-cutting. Clean up is fine, but they clearly didn't adhere to what we asked for and seriously overcharged as compared to other lawn companies in the area. Finally, they showed up without any confirmation or response as to when they would be coming. It was Friday morning, and we were waking out the door to go to work. Value, Responsiveness, and Communication on what we want/need is NOT there. I'll likely be getting flagged by my HOA, because they destroyed my plants in the front yard. go somewhere else.

They are sometimes late in arriving and because of that the weeds took over and they charged me $50 more last month! Normally happy with them though!

Sergio and his crew tackled a yard untended during the coronavirus which had sprouted huge weeds with deep roots. They answered immediately, came on time and did an amazing job. Was like a brand new backyard. The crew worked super hard and fast making this property shine. I have already asked for a bid on further work. Can not recommend this company more positively.

These guys are fantastic! The best landscape crew I have ever met! They are so nice, respectful, and most importantly they work fast and do an amazing job. If you want a crew that shows up and gets the job done at fair price this is the number you need to call! I will be calling them for the rest of my jobs and you should too! Do not hesitate.

I had been a customer for a couple years and all was good (5 stars) until their crew botched trimming my shrubs (4 stars) five days before Thanksgiving. I spoke with Sergio who promised to have them out to fix the trim before Thanksgiving but he never did. He then avoided my calls so I fired him. Bottom line: They were great until they weren't.

They cleaned up my yard today I'm very happy with the service. I figured while they were working that they would need a break and I was curious to see if they would try and charge me for their break as well because I was paying them by the hour. I'm happy to say that they did not attempt to charge me for the time that they were on break! They are hard workers, they did a great job and treated me honestly.

Sergio's team is fantastic. Called on a Saturday (Labor Day weekend) about removing 15 old large lantana plants, installing new drip emitters, and planting new plants.he had a crew out here Monday morning and had the whole project done in 4 hours. Beyond impressed with the professional service, friendly and efficient team, and overall quality of the job. Would recommend them to anyone.

Very poor customer service. Paid $250 for services a few weeks ago and although they were an hour and a half late, I was pleased with the work and decided to rehire for front yard. Set a time for noon, didn't want them to have a card on file so took time off work so I could be here to pay. Nobody showed up. Called and reset an appointment for the next day.

They came an hour and a half early. LUCKILY I was on lunch break and randomly stopped at home and saw them pulling up at the same time. No call, no notification, nothing. I called Sergio and asked if there was a service that could be thrown in for the inconvience of today and yesterday or maybe a small discount. He started arguing with me over how the appointment was for 1:30 and they showed up so no. ( Although the time I got home was 12 PM and they did not show up yesterday or even have the decency to inform me they wouldn't show up. ) I was planning to hire them at least once a month but due to such poor customer service and treatment I will take my business elsewhere. As you all know landscaping is not cheap so I will be doing business with someone who actually appreciates their customers. Save yourself trouble and go somewhere else.
